Nice open area to walk jog or ride a bike. Great place to have a picnic or family reunions. Large tennis courts, baseball fields, also large basketball courts. Great view of the reservoir as well. Nice scenery in the middle of Baltimore. Also the zoo is located here
I love Druid Hill Park! Its got everything our family loves to do. Trails for walking, biking, and running. A beautiful conservatory full of plants and flowers. A delightful zoo with all kinds of animals. Pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, pavilions to rent, ball fields, Safety City, disc golf, bird watching, a Farmers market, and so much more Im probably forgetting. Theres something here for everyone.
Park is under construction for the most part, but I remember and recognize the potentiality. Folks were still enjoying the tennis courts and running paths, hopefully by 2022, itll be a place of beauty!
Great view during this pandemic nice walk around this place
Well kept up lots of space goid parking nice people all around. 3 separate courses all with in 1 course anywhere from novice level layout all the way to amature & pro layouts.Absolutely love the park the course & the zoo & botanical gardens at druid hill park (dhp)Lots of diversity at the course witch is a hard thing 2 find at mist courses.Would highly recommended for every1 as a number 2 as opposed turkey hill park being 1st and kinder farm being 3rd place
Love druid hill disc golf course. There are so many different courses to play and they do an excellent job at keeping the courses in prime shape. I am blessed to live just 5 minutes away.
Its a Wonderful park comfortable and relaxing nice of view of the city. I go to breathe the fresh air and the walk half of the reservoir. And just enjoy the nature and the beauty of the park.People are friendly and they speak.
Great place for a bike ride around the water. Having a young kid makes it even better. Playground is great and we always meet friends! Pickleball league, disc golf and the soon to be pool, so much to do and a lot of great people to meet!
Weather was nice.... perfect time for children to run and breath fresh air... and feel the sun on their neck. Drink Tea-Tox.Shop to stay mucus free and healthy.
Nice place. It becomes strictly enforced when its dark. No trespassing
Great well maintained disc golf course. Very busy, but people maintained social distance and play flowed well. 2hr 18 holes
Let me tell you, as a Lil boy I played football on that field, now has baseball Diamonds on it. 10 -12 football 40 years ago. Wow!! Its looking good out there. They are getting it together for yall. And, you know how yall is?
Druid Hill Park is the best place to go for a picnic out thereFun good Basketball court Tennis courts and swimming poolThere is a safety city there
Lots of pavillions to relax and enjoy the views of druid lake and park. Picnic possibilities. Expansive grounds adjacent o the Zoo
A true urban oasis. That Olmsted, Central Park NYC, also designed this park says a lot. Walk the 4 mile perimeter walk 3 to 4 times a week and encounter nothing but like minded folks who enjoy being outside. Great views of downtown, home of the Maryland Zoo and Rawlings Conservatory. One of these days Im going to get into frisbee golf but for now its fun watching the diehards.
The construction cuts off the walking path in 2 places and theres a serious need for some shade trees along the path approaching Dru Hill Drive, yet it still manages to be a soothing walk. I only passed 1 exercise spot with pull-up bars and a covered floor for push-ups, but I heard there are more, which is pretty great for outdoor exercise if you dont just wanna run.
Been coming to this park since infancy so it feels like another wonderful home to me. I love the Zoo, the Mansion House, the pool and the walking trails. I always discover new historical facts here. Four generations of my family have such fond memories made here at Druid Hill Park. Absolutely love this place!!!
Druid Hill Park is so massive, its hard to believe that you can fit so much green space into the inner city. Because of its sheer size theres just about something for everyone. Baseball fields, football fields, playground equipment a-plenty. Theres just so much to see and do and explore and Druid Hill Park. Its got something for everyone.
We stopped by to see if the wood carvings would still be around(?). Couldn’t find them so we took a quick stroll & came across a bike race with musicians performing, Rawlings Conservatory building, a beautiful garden & scenery, a couple taking engagement pictures & a gorgeous hawk.If anyone can update of the wood carving statutes are still there & where they’re located in the park would be great!
Very relaxing place to clear your head but yet be around people socially distancing
Under some construction lately, but still a nice, peaceful spot.
There are so many wonders hidden within druid hill park! Even with the reservoir closed right now, theres miles of trails, tennis courts, basketball courts, disc golf course, zen garden, bmx course, Rawlings Blake Conservatory, the Zoo, Safety City (lol), and acres and acres of beautiful grass and trees just begging for a sunny picnic. Such a gem for the city!!!!!
Outstanding park Ive been going to this park all my life beautiful place I visit every Wednesday evening with friends
Great place for a gathering or quiet time depending on what you want. Playgrounds, pavilions and plenty of grassland to enjoy.
ALWAYS loved Druid Hill Park, ILL be glad when they FINALLY FINISH everything going on in the park they are fixing.
Clean easy to find spacious great for family gathering kids birthday party date night or just want to look at the water
I absolutely adore Druid Hill Park. This is the only park I bring my two dogs to. We like to hang around the baseball field near the police station and mansion area. It is usually a fairly low-traffic area. One thing I have noticed is that people like to drive to Druid Hill and park their cars and just sit in them. I find that kind of weird...but maybe its a city folk thing? Im not from here. Love this park. Always clean and tons of space to let the dogs run and walk around. Watch out for the goose poop!
A lovely park thats close to town with great greenery and peaceful space
Wish the city would put a little more into this place. Its good. Could be great
The reservoir is under renovation, but my walk was pleasant. The visitors were friendly. Everyone acknowledges you.
Beautiful place. The construction is taking long but will be well worth it
Lush green acres. Hope they finish the restoration soon!
The park was pleasant and although it was warm outside a nice breeze kept coming through the pavillion. Yes, construction is going on and it seems the employees are doing their best to refine the park.
Great park! Lots of different areas to explore; plenty of pavilions, and overall easy to stay to ones self in the shade!
Nice place to walk/run. Due to covid the pool is closed.
Its time to upgrade it, Make a better look
We love taling our son to ride his bike. And interacting with friendly people is always a plus.
I love it. nice place to bike, jog, skateboard, chill, existfmoig @sybria_
Played two rounds of disc golf. Great course. Really enjoyed it.
I grow up in Baltimore City as child, always busted the park and recreation. Miss those fun years.
Disc golf course Fun- Fun well maintained course, all par 3, fun course to introduce new players to the sport
Always got to this park to have a peace of mind and a drank. Nice place to work out, and aum.good visual
Good farmers market food, they sell fresh fruits and vegetables
Regular improvements and enhancements make repeat visits worthwhile
We visited Druid Hill Park for the Pride Festival 2019. It was our first time there and it was very impressive. Very clean area and beautiful.
Druid Hill Park is very unique park alot of paths and interesting little houses and cottages thru out. Great place to exercise and jogg for those interested in a great outdoor place to do your routine. Also great place to cruise thru for leisure any day drive thru the park . Just a awesome place to take the family or a date or just to cookout or picnic.
Druid Hill Park is such a nice place to go to if your going for a walk or a jog. My favorite spot is the Reservoir but I cant wait til they get finished with the construction work.
Made for a lovely leg of a leisurely Sunday Baltimore bike ride.
Great place for a long walk with your dog!
Great place to spend leisure time with family and friends.
This is one of my favorite disc golf courses to play in the Baltimore area. The holes are, for the most part, wide open and theyve added wooded X holes to get the Rockburn or PTap experience on a hot day. The course is well maintained and there are always a few friendly faces on the greens.
CLEAN & QUIET GRASS WAS CUT NICELY
The best place to workout in the city
Can have piece of mind and do my meditation from the arts.walk mi k forms etc just like going there
Beautiful day to be in the park,. Plenty of people cooking out, picnicking, jogging brisk walking and site seeing.
The social distanceWas very great will come again for Tennis
Fresh air. Not to many people. Everyone is friendly that you pass
I grew up in Baltimore. I have always loved it just because
My boyfriend and I enjoyed the hike and nice weather. Parking was fine and everyone was kind.
Nice wish they would stop this long construction project accomplishing NOTHING
I like Druid Hill Park for its well kept track around the water. Even the little play/exercise lots seem to be cared for well. Dogs are allowed, and people seem to appreciate this by cleaning up after them, and having them behave. Also, the large tree stumps that they have turned into absolutely amazing sculptures is definitely another improvement to the land, and layout in general. The only downside is the fact that you need accompaniment, for safetys sake....BUT-- who likes to exercise alone anyway?!? They have made(and are continuing to make) many improvements to the entire park; which I think is great, as Druid Hill Park is one of our defining features here in Baltimore!
Chill space with good vibes :)
Beautiful and lovely place to walk and enjoy nature..pretty serene
I am a 4 day a week tennis player, I often come with a partner, and we can pick-up a doubles match. A fun, and restful place to play tennis!!
Great out door experience
Beautiful day for some park play!
I was driving through and decided stop to take a walk. My walk took me as far as Johns Hopkins University and back. The university is near by and students are seen jogging in the area. There is some construction going on around the reservior. Im not sure what is being done. I use to see people walking around the reservoir several years ago; but I didnt see any of that the day I was there. The park is beautiful and is connected to the Maryland Zoo. When walking, you may be able to see tourist guide with a group of people; or, the head of giraffes.
It is very nice park for the urban community
I was so relaxed from working all week! Just sitting and my chair letting the wind blow watching the people running or walking. JUST RELAXING!!!!!!
Went there for a game. It is a beautiful park, that is definitely underutilized and taken for granted.
Great disc golf courses
Decent walking trail, but part of the park is under construction.
The AFRAM was held in the park an DRU HILL singing group was there it is very nice
Very nice park.
Perfect place for a birthday party, or to spend an afternoon, or to just have some fun.
Very nice and relaxing place to visit.
Its a cool spot to ride thru
Man what happened to Druid hill park?i remember when it was a fun time just to go to Druid hill, now i dont like going up there no more, its like thw fun an the life is gone now,i dont know what they building up there but its. Crazy, now you cant run around the park in peace, come on now like really why?
While it is a nice place and the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. A mixture a bad and good. It is not always an appealing treat. The beauty of the architecture is wasting on some less desirable tenants. I haope in the near future thing will improve.
Run around the track almost everyday which is great! The park needs some work but has decent tennis courts and areas to train at. Pull up and dip bars right near the tennis courts as well!
Great Park with Playground to let the kids run around and have fun.. Have pavilions, grill set ups and porta potty.. Great Park
Been here twice for Girls on the Run 5k run with my daughter. Great experience both times, love this place it has awesome views and hike trails
Always good times and vibes at the park whenever I get a chance to visit. Yesterday we took in fun and good laughs as I went back down memory lane and talk about the future while looking at our kids doing the same things we did at our annual family reunion. Theres always something to do at the park you have basketball, tennis courts theres also baseball, soccer, football fields and when its hot you can go to the pool to cool off. Summer time is best for park goers. Enjoy.
It was great nice.
Great park. Lots of street parking. Flat trails. Some construction.
The entire park smells like marijuana and it gets super crowded on the weekends but despite these drawbacks druid hill is a nice and reasonably safe park. I especially love the arboretum and all the walking paths that weave together making for a complex but interesting layout.
Very trashy and dirty.Very disappointed
I love this park. It is a gem in this charming city. It has everything. At safety city kids can practice crossing the street. There are cool statues and pavilions full of life. Rentals are relatively cheap, but not the easiest process, as with much of city processes. The walking loop around the lake was one of the best features, I sure hope they open it up soon. I love seeing people out from all walks of life enjoying the outdoors, free gym equipment, the pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and softball fields. The zoo is also co-located here, but is not free. Its a beautiful park and it broke my heart when they cut down one of the trees to use for the mayors Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The park is huge, winding, and well kept. On Wednesdays for part of the year there is an awesome Farmers market near a spectacular conservatory where you can see live banana and lemon trees!! I love it there, a nice place to sit an reflect. I hope Baltimore continues to invest in keeping this park a place of the people.
It was good a good place to take the family and pets
I love this place. I usually go there for running or biking. With lake in the center and trees all around seems like a retreat from the city life and a good break from the day
Beautiful n Nice People
I love this park when the police mind they business
Great courses and its free
A great place to go exercise and jog.
Nice place to visit
