Hats off to my family. On this July 4th, we hike the four miles long Lakemont Trail nearby in just two hours. This trail is the most fascinating and joyful hike I have ever experienced. Part of this trail is built around the residential areas. We walked on paved path, muggy, rocky terrain, deep woods, over 45 degree steep incline, many bridges, picnic area, skate part, creeks, cliff. We also saw the million dollar homes gardens, and their magnificent lake view. Many overgrown wild blackberry bushes on this trail. Hiking boots are recommended especially in some sharp turns and loose downhill slopes. We saw a number of hikers and dogs on the trail today despite being a national holiday. It is a lovely trail and I will definitely hike here again.
Nice place for a short hike, walk the dogs and plenty of space for the kids to have a good time.
I only delivered a small load of concrete to a residence, but it is a very clean and quiet neighborhood. Lots of trees, a lot of the landscaping is close to the same (probably HOA regs) but still unique in their own rite. Superb view of Lake Sammamish if youre in the right spot. Not a lot of traffic either. I was parked for the better part of an hour, 3 vehicles passed me. 2 of them were various service providers, one was (Im guessing) a resident. Dunno that i could afford to live here, but if my financials were right, i could see raising my kids here. Altho Ive not met any of the residents, so who knows how theyd mesh with an old beer drinking Redneck like me.
A wise man once said, this ma scoop. He could have been referring to the large bowl-like grass pit in the center of the park [Notice: if your dog is not yet fully trained for off-leash activity, dont bring them here, as they can run through the gap in the fence under the bridge.] The man may have been referring to more of a feeling, rather than a place. Perhaps he felt that this location was his scoop because he felt at home there. Something truly beautiful to think about. That man was RChop, local rapper and legend, featured on A-A-Rons hit single Gang.
Great place to do multiple activities such as tennis, walk/run, childrens play area, dog training, skater board training etc. Love the surrondings here. Its very beautiful.
Nice, family friendly. Skateboarding fenced area a d a big fenced dog area
Lots of space, not crowded at all
Been coming here for over 20 years. Great spot for all ages. Played tennis with the wife while the kids played on the playground. Basketball court, skate park and walking trails are also available. There is also a public restroom. One of my favorite parts is being able to walk over to the grocery store for a quick drink or snack.
Great walkways and excellent Creek area with beautiful nature all around.!
Great park for kids. Toddler and big kid playgrounds with swings. Theres a big grass field and a baseball diamond. Parking lot can get full quickly on a sunny day. Wish there were more picnic benches.
Nice park for kids n adults. Dogs have their own dedicated space too
Hike. Wild. Serene. Beautiful. Workout doing the trail. Refreshed.
Great place to take your kids and/or dogs! Theres a nice-sized playground for the little ones with two separate play sets for larger and smaller kids. Lots of people walk their dogs through the park as well, and the pathways are nicely paved. Theres also a skate park which seems nice, but then Im not a skateboarder. Overall the place is well maintained.
It is great place, you can combine dog walking(they have a closed area which is used for that), sport - tennis is here and there is hiking area too.Very nice in spring and summer here.
Its easy to find and a versatile park. A great place to get exercise or just hang out with your dog. Hiking trails pass right the PARK, but you could also skate or put together a pick up game.
Grew up here. So much more growth now than 10 years ago its great to see all the changes.
Its quite peaceful vast area so that no matter if your just simply chilling in your car, playing tennis, walking the trails, baseball or skate park. Theres more than enough room for everyone ALL night. Even if the kids need some lost energy...thats definitely the place!
There is a skate park here as well.
A sizeable neighborhood park! You can reserve covered picnic areas for group events, and it comes with a coal grill. The revamped skate park area looks good too. Parking spaces are a bit tight, though, so please be cautious wirh the larger SUVs or trucks.
Great for some family time. Basketball court, tennis court, good playground and roller skate area too
Love the place, great for casual get-togethers or big parties. Fun for the whole family. And with a bridge leading to the little shopping center.
I love this park. I have two little kids and we have done the nature trail, biked and scootered around the paved path, played on the playground, and went to the Starbucks over the bridge for a treat. It has lots of parking and restrooms.
Great little park. Has a paved loop around the outside that is perfect for biking with kids. The huge retention pond area gets used as an informal off-leash dog park. Good kids playground and sports facilities and even a little skate park. A quiet little gem in the neighborhood.
Nice for a walk. Good for kids too.
Dirty on Sunday, June 30th. Told the baristas, no sense of urgency. Bathroom was out of TP, urine on the side of toilet on floor. Nasty...and the black tile and paint is unsanitary feeling. Both inside and outside garbage containers were over flowing. No one tended while we were there from 9:30 to 10:30. Arent people supposed to check these things prior to break? With 7-8 baristas working behind the counter...someone should have responded.Just something else to comment on...this store does a great online business which makes us walk-ins having to wait up to 30 minutes for our drinks. Has to be a better way!
Beautiful park with walking trails and amenities.
Beautiful neighborhood park. Good for small and big kids
The skate court is awesome since the addition of the flatbar/rail
Check out the spillway that allows the retention pond to overflow into Lewis Creek if it fills up. I wonder how often this happens. It would be fun to watch from the bridge.
Great tennis court, lot of parking with beautiful views
Beautiful trail and view, we loved it!
So refreshing to be there.
Its a beautiful park. It has a play area for kids. Lovely path for walks and riding bikes for kids. It has rest rooms. Its a lovely park.
Nice park
Great neighborhood park.
Great shady spot for lunch
Today was a sunny spring day and my kids had fun playing in this park. Green spaces, slopes, a skate park and playgrounds make it perfect for active children, especially those who cycle or scooter.
What a nice trail! It weaves in and out of urban and woody areas. Great for a short walk, relaxing and enjoying nature!
Nice Park with easy access and parking. Great place to walk the dog or take a quiet stroll.
Nice park with all the basic features you would expect for a neighborhood.
Beautiful park, lots to Dee and do. Very clean and safe to take children.
Peace
Great place for an evening walk.My 3yr old baby loves to play at the kids play area here.
Good place for BBQ
The little skate court is amazing for learning skateboarding.
Very nice for hiking with younger kids.
Tennis courts, playground, skate park, and the runoff control basin makes a good off-leash dog run
Well-maintained trail and that superstructure is fantastic!
Nice...not too crowded.
Nice little neighborhood walk-around
Very spacious with several nice trails
Nice park
My wife really likes the walking trail
