Asheville is a great place to visit if you enjoy art. There are a lot of galleries and artist’s studios in the area. My favorite gallery there is Bender Gallery. They are a step above the other galleries in town, representing a group of artists that are creating truly inspiring art. The owners are very knowledgeable and have a lot of information about their artists and the art they show. I will be following this gallery on a regular basis and plan on purchasing something from them soon.

This gallery has a stunning collection of art. Walking inside, I was immediately struck by how beautifully everything was arranged, lit, and how incredibly captivating each piece was. I could have stayed for hours. This experience made me want to save all of my money to invest in pieces from here. I cant wait to return next time Im in Asheville!

We visit Asheville on a regular basis and never miss a visit to Bender Gallery. Their stable of artists is absolutely incredible. Years ago, our first or second visit at their original location, we purchased a small piece. it wasnt much and we are hardly big shot art collectors but Miles and Bernadette couldnt have been nicer. They always remember us when we come in, which is a nice change from the revolving door of employees at many galleries. We really appreciate the attention and if they arent busy, one of them will always show us the newest pieces, or artists they have. We will definitely get another piece from them, when the right thing catches our eye.If you I have the time and collect art. By all means, go in.

Fabulous art pieces, especially the glad sculptures when we were there

Went in with our kid in a stroller. Apparently the owner doesn’t allow strollers in his shop. Must get a ton of business to turn away people with kids. The good thing is we were able to walk through every single gallery in Asheville (with equal price points) with our stroller and no one had any issues. In fact we were greeted with friendly smiles. It looks as if the reviews on this gentleman who owns this establishment are pretty consistent and accurate related to his demeanor and attitude.

Highly recommend Bender Gallery. They have curated an incredibly beautiful collection of creative glass art and paintings. So much of my husband’s and my reaction, especially to the glass is “How did they do that?” Miles Bender is happy to share his deep knowledge of “How”. He has a passion for the artists and their work that the gallery represents. If art speaks to you, you may find something at Bender Gallery that gives you pleasure. Worth a visit.

Absolutely stunning art throughout the gallery! One of the best galleries I have visited.

Not a very friendly environment, nasty attitude, would not look you in the eye when you asked a question, and made you feel uncomfortable.Now Im sure the owner will dispute this comment. but I would suggest taking a Dale Carnegie course and admitting maybe its me and my staff.

Amazing gallery, beautiful and innovative.

An amazing gallery....stand out amongst the many galleries we visited during our time in Asheville. It was well laid out with some wonderful work by the artists represented. The owners were very knowledgeable (and very friendly...so am surprised by some of the other comments); I can speak to their knowledge as my wife used to work at a glass sculpture gallery, knows many artists in this field personally, and currently works as a museum docent...she was very impressed by the owners.

The guy on the front desk had no charisma at all which is required when running a bussines, and the attitude was awful!! I was there a week before and had spotted a beautiful piece that i was ready to purchase until i got kicked out because my son was with me. A better attitude would be very helpful! So we walked a couple of shops up the road and sure enough we purchased exactly what we were looking for. Highly do not recommend going here

A must see! They have stunning world class glass sculptures! Breath taking!
