It’s a nice place to watch the river and fishing. Enough parking.

Right along the French Broad. The entrance is only wide enough for 1 car to enter or exit. Busy road getting into the park because it is right near the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Arboretum.

Great park! We went to the arboretum and then stopped here and had dinner. It was very peaceful.

We took a few mile detour off the interstate for a meal break. The river view is nice, but it’s not much of a park. It is a gravel parking lot along the river. There is only a one lane entrance/exit off the two lane road to get in. There was a line of barrels and caution tape immediately after the entrance dividing the two ends of the parking lot. In the middle was a sharps collection post for drug needles. There were a few picnic tables but they weren’t in good shape. It seems to be a local fishing spot, as the only other patrons came with poles or rafts. A few other cars entered while we ate from our car, but they immediately left after seeing it.

Could be a great park but its overrun with garbage. Fine place to take out a kayak or tube but not to hang out.

Good view of the river and access to the Arboretum trails and BRP trails.

Open space for rafting and other water sports. Dog and kid friendly.

Great place to just spend some time either watching the river or going down it

Chill and quiet. Some bougie trout in that pond. Park outside the camp gate at the trailhead 10ft away for free and walk in. They dont care.

Great place to put in to do some kayaking.

The remodeling of the parking area has made this a much better location to park and access the river.

We go fishing here sometimes, its very beautiful here. Even when its cold out! I dont even mind the bears that go through there. Walking trails and nature. Is all you need!

Ive only passed by here several times and live just 2 miles away but this is a great place for camping, fishing and canoeing/kayaking. Also, a great place for photography.

We love it, we stop here to relax and say bye to Ashville. We see people in kayaks, picnics or just getting wet.

They added porta Johns which is great. Very convenient for the river, the arboretum and Bent Creek Experimental Forest.

Good spot to put in a kayak and right down the road from my apartment. Cant beat it.

Parking is a bit speratic but a nice shallow launch area, clean grounds too.

No restrooms put a dent in a park used for river activities, hiking and cycling. Also observed a drug deal under the bridge, make this a park to use with caution and no valuables left behind.

Gotta love the sharps container here. After you shoot up, you can toss your syringe in there.

They call it a creek . I would call it a river. Locals said the fishing was great . Bass,pike and trout multiple pan fish. Tubing and canoeing.

Simple, looks like it would have a nice nature walk. Good place to stop in to eat and/or get out and stretch your legs. Clean and nice view; access for the river.

Love this park, I go here anytime I need to get away for a minute or two. I love walking in the woods through the trails here. Even when it rains and floods the entire place, its a magical woods.

Always a fun fishing spot, but it is mainly a boat ramp and parking lot for the shut in and MST

Loud car noise from road overpass. Mostly a parking lot and canoe/kayak/boat launch.Nice little Creek for kids, if you an ignore the noise.

This is a surprisingly nice little park. It appears to be where locals come to hang out in their cars when they dont want to be at home, but everyone was friendly.

One of the best put ins for the Biltmore section of the French Broad.

Not much room since the State got greedy and leased the upper area to a tubing company and the fish dont bite ! Lol

Great place to start a run into Bent Creek or up Mountain to Sea Trail. Can put Kayaks or floats in river.

We stopped here on out road trip for a picnic and were treated to a great view of the river. There are picnic tables and and hiking paths

Close to work for my lunch break and beautiful views. But crowded on weekends.

Too much commercial rafting/kayak traffic. Hard to get in and out of the park and the commercial companies are eroding the ramp/launch area where Bent Creek meets the French Broad.
