If you get the chance to do the Bromo Seltzer tour do yourself a favor and do it. Informative, interesting and just plain fun. This building is unique and there is no other clock like it in the world. You cant beat the price either...

By far, the most distinctive, enchanting, memorable building in downtown Baltimore. Felt that way since 40 years ago: Not merely a healthy respect to the past, it brilliantly maintains living artists creations. When possible, try to do most of the tour.

We went through Groupon and had a wonderful experience. Exceeded expectations. Request Ernie for your tour - he was passionate and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the tower and Baltimore in general (hes also hilarious). There’s beautiful art galleries along all 15 floors - definitely would recommend!

I cant say enough about how wonderful the tour was at the Tower- slide show for background/history and a very passionate docent who had many stories and was very knowledgeable about the building, cobalt blue bottles, and medicines back in the day. The clocks on each side of the top floor were something to see. So much more than what I expected to see. Highly recommended on a trip to Baltimore.

A wonderful historical monument in Baltimore. By doing one of the tours in the tower, you support the Baltimore Arts District! Even along the stairwell, local artists sell their work. I had a wonderful time.

If there is only one place you can go when visiting Baltimore, this is it. Hands down the best experience you will have there. So informative so inspiring and the residents are so passionate. Come here first and then go eat the crab cake and do the rest.

I had a really great time on my visit to the Bromo Seltzer Tower. I went on the tour and was very impressed with the history and especially of seeing the inside of the tower! The experience is really cool as the levels have been converted into a gallery/studio space environment, but when I went there were very few rooms open, which was a shame. I would have loved to see more. It is a great visit that I would recommend to anyone!

Even my 8 & 11 year old stayed interested during the presentation before we headed up to the clock tour due to our guide Ernie’s enthusiasm! Interesting history of both Bromo Seltzer, the founder and the tower and seeing the inside of the tower was neat. There is an elevator to the 11th floor and the “ship stairs” were not to steep for anyone in our party ranging from age 8 to 70s

Highly recommend stopping by here if youre into history, art, or architecture. The first 15 floors are rented out art studios / galleries. About half of them were open for display when we walked through and free to view. The more interesting part was an $8 tour of the clock tower, which is the next levels up. The tour started off with the guide providing a half hour history lesson of the origins of Bromoseltzer and its founder. Very interesting story in my opinion! Then we headed to the actual tower to learn about how it actually works. The 15th floor also had a glass bottle collection and various Bromoseltzer products.

A gem of an attraction in a city scattered with blight. Visited with my parents yesterday and everyone had an excellent time. Ernie, our tour guide was as unique and interesting as the tower itself. Would highly recommend this attraction as one of the best in Baltimore. Ernie, cant wait to see your bottle collection at the Union Collective coming soon!

While the whole experience can be described as a bit eccentric, this was a really fun place to visit. The tour covers a lot of interesting history, and if you have even a passing interest in mechanical engineering this is a must-see. From the surprisingly compact but beatifully maintained clockwork running the four huge clock faces to the antique 1911 Otis elevator that still carries passengers, this is a great little gem of an attraction.

We didnt take the clock tour, but you can walk up and down (or take the elevator) all the floors and visit artists studios. Not only is there some very cool artwork, but you get views of Baltimore and get to see some interesting architecture within the tower. If you are visiting Baltimore, you need to add this to your list of places to visit.
