OMGosh I LOVED IT HERE !!!SO PEACEFUL, SO NICE, VERY CLEAN FOR A OUBLIC PARK...NOT CROWDED AT ALL !!!MY CHILDREN LOVE THE ZIP LINE THEY HAVE...NOBODY WAS SMOKING SO IT WAS REALLY A GREAT TIME !!!THE SCENERY HOW YOU CAN SEE THE BRIDGES AND THE WATER PLUS WALKING THE BOARDWALK JUST AMAZING!!!

Super clean, lots of lifeguards on staff, fun for a variety of ages and locals. The hours are 10-5:45 and then afterwards you can still have fun in the sun going into the ocean or playing basketball, ziplining and climbing the jungle gym next door. Plenty of chairs, tables and lounge chairs. Not a bad idea to bring your own as well. No food is allowed, but there are picnic tables around it with plenty of shade. Definitely recommend. Price is a bit hefty, but awesome for a special treat or free with the pool pass.

Grew up at this Marina in Bay Shore they now call Shipwreck Cove Spray Park. My children who are now adults grew up here crabbing, fishing, swimming etc. It has come a long way with the addition of kids water park and all the renovations. I know its February but my beautiful grandaughter Anais loves the playground no matter how cold it is!

Great place. A little busy on a hot day but my son had a lot of fun. This is awesome in his words. Pay for parking (metered) picnic tables to eat, playground in the sand outside spray park area.

Great park to cool down on a hot day. Plenty of chairs to sit and relax. The snack bar has a good selection and their prices are reasonable. The pool is large enough to accommodate patrons.

This outdoor swimming place is ok. Pricey and you cant bring food in there. I dont think my kids will be going there again since they didnt have as much fun. I would say its more for kids 5yr and under.

Nice place except for the accommodations. Its kinda of like musical chairs, as son as you get up people are running for your table. Gets a little hectic but good fun for the youngins.

I go every year since it opened. usally its a fun place and can spend hours their with the kids im a family of 8 i have 6 kids so i usally spend alot of money in the pools .This year we might not be going back. i went on Sunday with family and friends spent close to 300$ just to get in. I was with my daughter by the lil slide when i noticed poop on it and as well as diaper pieces then i noticed that a few kids was wering regular diapers and not tbe water ones wich we all know is not suitable for pools period. I bought all this to the life guards attention and they didnt do anything they didnt clean it nor did they ask the parents witb the kids diaper inside falling everywhere to fix the problem it was soo gross i couldnt stay their. seeing the neglect they showed sunday tells me that tbey dont care wich is really bad they need to care the place needs to be clean and sanitary for kids..i was their for about a hour untill we got sceeved out and had to leave i tried to get my money back wich under the circumstance shouldnt of been a issue but the big lady was rude mean and didnt care so we just left and now we all refuse to spend anymore money with islip pools because of unsanitary conditions. Im a family advocate that work with alot of families and kids with disabilities and ship wreck crove was part of our summer fun day for our families but i dont think i can no longer recommend our families to this place. my 2 youngest kids are sick because of ingesting a lil of that polluted water.. im so upset about this we loved this place but untill those employees get replaced or properly trained on pool maintenance and actually clean it. we and at least 15 other family that im close with wont be returning their. ive tried calling the town and got no response. i did take plenty of pictures of the incident . Next im going to reach out to my friends at news 12 since nobodys cares enough about tbe publics health......keep islip pools clean....if my kids caught something bad we will go legal. We should all boycott the pools until we know for a fact that their will be no more issues like this and their i a proper protocol for these issues pool should have been drained and refilled fir something like that. Human wast can kill you

Worth the hefty non-resident price. High quality well kept features. Its kept clean and is welp staffed. Each of my kids (1.5, 4 and 7) had features they enjoyed. The view is great too.

Big park lots to do

Great place to bring your kids. Small enough to monitor your kids whether you have 1 or 4, but big enough for every one to have fun. Its also all fenced in with employees at the 1 entrance/exit so theres little to no worry about little ones wandering off.

My kids love it here. This pool is always clean and we always have a blast.

Beautiful location, I love the pool park its very fun for kids. I actually had fun too I love the playground as well, my daughter is obsessed with the mini Zipline. Definitely a great spot to enjoy a nice summer with pool fun, playground fun and also a nice walk on the deck infront of the ocean views. Family friendly for sure.

This place is a hidden gem. It is great for young children. It has the awesome spray park which is a jungle gym of water and a small man-made beach area with lifeguards and shallow enough to be safe for all children. There is a bath house with showers and bathrooms. They also sell ice here and limited choice of food such as hot dogs. Parking is paid by space number and paying at the meter at the parking lot crosswalks where the meters are located. You can pay in quarters or credit card.

The best part is that its completely gated off, so kids cant wander away. Kids loved it & we loved it.

Was told they didnt open until June 29. Looking forward to taking my son there. Guess we will have to wait till next weekend . I will update once we actually go. But going based on last summers rating

Its great way for kids to cool off and get wet but sometimes the parents arent watching their kids....but its a nice family time but u have to get there early if you want a seat because it gets crowded fast!!!!

This is nice and quite spot by the shore, try to visit early in the morning and watch the glorious creation of Allah as the sun rises and all living things come back to life and also the parking is free at this time.

I honestly love this place. It’s a great place for kids the pool and the slides are so fun and safe. I also do like the fact that there’re so many other things to do, there’s a beach area and a basketball court, you can fish, walk for an amazing view of the water, and they have a restaurant and a food area to buy fries burgers and other things. great place for a family day.

Great for kids, contained and well run. The lifeguards are nice and friendly with the kids. My kids love it. Its a little pricey for non-residents at $12 per person, but residents with a pass are $8.

Water park wasnt open because we went recently(winter) but the kids loved the zip line!!!

Kids fun galore!!! Great slide and splash pad. Super shallow from 0 inches to the deepest at 6 inches...no swimming require.

A nice little Islip town splash park. My toddler was so excited he could bearly contain himself. Bring some beach chairs though. The place is usually crowded enough that all the tables and chairs around the edges are taken. It costs $6 per adult if youre a town resident with a recreation card, or its free if you bought the pool pass. There is also Benjamin Beach here, right next to the splash park, and it thats free for all town residents. Benjamin Beach has a cool pirate ship shaped play structure, and a zip line too.

Great fun for the kids. A good variety of stuff to keep them happy for a while.

Nice but expensive. Water was freezing but eventually it became refreshing in a hot day. They take credit card for payment.Non resident is 15 percent person plus 1 per hour for parking.

Very cute for young Kids but way too expensive for outsiders. Thy have tables around area but be warned, you can’t eat on them or inside the gates.

Absolutely terrible. Paid $24 to get in, 10minutes later a kid puked in the pool and they closed it. Wouldnt issue me a refund or give me another day free pass. Very rude to customers. My kids were upset, wasted money and a 25minute drive.
