One of my kids favorite spots to swim. This area is just right for smaller kids too. Weve been there when theres been a good amount of people yet its never been too crowded and weve never run into a problem with any of the people being too rowdy Etc. Always a good time.

Great place to take a dip in the river. Bring some trash bags please and help keep it clean

Best park in Asheville.. Well tied with Carrier Park.. My 3 year old loves it and theres so much to do for all ages toddlers to adult.

A beautiful place. Several spots to go swimming at. Also has a pond and dog park. Lots of things to do there.

Not what it used to be. Tore down the wonderful playground Castle. Nothing but soccer fields. It used to be a favorite place.

The creek is near by. And great for rafting and fishing

Wide open beach fun! This is a social Mecca.

Sadly has been washed out with the flooding over the years. What once stood a wonderful playground is now empty. They have ample places to walk, as well as soccer fields, but make sure that it isnt flooded before you go.

I always love it.. I usually start up at the top swimming hole, hang out,cookout. Then Ill tube or. Swim with current further down to secluded spots so peaceful. Great place to enjoy company of others with privacy..

A took us a while to find the beach and the part of the river with the rocks in it that you could sit on, but it was worth the wait. It is so beautiful here. You can swim and fish or do both. There is also a small wading pool area for the little ones.

Very pretty park. Had soccer fields, a pool, a wildlife center, a public access to the river that was a nice looking swimming hole section, and looked like they had a dog park too.

Great place to walk

Great park with soccer fields, a play around and covered tables. Looks like they are doing some construction but it is coming along nicely and if you go on a Sunday (at Least in my experience) youll avoid the construction). If you go a little further down the road (Id recommend driving because the sidewalk ends) youll find Azalea dog park and a lake for fishing. Such a nice area in East Asheville!!

I enjoyed my day at the swimming hole. I am pleased that this area has been cleaned up so well. It is a beautiful and fun place to visit. Its great for people of any age. Its great and safe for the family. I recommend it for everyone to check out

My dog loves to run and play with other dogs and their considerate owners at the dog park. However, after a nasty winter the park is in disrepair with huge mud puddles, which I must admit my dog loves but I dont, holes and patches of mud and dirt. Benches are dirty. Will there be any repair to this dog park?
