I always enjoy my time at Sugar Creek Golf and Tennis. The tennis facilities are top notch and well maintained. The staff takes pride in ensuring the facility is clean and all restrooms stay clean and functioning. The facility is located in a picturesque setting. The staff is always conscientious of the needs of their customers by making sure our assigned courts are prepared and available. They also make sure we know which courts we will be assigned. It is one of the nicest public tennis facilities in DeKalb County.

First time there and I found it to be an awesome experience. Richard Degree actually know how to make you feel VIP, so professional this guy. Food court was very nice to add with wonderful customer service.

Just played 18 today and I must say I was impressed with this course. First time playing here and friends told me how nice it was. And they were RIGHT. Tee’s were in excellent shape and all the greens were top notch. Fairways were in very good shape. I usually play StoneMtnGolf and Cherokee run this course is right up there with them. Staff super friendly. I will be back..Just played course on 10-17-20. Wow what a difference a month makes. Fairways we muddy and bumpy. Greens were nice but overall course was in bad shape. Not worth the 34.00 we paid.I told my buddies and most agree won’t be back til next year at the Earliest.Too many better courses are around. Oh they don’t take cash.Customer service was good. Course doesn’t drain well at ALL...

The best kept golf secret in Atlanta. The staff is very friendly. The golf course, for that price point, is very good and well taken care of. It is near 285 (actually some of the course is ITP and some is OTP) but outside of 2 holes, you really dont notice it. Even then it isnt bad. The driving range is nice. It is a great place to play.

Had a 5K run at this location the other day. The main building was nice, but the cart paths where the run took place were not very well kept. The location is definitely of the beaten path and the course could use some general maintenance. Aside from that... the staff was nice and I may go again someday, but maybe to golf next time.

Great hidden gem. Everyone is super friendly and course is well maintained - though, there are some drainage issues here and there. Par 71 (is not on the website that I could find) that took me about 4 hours to shoot. Very challenging course with lots of well placed hazards, dog legs, and narrow windows. Bring extra balls.

Beautiful course. Greens are perfect. Fairways are plush. A little standing water here and there, but it rained the night before. Facility and carts are clean. Staff is professional and friendly. Range was open.

Whatever changes theyve made to the course are working! The fairways look cared for and the greens were IMMACULATE! I WILL BE BACK LIKE SCHWARZENEGGER!

Great facility. Resturant is open!!! Orders are taken outside and the seating outside is well shaded. Tennis instructors are professional and the golf is first class!!!

Quiet, clean and convenient, as it its directly off I-285. There are alot of trucks on their exit due to the truck stop which can be slightly annoying but the tennis courts & golf course are amazingly quiet.

New greens are in good shape but you cant stop your approach shot. The rest leaves a lot to be desired. The fairways are shot and the bunkers are garbage.

They are in the process of a renovation..still play able I think..not a high traffic place so you wont deal with a lot of people

Golf Course is closed. Grass growing over the driving range. Stop by today was was blown away that the course was closed on 3/19.Called course today and good news. The driving range is now open. Young lady said course will reopen at some point. Waiting on carts to arrive

I played Golf here back in High School. One of the cleanest courses around.

Its a great property if some money was put into it DeKalb county is letting a pretty good piece of property go the driving range has unbelievable potential wish they would do something with the property tennis courts are fine Golf Course is non-existent

Was their for my sons Tennis Tournament. Great place, I would love if they had the snavk bar open for the tournament, I was hungry

Great facility, especially for a public parks and rec center. The courts are newly surfaced and have new LED lights. Id go back again for sure.

Very well-maintained tennis courts. I especially liked the court-side canopies/awnings.

I used to play this course years ago and it was always well kept and enjoyable to play. I played today 8/12/2017 and was so disappointed. Delaney County should be ashamed to call this a golf course. It would be better used to graze cattle. I lost more balls in the fairway than wayward shots. The thatch was everywhere and the traps were jungles. The greens were covered in crab grass and the cups looked like they had not been changed in a year. The flags would not stand straight and one hole had a tree limb for a flag pole(no flag). This course should be closed and sold for development.

Pros-They have a ton of courts to play on. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the huge clubhouse.Cons-The tennis courts are in desperate need of resurfacing!!!!! Its no fun playing on extremely slick courts. My ALTA Team played here last weekend and it was extremely windy. The bottoms of the wind screens werent attached and flapping away.I will give it 4 stars when the courts get resurfaced.

Terrific staff, excellent food, and a great vibe.

The hidden gem among this long-standing Golf and Tennis Club is The Grill. A quaint little sit-down eatery offering of various repertoire of meals and snacks. I have had the pleasure of dining at this location a couple of times and I have left pleased each time! Check the Facebook page for daily specials, events etc!

A lot of nice courts

The WORST golf course I have ever played at. Imagine playing at a course where the earth had been abandoned for some time then someone thought they might play some golf at a golf course - well this is that course.Zero upkeep or maintenance done here. The absolute worst greens. Its like putting on the fairway. When you think youve seen it all, it just means you havent been to sugar creek. I played on a hot deal for $12 and it wasnt even worth that.

When I went up there on a Sunday, first everything but the shop was closed. And before I went out there I asked about a job there, I have over 4 years experience in maintenance in a previous golf course, and they said they do not need anyone. When I went out there, they had the worst looking fairways I have ever seen. The greens where not properly managed, the sand was hard as concrete and havent been raked. The cart paths were bumpy and poorly taken care of. Tee boxes were very hard and not properly sanded. Carts where in pretty good condition. The driving range was not cut, and the flags were bent. Pretty good staff they were really helping but other than that not a good course.

Nee courts, new management, new lights!! Let the fun begin!

Nice facility with family activities

Best club house food ever! Bacon wrapped cheddar dog with crazy fixins. Golf is good but dont skip the food on the turn.

The layout of this course is great, however most of the greens are almost unplayable. I believe the hole 4 green was the smallest green Ive ever seen and roughly 50% of that was just dirt. Also, clubs were stolen from one of our bags while we ran into the clubhouse for a snack, so beware. Personally, I wont be back unless I cant find a tee time anywhere else in the area.

They really have let it go over the years. Used to be a decent round of golf for the price. Simple things need to be tended to, like mowing the grass and tee boxes.

I have played tennis here since 2008 and the courts have went down hill since. The courts need to be repaired and the golf course needs to be taken care of also.

Pro shop late in opening. Greens were terrible. Price was the only good thing.

If i could give this course a 0 i would! Horrible maintenance, from the driving range to the 18th hole. Grass not cut around the tees and lets not mention the minefields they call the green! They cant pay me to come out here again! Dont waste your time or money!!

Love this place always have open courts for tennis.

Last time I was here was 2015 and it was pretty rough then...but this was literally a scavenger hunt on the fairways to find your ball. Apparently there is no superintendent. There are fallen trees throughout the course that look as if the crew said, Hey! Its quitting time! Its not as if anyone can golf here anyway.

This is the worst kept golf course in Atlanta. You can lose ball in the middle of the fairway. Thought I was getting a deal on golf now. The price I paid was way to much for this land of crab grass. Do not I repeat do not waste money on this course!!!
