Very pretty area, could hear flowing water at several points on my walk. as of today (August 18, 2020) there is currently part of the trail that is blocked off due to a sinkhole, but that does not diminish the quality of this trail.

No parking spots. Apparently just for student use. Left without walking it.

And I have found another trip to make. Amazing how much you can enjoy in NC

Accessible local trail system on the App State campus. Please be aware: (a) trail network is a moderate hike on trails that havent been improved in decades, (b) is on University property, and (c) As state property hunting is not allowed.

So peaceful. The tranquility will definitely take you somewhere else for a little bit. Lots of wildlife, if youre quiet enough.

Would love to visit

Wouldve been beautiful, but there are no attendants to help with the location and the parking lot is exclusive to App State students/ people with Greenwood parking passes. I had no idea if I could park and hike the trail or not, so I just left.

The campus is beautiful ️ Our daughter chose here for its beautiful location and the excellent education it provides. She is currently getting her grad degree, I should say several. Were fortunate to have an extremely intelligent child thats doing wonderful with a current Summa Cum Laude. She has to work hard, but must love the college, professors and programs in order to be doing so well.Thanks APP STATE for being all that you are ️
