Nice place to walk, or bike. Great place for kids, and too observe the changing leaves.
Nice park when not crowded. Plenty of space, sports fields, lots of picnic tables by the creek and plenty of trash cans. Nice place to walk with options to expand to the Lehigh Sports Campus. Also connects to the rail trail that leads into South side Bethlehem.
It’s an awesome park, or was at least, back when I visited years ago with my church. I got baptized in Saucon Creek back in May 2008. The last time we came back was 2010 or 2011. Seems like a lot of churches would hold baptisms in the creek. Afterwards we would have bbq cookouts, swimming in the creek, and playing sports in the fields. It was an awesome time. I haven’t been back since so I don’t know if it’s still this nice or not.
A park should be inviting. It a shame how this gem has lost it shine from neglect. The city wrote it off years ago.
Quiet, clean, fresh. Only a few persons great for relaxing.
Nice little park with amazing scenery. And a nice lil walk path to enjoy the view and take your mind off everything else going on right now.
Great Natural destination. Nice walk through.
The service was great lots of smiles and the food was great
Saucon Park must have at one time been one of the prettiest places. It is still beautiful, but seems to get rather abused by its guests. And the Saucon Creek seems to have.had something happen to it in the last few years. The creek bottom is black from being covered with some kind of weed or slime. It is really sad to see. I dont think it is didymo, but it cant be good. I did get buzzed by a Bald Eagle while I was there, so that is cool. I just wish I could see some rocks and gravel vs. whatever has taken over the stream bottom. Update: It is a few years later and I dont see the same slime in the stream bottom. That is good!
Great little park with an inviting stream, nice picnic tables and fields.
Scenic and bucolic, a few slides for the kiddies. Other than that, nothing special.
Why cant we have nice things anymore? This park was a gem.
Nice place to stop for a smoke
Great place to grab a seat and read
I love this park. There are multiple swing sets and they have one of the swings that baby sits on one side and mom or dad sits right in front facing baby and swings too. Also past the playground its so beautiful by the river. The whole park has a perfect amount of sade so its not too hot for the parents when the kids dont want to leave. And one of the most important things is that there is no traffic by the park, the closest cars of in the parking lot but there are no roads by the playground so I feel safer bringing my son there.
The joke kind of makes itself here...
Love going kite flying in the field with my family
Very picturesque, quiet, tranquil place
Disc golf course is a more apt description. Lively matches going on all the time.
Great place to walk and fish
Great park for the kids and for a bike ride or a walk.
Its nicely shaded and quiet. The sound of the creek is peaceful. And there is always a police officer nearby.
Really nice people beautiful River its just one in there this to me
Needs more life not the way I was used to it
I fly jet here
Very nice park with a beautiful creek and tons of picnic areas. It also is nicely shaded
Nice fishing
See its a nice park to walk through. Good spot for photos if youre interested in photography
This park is a gem that the City is allowing to deteriorate. Its a shame to not see it being used as the cultural Sunday spot for families. Grass is not being cut in all areas and playground is aged.
Very calming
It chang alot no pool no more
Need a permit to only have a picnic with the family if using a gazebo but other than that beautiful scenery
Clean place to walk with your family or relax by the water.
This is the first of Bethlehems parks, established shortly after the citys consolidation in 1917. It is situated along Saucon Creek (hence its name) and features places for picnics, play equipment for children, playing fields, and opportunities for exercise and walking. The park, with its alignment along a creek, is mostly flat. Parking is available in several locations. In 2016, the city erected park ordinance signs to ensure park users understand the rules and regulations for its equitable use. It may continue to receive increased police visits in 2017.
Great spot for all ages . Has something for everyone . Great for Picnics, there are grills around the park . All you need is charcoal and food . Great fly fishing for the Big Boys and a super park for the little ones . There are swings etc., castle house type playground, public pool, big soccer fields, and open fields for any sport.Lots of big trees providing good shade.Rest rooms available . 5 star park .Enjoy . ( El Master approved )
Walked past the park and it looked like a fun place for kids.
Its pretty cool
Stroller friendly but a little bit crowded
Loved it.
Lovely walking park to stretch those legs
Great Park to take the kids out for some summer fun.My grandkids loved it!
Visited today and u havent been there in 30 years...free up here as a kid and the scenery is even better than it was then. All because the bridges, most, trees, creek and open fields. Loved my visit!!
I love it. The view great and very quiet.

Hey beautiful place which I used to take my children when they were little we used to walk play in the grass go in the water have lots of fun love when I used to go with my children why memories I could never erase them and I dont want to also reminds me when I used to go watch the soccer game with my friends we had a lots of fun just watching the soccer game and talkin while having some snack sitting down on the grass on a beautiful sunny day and relaxing our backs from a haart-working Day
Can someone please let me know how I get to this place, I can’t find it and it’s bothering me
Ok kinda small
Gave 3 stars cause when I went it was quiet and nice. But past visits there was nothing but ghettoness there trashing the place. Thats why the pool is probably closed. People ruined it
Love it.
Great park for hot summer days!
3 year no pool Bethlehem police stay at the gate from may 30 to labor day wasnt of tax payer money where the police can patrol the street housing area not the pubic parks
This is a great park to visit. There is a little bit of everything. Fishing, football field, baseball fields, playground, pavilions and grills! The small Bridges to cross add more beauty!
Nice place to have a party
Easy parking for running/riding on the Saucon Rail Trail. Sunday’s they host a farmers market. Plus the police patrol frequently. Lately though kids have been throwing a lot of trash around which is annoying.Park has a playground, volleyball area with sand, basketball court, a pavilion, bathrooms and water fountains, even a doggy fountain.ETA: Thanks for finally fixing the mixup in addresses between this park and Water Street Park!
I took a nice nap here.
Great Concert with Diana Signoretti
Well kept. Bald eagle nest nearby.
Great park
Relaxing and calming. Great place to get peace and quiet.
Still a good place for kids
Very nice and quite park..ONLY THING YOU CANT GRILL....For sitting and the using of pavilions you need permit forYou are not allowed to use any tables ...
Peaceful, open spaces, with a beautiful stream, fishing (w/permits), pavilion for picnics, play area, etc., off the beaten path. Cool park!!!
Beautiful area, shade, pavilions, grills and playground!!!
Great place to bring kids
Needs a little maintenance but it is nice but tends to get slightly flooded after a heavy rain.
Needs work ! I remember when I was little I would always come here with the family. Still nice just needs some work.
Great place to ride through
Mice park with stream going through it. Areas for barbecuing, playground for kids and open spaces for sports, games, etc
In my experience it has a calming effect shame the pool has been shut down been going there since the late 50s
Great place to go for the day.
Awesome park so much to see and do
You cant go swimming, there are bugs everywhere.
Love this quiet spot
Love this park
This is a biased review, but you cant beat home. haha. Saucon has seriously improved since the last director retired, as in, they actually care about it now. they have a football and baseball field set up again, and the pool is okay, but a bit older. lots of GREAT fishing. Its a less facilitated park, but if youre into it, theres lots of old ruins to explore
Its a great walking park, but thats about it. There are restrictions in place that prevent you from doing other things such as say flying a kite.
Great park with Fantastic Views!
We love saucon park is a nice places to just relax and enjoy the weather.
Nice park, with a creek running through it, no wading allowed, lots of,pavilions with grills
Good area
Cute little park.
Great for kids
The softball fields are great and the replaced some of the benches, but the soccer field is still a little rough.
Not as nice as when my kids were little, it is getting run down
Loved hiking nude
Wonderful town park, recently rebuilt with toilet facilities, volley ball court, playground, pavilion, stream access, a rail trail, and a farmers market on Sundays between May and October
Very fast and clear. I love this app.
