Agamont Park offers great views of Bar Harbor’s docks. There are plenty of benches and a large grassy area to sit back, relax and reflect. At the entrance to the park is a water fountain and some nicely arranged hydrangea. You will also be able to enjoy a gazebo. It is a good place to people watch or just read a book.

Agamont Park is something like outside theater. You are resting and watching for new people, cars, boats, which moving back and forth. Amazing islands in the ocean, to many restaurants and hotels surrounded. Just enjoy.

Lovely place to spend an hour looking down at the boats and the beautiful scenery around bar harbor. Bustling place and lots of nice quaint shops and restaurants. Parking across is $2 an hour last I visited, could be somewhat tough to find on busy days.

Although there were quite a number of tourists enjoying the day in Bar Harbor most have masks on and are observing 6 foot distance apart. It is posted everywhere. We felt safe outdoors in Agamont Park. And the view is beautiful as always. Love Maine!

Beautiful, clean, well kept park with an incredible view of the harbor. Lots of benches available but theres open grassy areas to enjoy too. Watch as cruise ships come in to dock, or local fisherman drop off their latest catch of lobsters at the edge of the pier.

Great views and nice place to relax. Shopping, restaurants and public restrooms nearby. Not nearly as busy in the winter, but some businesses were still open. Summertime is hopping! Cruise ships visit here in Bar Harbor as well. Locals are wicked friendly.

Fantastic view that never disappoints and there is wifi available

Great park to rest at right next to the ocean and watch the boats come in and out of Harbor. Great view of the pier and right next to Main Street downtown Bar Harbor. Lots of open area to play frisbee sit down on a park bench or watch people shopping along Main Street. Beautiful flowers and really well-maintained park. There is no children’s play ground, so be aware. Overall incredibly beautiful!

Beautiful, peaceful park to sit and relax, watch the boats, have a picnic. Sometimes there is music there, there is a trail along the water. Best spot to watch fireworks. Very close to the shops and restaurants. There are public bathrooms here, well maintained grass and landscape.

Scenic area. A lot of great places to eat. Several bed and breakfast around the area. Would love to stay at B&B next time.

The views here are super awesome! I could sit here and just watch for hours. Great place to people watch and also observe views of the harbor.

Nice manicured greenaries and its very clean. You see kids running, or rolling down the lawn, people sitting on the benches and many people taking pictures by the water! Just a relaxed and serene space to chill!

Nice park on a hill that is facing the ocean. You are more than likely to stop by here at least once during your visit. It does tend to be pretty crowded but it is still a nice spot to visit.

We were there for July 4th celebration. The fireworks, food and most of all the spirits of the people gathered there was out of the world.

Really nice spot right on the harbor, in the middle of the touristy hustle and bustle. And it was nice to hear some very relaxing live music. This guy sings on the sunset cruise and has CDs: John Tercyak.

Lovely park.Great views from every angle.The kids had a blast playing in the grass and rolling down the grassy hills. It is very close to food and shops. We enjoyed a delicious icecream on one of the park benches together.We went on 4th of July weekend. So, it was extremely busy and parking was hard to get. But, not impossible.

Great views and a great place to sit for lunch while overlooking the ocean

Everyone went to Maine, and Bar Harbour the same time we did. This is a nice focal point to the town, where the parents can sit on a bench and drink coffees and the kids can play with their treasure from Shermans. Welcome green space when the town was hopping. Cool big ships to watch too.

If you want the Acadia outdoor experience this isnt your place. Its a nice urban green space to sit and watch harbor activity. However, its way to crowded and congested if youre not a people person and a shopping athlete. The park it self is well designed and thought out for the space and meeds of the community.

Beautiful but super busy..

This is a clean, well-cared for park with beautiful views of Bar Harbor. When we were there we saw antique tall ships and cutting edge mega yachts side by side in the water. We enjoyed our delicious take-out lunch while sitting on a park bench, enjoying the view of the harbor. What a treat!

Nice bayside park. Gets a little busy on days when cruise ships are in port. Great views of the bay. Several bench’s in the park. Park is clean and well maintained. Bought lunch in town and took it to the park to eat.

Agamont park is must visit if youre passing through Bar Harbor.You can stroll through the shops with your friends/family and then stop and watch the sea. You can watch the ships sail out and go down the beach in the water.A fun little activity is when low tide comes in, take the previously submerged landbridge over to the island. Its a wonderful little spot.

Great place. The view from the park is beautiful! You can see beautiful Harbor!The only downside is that, there are too much dog manure at this park!! I was so amazed at the beautiful view, that I have not noticed the numerous dog manure!!! I stepped on few of them!! It was so unsettling!! I have never been in a place that the dog owners just let them dog poop on the ground without picking/cleaning them up!! So disgusting!

Lovely landscaping, great ocean views, free. Everyone around on vacation, atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Ironically, with impending arrival of hurricane/tropical storm Dorian tomorrow crowds now really light, which makes it even more pleasant visiting.

Beautiful place. I reached there in the evening after the rains and the whole place was shrouded in mist. There was a magical feeling to the place. The half mile pathway along the coast is a must do

Beautiful place to sit and overlook the harbor in Bar Harbor, and much of Frenchmans Bay. You can watch the lobster boats as well as the cruise ships come and go. Great place for a picnic too as its all a grassy knoll.

The town was super busy and due to the cruise ships it was so crowded. The park had barely anyone there which was a nice change and it was beautiful. There was also parking too that wasnt full. Joy!!
