Great course, have played the back tees twice here and its a challenging course. Very forgiving fairways and the layout is really interesting.

Nice course, pro shop and deli could use some work. Also yardage markers would be helpful. overall fun, challenging course. The greens are deceptively tricky.

For $75 the course should be a lot better. Tee boxes were like low cut rough and the greens were full of ball divots. Pace of play was about 4:45.The beverage cart woman does a great job! Very personable and see her about 2-3 times per 9.

The course is a little hard to navigate. The ruff needs cutting you will lose your balls in it. With a little upkeep/maintenance it could be better..

Save your money until the course gets back in shape. Played on 9/8 and it was in as bad of shape that I have ever seen. Fairways were covered in mowed grass and the rough looked like they were preparing for the U.S. Open. Several greens were also in disrepair especially on the back nine. Disappointed that the course was in this kind of shape and they were still charging the $60 weekday rate.

Best public course Ive played in Atlanta. Pretty open fairways, beautifully maintained, but a few tight ones. Tee boxes excellent. Greens are really well manicured, but strangely slow. Slopey, small greens too, so thats a challenge. A couple long carries from the Golds, and a good amount of long par 4s which are always challenging. Only a few easy holes. No yardage markers, so have a golf watch or range finder handy.Great course overall.

Unfortunately did not get to play so i cannot comment on the condition of the course.Called ahead to see if there were twilight specials so i could try to get out after work. Was informed of their Twilight at 2pm and Super twilight at 4pm.After 4pm i was told $35 for 18 holes. I also asked what the rate was for 9 holes and was told $18.Upon arrival i went to pay for 9 holes. Not sure if the lady working was miss-informed or if their pricing model needs a serious review, but i was told that to play 9 holes it would be $44 or i could pay for 18 holes play 9 and pay the $35 rate.End of the day I did not play and went to another course.

Great course and tough. Long holes that require long carries. Itll beat you up if youre not having a good day. It gets even harder it its wet. Your likely to see some animals- deer, beaver, foxes. One of the best courses closer to the city.

The course is in terrible shape and not worth the $75 cost. Our tee time was at 820 and there were no range balls available. The greens weren’t mowed. The fairways were thick and there was so much crab grass and weeds throughout the entire course. You can tell the management doesn’t care. Will never play that course again.

Ive played this course many times in the past and it was in much better shape but now it has gone way downhill. Finding yardage markers was like trying to find your ball in high grass, almost impossible. Course was poorly maintained with only the greens being pretty good. Everything else about the course was disappointing - pace of play, pro shop and food, price, yardage markers. Play another course and you will be much happier.

Course is nice, but over booked. I just played a round of golf that took over 3 and half hours to play ten holes because of how over booked the course was. We had to wait 10 minutes at every hole to tee off. It was so bad we just packed it up early. We couldn’t get in contact with a manager or anyone to get a rain check or Marshall.

DO NOT GO HERE - Situated in one of the worst areas/neighborhoods in Atlanta, this courses quality is mediocre at best, but they charge you as though you were playing a private club. It is horribly managed, and the individuals that work at this course care more about the course and making money for it than they do about the clientele that patron it.The crime rate of this area is through the roof. MY CAR WAS BURGLARIZED while I was playing a round of 18. I had over $3000 worth of items stolen from me including a handgun that turned up 3 days later after being used in a triple shooting just a few miles down the road. All items in my car were hidden away and the doors were locked. The criminals smashed my window, climbed inside and helped themselves. To add insult to injury, the criminals that committed the burglary were 13-14 years old.The course captured the burglary on video in its entirety, however, the most well-placed cameras that were essential to identifying the crooks were discovered to be decoy cameras aka USELESS. The course told me they would comp my round of golf for the day (obviously), and said I could have 10 free rounds of golf in the future for the inconvenience. When I went back to the course to claim their offer, they said they would not honor it; not only that, there was nothing they could do. Keep in mind they told me they could do nothing for me even though I had the surveillance video, pictures of the incident and a copy of the police report on hand.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY HERE. There are much nicer courses for much better prices in much better areas.

ROBBED! (Update)First the good. The course was green, had nice elevation changes and they had cold drinks in the clubhouse. Thats about it.The bad. After completing my round which was wrought with frustration at the lack of any yardage indicators beyond the tee box, and no functioning GPS units in the carts, I returned to the parking lot to discover that my truck window had been smashed and articles stolen from my vehicle. The staff called the police for me and I did my best to calmly wait for them. Upon arrival I learned from officer that this happens 5 TO 6 TIMES A WEEK THERE!!! Let me repeat that again. IT HAPPENS NEARLY ONCE A DAY!!!! I am at a loss to understand how a place which has half a dozen or more security cameras around the (small) parking lot and hired a marshal to patrol the lot has this happen. The marshal said that what happened to my truck must have happened while he was on lunch. *reckless speculation disclaimer waiver * I have to wonder if the staff isnt in on this. How can they hire someone to watch the parking lot, have multiple security cameras pointed at the grounds an this happen multiple times per week. Another questionable point is that I learned that management hasnt turned the video from several of these recent thefts over to the police. Now again I have no proof of this at all. This is just my logical mind putting 2 and 2 together and getting 4. FYI this occurred between 2:00 and 4:30 pm on a Saturday. If you know you have a problem with vehicles being broken into why not have adequate staff to watch the parking lot. At $74.00 for 18 holes I think they could afford to hire someone. So I wont be back. If you do go for the golf I hope you bring a rangefinder and take adequate precautions to hide all your valuables out of sight and certainly lock your car.UPDATE: So after a week on the phone, a dozen phone calls and the this isnt in my control you need to speak with XXX runaround, it appears that the video evidence (which exists and I was told shows the break in and the theft along with the car they drove away in) wasnt and wont be sent to the police. I dont understand that. Why wouldnt they send it? Corporate says that is up to the local club. The local club says corporate has to do it. Regardless I know there was a 0% chance that I ever get any satisfaction on this, but I am disappointed in the people I had to deal with here.

Fantastic layout. Captured and maintained my interest throughout. Course was in good condition. This course would demand double what I paid in other areas. Review №33

Im not a big fan of the course. It is extremely wide on the front nine and the back kinda tightens up again but plays very long from the tips. Driver and long iron in. The clubhouse is alright and the staff is somewhat friendly. The cons about the course is of course the location. Its in the middle of no where and Cam Newton grew up near by so definitely a negative. Another con is the horrible placements of the 1980s GPS machines that take up half the cart. It was my dad and I and the GPS robot that sat in the middle blocking my beers. You dont think this matters, well play a few rounds and you will be on my side. Nothing at this course has the wow factor. Oh, it is all bramuda grass so dont expect much roll and slow greens. Its long so make sure you get the ball to the hole.

Good track. Fairly consistent as far as course shape. The people here do a good job of maintenance. The cost is a bit high but check the normal online tee time discounters and you can find good deals. The idea, someone mentioned in another review, that this course is in some bad neighborhood is a bold face lie. Crime, statistically speaking, is lower than the area surround more prominent courses inside the city of Atlanta. Not only that but the course is surround by woods and has a very secluded feel with the exception of an upscale golf housing development (this can be seen if use Google maps). Many prominent people frequent the course and grew up not to far from the course including Cam Newton and Kasim Reed (former Atlanta mayor). Like anywhere else in the world, if you leave things visible in your car you face a potential break-in. The moral here is dont be stupid and leave things out in plain sight because if people dont see it then they probably will not decide that they want it.

My car and a friend’s car were recently broken into in the parking lot of Atlanta Wolf Creek golf course. The thieves broke into both of our gloveboxes stealing my friend’s checkbook and my gun.Because the course is not in the best part of town we intentionally parked near the “security camera” that clearly stated that there is video surveillance on property. When we went to the front desk to ask about the camera footage, he informed us that the camera was fake, that this has been going on for two months and that we parked in the spot where cars are getting broken into. Two months, eight people robbed before us. There were no signs in the lot to warn their customers not to leave items in their car or that break-ins were occurring. No action to put in a working camera to help counteract this type of activity.I called Warrior Asset Management, the company that owns Wolf Creek, and they told me I should just call my insurance to handle my loss and I should have been more careful knowing that I was playing golf in a high crime area. The thieves are now armed with a stolen gun. Wolf Creek is off my list of courses to play in Atlanta Georgia.

Quite a good course for the $33 we paid. The greens are not quite as well maintained or rolled as the practice green was. The course is TOUGH. The rough is quite deep, and will eat up your drives if you hit them poorly. The greens are fairly small, so it takes a good approach shot to score well.Looking forward to playing here again.

I unfortunately just had one of the worst experiences Ive ever had playing golf at this place. I cant blame it on the staff but actually was one of the regulars. I had the first tee time for the morning and when I started I was group with 3 guys who I guess play here every day. One of them, without even saying hello, ask me how do you play? To play with him a little bit I said, I hit it and I hit it again that I had it again. Then he said, How good are you, we play fast.So I knew exactly what he was insinuating. And that type of arrogant posture by golfers pisses people off. And from what Ive seen his game so far Im much better than him but I hate it when these dudes, because theyre regulars, think they own the golf course and nobody else should be out there.
