Amazing distillery with fantastic staff. I worked with Gabriella to pull off a surprise birthday party at the venue and despite it being a pandemic, she made it a seamless process. Not only did we do a tasting for 16, but had the bar reserved for an additional 1.5 hours with impeccable customer service.Definitely will be going back for more drinks, great view, and another fun-filled weekend.Thank you to the entire staff for making The event perfect! Couldn’t have done it without you.

Went a tour the other day! Fantastic! Zach the tour guide was very informative and friendly! The tour was informative and engaging and fun! The tasting at the end was great! Really got to pick each others brains on what aromas and taste we were all picking up! Hopefully Maryland Rye will be back on the map and can get a reputation again! Will be back again soon I hope.

When Sagamore Distillery first opened up we toured with friends. It was really cool to see the fermenting process. Since then we have brought several friends visiting. As they continued to grow, they now offer cocktail making classes. My husband and I tried one and had SOOOO much fun! So much so that we then decided to host a couple’s date night cocktail making class. The staff, building and location on the water are all wonderful! If you are looking for a fun experience in Baltimore or a picturesque view and cool spot to spend the afternoon Sagamore Spirit Distillery is just the spot!

Visited this place today. Wow! Didn’t realize there is a genuine whiskey distillery in Baltimore and that this industry has been around for over 100 years. Kevin the tour guide was fantastic and the whisky was too good. If you are in the area this is a must place to check out. Rye whiskey made locally and tastes so brilliant never thought.

Had a great time touring the distillery. In my opinion, the whiskey is good but lacks depth. The 83 proof was smooth and cask strength was pretty good. Not a fan of the Vintners flavor which was finished in a wine barrel.

This place has such a cool story. The Phelps own the land where the aquifer is located. They cut their cask strength down with the high quality water and it makes the whiskey taste fantastic. The history of the ranch runs through the distillery and it is so fun to see the process. This is a must-see if you are in the area. Great double-rye whiskey.

Amazing distillery to check out. Went on the tour which is $10 and includes 4 samples at the end with a chocolate truffle. Tom was our guide and was fantastic at explaining the process and science of it all. Definitely recommend checking this out if you have a chance. Also, be very careful with the white rye. It tastes and burns like striaght fuel.

The visitor center was very nice. All of the products they sell are cool. Nothing tacky about what they offer. The tour guide was awesome. She was very friendly and connected with our group. The tasting room is a great way to end the tour. We tried four different Sag pours. All were very tasty. The restaurant has a small menu with options for everyone. The food came out fast and was delicious. The bar has a great selection of whiskeys that are very hard to find. So, I had a neat treat with my lunch. I highly recommend this place!Ps. The distillery is a little outside the hustle and bustle of the city and there is plenty of parking at the distillery. Have fun!

Even though this is a paid tour ($15-$20), I think it was great value for a roughly one hour tour with tastings of 3-4 different drinks. I think there gift shop is a little high priced but it fairly easy to get to just off the interstate in Port Covington. Nice area with great location along the water.I recommend coming for a tour if you are in the area and want to experience some solid rye whiskey.
