Great trails to hike on. There are 2 loop trails you can do, as well as ones that go straight to a road. The trail is easy to walk on, and its not super steep. There are stairs in some places. On one of the trails, there are 2 crow nests that look out over where youve already hiked. I would definitely recommend these hikes to anyone nearby.

A very well maintained trail, nicely hidden in the dense forest, good for one hour walk. This trail has much less visitors compared to other walking trails nearby.

Well kept trails through a mountainous area. I envy anyone who lives walking distance from these. These are hiking trails that are quite steep, so good for adults, teens, and dogs - but not as much for younger kids. There are areas for younger kids, but youll need to scope out where they are before coming.

Really pleasant hilly trail through quiet wooded area. Good for about a one hour walk at moderate pace from northern end to southern end and back.

I had a really fun time. It was a short hike, perfect for beginners and a nice place to go on a hiking run, some benches are place in serene scenic overlooks. Would definitely go back again.

Kind of a lame trail. Not long enough and no great sites to see. Good company required.

These are some of our favorite trails to walk and hike through that are easily accessible from our neighborhood. Everything is green, lush and peaceful. You can hear the birds chirping and it’s overall fairly quiet. Depending on when you go, it’s not normally overly busy. Highly recommend. Taking both loops is just over 2 miles.

Really beautiful old growth pocket. The trails are pretty short but really well kept. No parking or trash cans - pack out what you bring in.

I only had a chance to explore the 168th side as my bellevue running route. Looks very dense with trees. Friendly residents and occasional lake view. I dont find parking as other reviewers mentioned. Second time visit : was reasonably straight forward trail and a beautiful creek flowing through. A nice viewing point too!

Awesome trail nearby Bellevue and Sammamish. Lot of greenery. Well maintained trail with very less people. Easy trail. You can jog if you want to make it tougher. There are few poisonous shrubs. So, stay on the trail. Don’t walk outside of the trail. You will see a small falls and stream of water when it rains. We went here to hike with our new born child and it was awesome!

Theres a picnic table somewhere in the park - thats very convenient for families with small kids. Trails arent rocky and not a lot of roots - our 3 y.o. walked everywhere by herself without sitting on the shoulders. I wouldnt say its simple trail - plenty of uphill and downhill segments, but still doeable.

Ive lived in Bellevue 25 years and finally decided to check this park out. Nice forested hike which was just what I wanted. A few ups and downs over the 2 miles that we hiked, so not flat but not that difficult either.

Nice nature trails in a dense forest. Some parts are intruded upon by road noise and others you hardly hear anything but nature. Mostly shaded on a sunny day. No views of Lake Sammamish, however, at least on the South Loop

Da
Review №38

Just ok. Huge incline at the beginning to get your heart pumping - they dont tell you that in the guide books. Lol Confusion reigns at the top of the hill as its not marked well. Dont make the mistakes I made: go to the left and you end up in someones driveway (literally); go straight and you simply end up on the street in about 15 minutes. I suppose if I go back Ill go to the right - hopefully its a real hike that way.

Entering the Weowna Park trail system from West Lake Sammamish Parkway makes one feel like Alice in Wonderland. The area is gorgeous and the 116 steps one needs to climb to the top of the hill provide a great workout opportunity. I find it particularly enchanting when the Phantom Creek and the waterfall are running in winter and early spring.

This place is amazing! I couldnt find any maps but since the park is narrow it is easy to not get lost. The waterfall is quite pretty and there are good views of the lake. Theres at least an hours worth of walking here. This is part of a network of trails in Bellevue. Follow signs to other areas to extend your walk.

Less selfish than Iowna Park, and much more laid-back than Youowna Park. Plus, its not as nearly as far away as Theyowna Park! It strikes a perfect balance between masculinity and femininity, unlike their brother and sister Parks, Heowna Park and Sheowna Park. Truly a place for the community - Weowna Park.
