Went here for the first time last week for Loverboy and it was great! Very cozy space and the parking was a little chaotic but you get the idea of parking by the garage next door or the few spots closer to the theater! Wonderful place cant wait to go again!

This place gets better everytime I go there. Whenever I need fun, I head here for cheap thrills and great company. If youre not careful though, theyll lure you into their crazy family. Dont forget to take their classes, with some of the best teachers and performers in the area, theyll have you making your friends laugh.

They are a little too welcoming at Coldtowne theatre. Unless, you’re into that sort of thing. If I hear another “Welcome to Coldtowne!” again I’m going to blow my brains out before the show even begins. No children I see! That’s a plus, to say the least. Great show! Also, clean bathroom!

Our son attended the half day summer comedy camp and loved it. Its a very supportive, yet playful environment thats perfect for practicing public speaking and building communication skills. We always look forward to the Sunday afternoon camp performances. Well be back again next summer!

This place is incredible. Every time I visit Austin I make it a point to see at least one show here. Yall we Asian is a personal favorite troupe. If you like great long form improv comedy, do not sleep on ColdTowne!!

I went hear for an improv show. It was very nice. there was a by donation bar. and it doesnt matter where you sit because every seat you can see the stage.

We enjoyed the sketch show on a Saturday night. Only thing that couldve been better was colder beer and a better air conditioner, but above all else we were certainty entertained!

Their Friday stand up show is great! There are acts from around the country and even sometimes from around the world. Usually several different comics perform each with about a 10 minute set. The great thing about this is that if you dont like one comic you are bound to like another. I would recommend ordering tickets online in advance as the place is very small and often all seats are filled. Overall at $10 per ticket its a steal and a great way to spend a Friday night.

A MUST GO! it was a fun, quaint, relaxing place. Tickets cost $9 k, but before the show, they gave us FREE Margaritas and yummy candy, FREE!? Then, there was actually TWO show sets. They were pretty funny. There isnt a bad seat. It is small and I loved that part. I will go back for sure.

Place is small, but that can be a good thing in a good comedy show. However, what we saw - my 16 year old theater student could have out improved.

Excellent theater, fun classes too

First time at an improv show live, wasnt sure what to expect. The vibe of the theater was perfect for the location, patrons, and show. A small theater, about 50 seats, where you are in their face. We saw live boy who was decent, had a good flow. I liked the combined story mixed with the improv. The opening act wasnt as smooth but they are openers for a reason. Real austin theater crowd.

Friday night stand up is great. Talented comics, BYOB, intimate venue, great value. I highly recommend.

Super affordable tickets for such a fun night. Sometimes the humor in the show is slow to start, but after 2 or so scenes they really find their groove on stage and the jokes dont stop flowing. Great improv

The show was wonderful, I was there for a improve show. It was interactive and delightful. That staff running front were very friendly and a over all delight. Parking can be tight bit would for sure come back!!

What you need to know is that this place is a well-oiled machine...Everyone works their rear-ends off to ensure the performers, staff, and service are top notch. Do yourself a favor and come see as many shows as possible!

The improv groups were hilarious, and there were free margaritas! Everyone from the performers to the people watching were super friendly and everybody had a good time. I will definitely be searching out improv clubs around my hometown now

Intimate, entertaining and affordable!

Went here visiting some friends and had a great time. The BYOB concept is totally new for me and that definitely adds to the enjoyment. For sure check out all the shows and pick the one you are most interested in. We had two troupes and the first one was a little rough, but the second one was great.

We went because the reviews were really good, but it just wasnt funny. Maybe it was an off night for them.

Signed up for improv classes on a whim and really glad I did.Its been super fun, good for me and Ive been going to lots of really good--even surprisingly good--shows many nights of the week. I love the culture and the people. I only wish I would have signed up sooner.

Super Fun! I went here to watch stand up for the first time and i totally felt at home. Everyone was super nice and inclusive. The place is small, thats one criticism i will give them, but they have utilized their space 100% The comedy was great and i even got to hear a nice country song at the end! ;)

Really nice comedy club in midtown Austin. It is fairly small, maybe seats like 50 people, but it makes the shows more intimate. Its also byob!

Just a great place to spend a an evening. So relaxed and all the staff is friendly. Entrance is cheap and the entertainment is worth your time. Call ahead to find out exactly what sort of comedic situation will take place. Sometimes theyll have stand up performers, other times itll be improv groups with an opportunity to join in the fun after the show is over. Youll make friends and feel at home.

Love this local comedy club. The shows are about an hour each. It is BYOB. Shows are from 5$ -10$ mostly in the 5$-7$ range. It is mostly improv. I love how small the theater is - not a bad seat in the place. Plus the community and mingle time before and after the show is always good time. We will be going back many more times.

I hesitate to recommend this place because Id love to keep it one of my best kept secrets... but this place is fantastic. The hosts are gracious, the comedians are hilarious and you cant beat $5 open mic night!

I attended a free improv class. It was really fun. They do a sales pitch for their extended classes at the end of the free class, but its not too long or annoying. After the class, go a few blocks north and get some donuts!

After reserving a ticket for my friend, my husband and I sat down and I placed my purse in the chair next to us. As the theater became overcrowded it became clear there were NOT enough seats. After adding more seats, which meant pushing us so far into a corner that we couldnt hardly see the stage, I moved my purse to a different chair to save for my friend. Long story short, a manager YELLED at me in front of everyone NO! You cant save seats! I just added those!!!Your saving this seat for who!!? Is she here right now!!? Then she doesnt have a seat! What!?? Is she in the bathroom or something?!? If she isnt here then you cant save a seat!!!!!I am a very quiet person and have frequent anxiety attacks so I barely managed to get out Ticket at front desk. I was so upset. I felt terrible and humiliated. Then angry for being yelled at especially since I had paid for all 3 of us and it was their fault for not providing enough seats for everyone. I WISH I would have yelled back Dont sell tickets if you dont have seats jerk! I will never go here again. Worst customer service ever. Worst ever. My friend walked in 2 mins later.

I was 10 mins late and they sold my seats, which yes pissed me off but what made me really angry was the manner in which they handled us. Were sold out! Super upbeat...if youre sold out, express it in a less happy way. I dont know if Ill be coming back. I talked it up to my friend and we werent even able to attend.

I loved this place me and my girlfriend stoped by on a whim and we where not disappointed definitely would recommend it for a small quick date night

Ive seen Oh Science there a few times on Sunday and its really fun. It has a very small punk rock DIY feel for sure. The IMPROV had me laughing more then I expected especially when someone cant remember all the motivations of the scene but they get it back together in an amusing way. Its BYOB or give them a donation and they might just give you a beer for your generosity.
