As a Baltimore native and someone who has worked in Mount Vernon for many years, I do not want ti imagine what this neighborhood might have become without the Conservancy. Their dedication to the protection, preservation, and care of Mount Vernon is remarkable. Their work requires intensive research, thoughtfulness, integrity beyond what most know or even imagine. And their passion for educating others and celebrating the rich history and significance of our community is not only admirable, but contagious.
