Its a good place to hike or just chill to get away from the city
This place used to be beautiful, now it is full of garbage and homeless people. There is garbage everywhere in this park, on all the trails, off the trails, and in the water. Its very sad, used to be a great little swimming hole in the heart of west Austin. A sad reminder of how things have changed.
Dry but fly
Im sure its a beautiful trail, but I just want to warn everyone in advance that this part of the park does not allow dogs at all, not even on leashes.
Beautiful spot! Easy to hike and dog friendly.
Absolutely a gorgeous swimming spot w the kiddos. Parking is just 2mins away
An all time fave. One of my go to spots.
Great trail for day hikes and trail runs. Links to St. Davids park. Be aware of entry permit requirements in Warbler season.
Ive been going there since I was a kid its always a good time for the family and the pets
I really enjoy hiking here. The trail is well marked and the gain in elevation as well as the winding nature of the path is rewarding.
Really, nice swimming spot.
