This is a beautiful garden and well maintained. Best time to visit is during summer and spring time. The blooms are so amazing that i can stay here all day long. They have also the biggest greenhouse with thousand of variety of plants. Its a gets crowded so if you want some good pictures of the flowers, come early. We come here may be 3 times a year. Highly recommended. The view of the flowers is very soothing to your mind. Sorry i have tons of pictures.
Spring is definitely the best time, if you are just visiting the gardens. Summer and Fall are great to visit the entire grounds, so that gives you most of the year to enjoy the grounds around Biltmore. Great for a weekend stay, or just a one day visit or date. If you are also visiting the mansion or winery, then anytime is a great time at Biltmore.
Outstanding roses, loved the different smells of the different colors
The Biltmore gardens are magnificent. At the moment they look amazing because there is a Chihuly exhibition. The conservatory is well worth a visit, amazing plants that I haven’t seen before. There is a lot of walking involved so come prepared. Bring water and sunblock if your visit is in the summer. Time your visit so it’s when the flowers are in bloom. They have a wonderful rose garden (home to almost every class of rose) and Azalea garden. You could spend at least half a day just wandering around and appreciating the beauty. Frederick Law Olmstead, regarded as the father of American landscape gardening, designed the garden. He also designed Central Park and this garden was really the pinnacle of his achievement.
Absolutely fascinating views and exploration of every flower and plant possible. A breathtaking experience, full of color, life and beauty. Nothing will ever compare to the days spent in this heavenly estate.
So beautiful right now with all the vibrant colors but today I came to see the garden railway display. Amazing. Made of all natural materials. The replica of the Biltmore took over 1700 hours to construct! Fascinating and quite magical
Surprisingly gorgeous - definitely worth a look. I planned on skipping this and Im so glad I didnt.
We have been here before to the Biltmore washer and the gardens but Id always been here in the winter because I really enjoy the Christmas celebration at the house. we walk down to the Rose garden and I was just absolutely impressed with everything that was in bloom and beautiful and in the hothouse as well. I look forward to coming back in the springtime so beautiful.
The rose garden was beautiful, we visited during the Chihuly exhibit so there were also some amazing glass installations around the garden. It was truly stunning.
Arrived at gate wanting to ride through the garden on way to winery at 7:28 pm to view roses. Website states garden open till 8pm and phone representative earlier in day stated the same on call earlier in the day. Gate attendant said garden was closed. And gate was across drive up toward house and garden. Been a Passholder for 6 years and never had this happen. Don’t wast your time wanting to view in cooler evening hours on way to dinner. Very poor customer care in this regard!
Easily the best garden in Biltmore, try no to get to close as the thorns look a tad sharp.
When your visiting Biltmore, you cannot not go see the gardens. Hopefully you get lucky and are there in spring or summer when it is all in bloom. Immaculately maintained and would go back again to get more pictures and take in again. Awesome place to visit.
Come here and get lost
Beautiful and attractive
The gardens are amazing, been before a couple of times. Went to chihuli nights last night, was beautiful but underwhelming. Only 16 pieces spread across the entire property, dont get me wrong worth seeing but I expected more
Beautiful rose garden
This Rose Garden is majestically set up and divided so that your senses are pleasantly surprised and excited at every turn. With over 250 varieties of roses you are bound to find at least one that you love. The garden is well maintained and have roses from around the world. Simply stunning.
It is always a pleasure to visit the Biltmore rose garden. The gardens at the Biltmore Estate are always beautiful during the growing season. In the spring the tulip and roses beds are spectacular and so are the azaleas. The greenhouses are always a delight to visit.
Ive been going to the Biltmore estate for 22 years now. Stumbled upon it back in 95, been coming back when I can ever since. Beautiful house and grounds and great winery. Their restaurants are great too. We liked the area so much that we got married there in 2014 in the Champagne cellar. They have concerts in the summer and I saw Rick Springfield in 2009 and 2016 and was in the front row. Cant say enough good things about this place, always beautiful and relaxing.
Absolutely beautiful!
We had a chance to see how the rose garden was pruned. We are looking forward to returning once all the roses are in full bloom.
