Beautiful hike! We went in past Beehive/The Bowl. Bit of a long hike in, but great views at every turn. The view at the top was our favorite of all of our hikes. Simply breathtaking. Be selective on your hike down... We took the easy way back (so we were told) and it was a sheer cliff face with areas that if you took one wrong step, youd fall off the side. We wished we hiked out the same way we went in.Totally worth every moment!

The way to experience Acadia’s stunning views

Great & unique view of Frenchman’s Bay and Bar Harbor. Early hikers might see Peregrine falcons nesting on the Precipice Trail. Tough hike up, smooth way down on the North Ridge/Bear Brook Trail.
