Very good park, everyone always compliments the dogs! Very positive environment. I have been going for about 11 months. People usually are the nicest people ever. Besides the people who leave there dogs poop behind and dont watch there dog. Otherwise very good! I recommend going!
I have been to this dog park for more than once. It seems odd to me that the pen area for small dogs are bigger than large dogs, and at times I see owners letting their large dogs into small dog pen. I have a small chihuahua mix and gets annoyed when their large dogs come near my dog. I prefer the Central Bark in Grand Prairie, they have better lighting and more appropriate sized pen for dogs with equipments for them to go through and climbing up & down.
I really liked this park! Its really clean and spacious. I also love how they have the large dogs separated from the small dogs.
One of the best dog parks in America that weve been to. Half of the park is in forest and the other half is field. There are benches and lighting at night in a of the park.
Great well-maintained dog park. Usually lots of dogs for our dog to play with with wide-open space for dogs and seating for humans.
Nice shady park to take your dog for a run. Trees everywhere and it’s a nice big space. Easy to social distance here now too, in times of coronavirus. It’s shady enough even for a hot day. This is a great dog park. Wish it was closer to my house.
People for the most are respectable with their pets. I love the trees and there are plenty of benches in shade!
Nice facility, just drove by to check it out before bringing my fur baby.
No restroom!!!!!It is the most beautiful and nice park I have been but I would rate five stars if there are some public restrooms here. There is no problem on Monday through Saturday ‘cause I can go to library and shelter next to by walking, but there is big problem on Sunday; every places near by close on Sunday so there is no restroom.
JUST MOVED HERE FROM COLORADO THIS DOGGIE PARK IS REALLY NICE. ALOT OF SPACE, SETTING IS WARM & COMFORTABLE, ONE SIDE FOR SMALLER DOGS & LRG. DOGS HAVE A NICE SPACE! LOTS OF SEATS & PRIVATE AREAS! WALKING SPACE & AT NIGHT THE LIGHTING IS GREAT PEOPLE ARE NICE & KIND, BUT THATS WHY YOU TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE PARK RIGHT SO THEY TOO CAN HAVE SOME FUN TIME! 10-2020
I love taking Maxion (Mason) to this dog park. He has been coming since he was 6mos old. Now he is 2yrs old. Social Distance is available because it is ever spacious with a trail inside or outside the fence. PLENTY OF SHADE. TREES ARE EVERYWHERE.
Our dogs love coming here! Big park for them to run and everyone is so responsible of their dogs
Blue had a good time even met some new friends. I think this is me and his spot from now own
Love this social doggy park. Lots of trees for shade and lots of space to run. A fenced off place for the large dogs separate from the small guys. Water spots and even benches for people to lazy on. I frequently visit.
I love this place! But be aware some people bring their aggressive dogs. I went with my dog and another dog attacked my dog and knocked his tooth out. Otherwise, its a nice park.
Large dog park with several separate areas. Benches for the owners in the shade. A wooded area with paths to walk while your dog friends check out all the trees! Seems to be prevalently responsible owners but occasionally you get one who seems clueless. But usually........the dogs are happy and quite friendly!
Always a great place to hang out with my dog and friends
Good park to take your Canine to but, watch your step as there are Landmines from where some owners didnt pick up after their animal despite bags and disposal bins being conveniently provided. Open areas for playing fetch or the wooded section at the back is great for agility running between the trees. As with all dog parks; please keep an eye on your animal and ensure it is behaving properly.
A very nice huge dog park nearby the Arlington Animals shelter. They could keep more lights in the night.
Great park. Very large with open and wooded areas. Plenty of shade. Everyone was friendly, dogs and humans on our visit. Would be nice to have a restroom for the humans but you can use the Shelter or library if open.
Never been to a dog park but I really think this is an amazing one. It has human & dog water fountains. Poop bags with trash cans throw it away. Its good size with trees. And there are fenced in areas for large dogs & another for small dogs. My bf dog loved it & so did we. Plus fish creek trail is there next to the park. We will be back!
Beatiful, our dogs had lots of fun.thank you.
Great place to walk dogs, with larger trails and play areas.
Love taking my two dogs here! It is sectioned off for big and small dogs. Each section has a wooded area to wander through. My busy bee tries to find squirrels in the woods, but there are no squirrels foolish enough to hang out in the dog park- doesnt stop her from trying though. There are water spigots and usually extra toys to chase and fetch. Great way to spend some time with the dogs and exercise.
Fantastic dog park, great location
Looked like a very nice dog park but they were closed over the holiday. Nice concert walkways for a run or just a nice walk. Would have liked to go in the dog park. Seamed clean.
Lots of room and a wooded area.
This is by far the best dog park that I have been to. We have take our dogs here twice and they seem to enjoy it. The park is very large and quite safe for them. There are many trees in the back that add to the variety of space that they can explore. The bike/walking trails near by are also quite nice. From out time here it seems that the other owners are monitoring their dogs who are well behaved. We havent seen and fights or and out issues that could arise.
Best dog park Ive been to yet. We have tried a ton of others....NorthBark, Central Bark, Ft. Woof...Tails N Trails beats them all. The off-leash wooded area with walking trails along with the smaller park area for play time makes so I can bring my dog here and enjoy off leash time whether there are other dogs here or not. Very well kept and beautiful. Lots of sitting areas and lots of shade.
One of our Favorite parks in the country. Large, LARGE wooded area fenced in wtih trails and space to run. Also open fields filled w well behaved dogs and pleasant owners. Must visit.
My dogs love, love, love going to this park to play with all the other doggies. Plenty of shade and fresh water for the dogs. Clean and well maintained. Great place to commune with other dog lovers.
This is my dogs favorite park. There are good people here and a large space for the dogs. The back area has shade trees and there are a lot of benches. Dont expect water for your dog at random times as the park shuts the water off frequently no matter the heat. People will buy water or bring it for the animals. There are tons of flying creatures so bring the bug spray to use on yourself before going.
My dogs love coming here! Its usually pretty busy, and my dogs get to play with a lot of other dogs. The park is separated into three parts - small, medium, and large dog areas. The park is pretty clean, and kept up with regularly. There are also trails outside of the park area where you can walk your pet.
Super Spacious and just updated
Get to make new friends, everyone is very friendly especially the regular people. The park is big enough so our fur babies can run and play!
Great run. my dog really enjoyed running through the forest area. Such nice shade and the park benches really help. it would be nice if people picked up after their dogs. Piles of poop all along the fenceline. Other than that, what a great park for our furry friends.
This place was amazing. My little baby had a blast. There was plenty of shade and fresh water for the babies. I wish we had places like this in my home state of Tennessee.
Best dog park in the area. Separate large and small dog areas. Water and poop bag stations.Plenty of room with grassy area and woods.People benches so dogs can put their pet humans down to rest.
I am giving this 4 stars because my dogs absolutely are crazy about this place. If I mention dog park they go crazy and I cannot get them leashed up fast enough and in the car. They will not calm down until we are in the car driving to the dog park. As soon as you are enclosed in the fence you can let them loose. It is completely fenced with a forest area with lots of trees. After rains it can be muddy and slippery. Take my advice do not where sandals. Wear tennis shoes. They are open until ten pm each night. If you go in the evening make sure you spray with Off. Mosquitoes are really bad in the evening so cover your arms and legs. My dogs love to run here so it has become a daily stop. The regulars that come here are very nice people with very well behaved dogs. And to my surprise this place is very busy at 0630
This place has a very nice space. However beware many people at this dog park bring unfriendly dogs usually aggressive pitbull’s That are Not trained or socialized. As always dogs usually reflect their owners personality and there were not very many friendly people at this park at all.
Mesquite trees everywhere. Beautiful and well maintained. Just all the thorns worry me.
Nice, big open area with lots of shade.
Great dog park. Small dog and big dog areas. Potty bags available all over the park.
Nice dog park, have two fields for large dogs and small dogs they swap between to keep the areas nice along with one nice shaded wooded area for each size in the back. Also have dog bags, and trash cans along the fences, constantly tennis balls laying around, and water hoses for them to get a drink from. Also if you plan on getting a animal they have a area you can bring yours to let the pound dogs meet through a fence.
Great space with lots of room for exercise. Never had an issue with any of the other dogs and the people are friendly too!
I liked that there were some small trees in the back lot - it made it more interesting than other parks weve been to. A good supply of poop bags (which was good because I lost some). It wasnt muddy even after the rain from the previous day. Nice benches and water for the dogs. Great place to spend the day when the weather is nice!
This place is great, you know it’s whimsical and fun!
For the fist time 1/7/19 I took my beloved dog to Tails N Trails. WE WILL NEVER COME AGAIN! There clearly are signs stating the rules and yet some people dont feel that rules apply to them. A family arrived shortly after I did with a dog that clearly should have been on the BIG DOG side according to height and weight but instead they had the big Husky on the small dogs side. Then shortly after that a family comes with what appears to be 2 identical Pitts that were clearly aggressive even before entering the small dogs area. The dogs were small enough in size but to aggressive for the other small dogs. It wasnt 5 minutes and the 2 dogs were attacking another dog. Its wasnt one of the Pitts it was both coming after this dog. The parents of those Pitts just stood there and watched. It wasnt until the parent of the dog that was being attacked had to scoop her furry baby up and yelled OH MY GOD that the Pitts parents even walked over. Just my opinion but those 2 would have been able to hold their own in the BIGGER DOG AREA. I decided to leave and I could see that others started to do the same. RULES ARE MADE FOR A REASON PEOPLE, PLEASE FOLLOW THEM!!!
Great dog park! If youre interested in walking through a park setting with your dog off the leash, this may be the place for you! When you drive up, the park appears to be a regular open play park, just like many other dog parks you visited. Wide open space with seperate entrances, and play areas, for big and small dogs. We have large breed dogs so, I can only comment on the big dog side...Behind the large, open area dog run is an awesome walking trail with plenty of (kamikaze) squirrels for you pooch to chase! The trail maybe a quarter of a mile in length (ish) on the big dog side. This park only has one small negative imho: the park is so spread out that, when a dog owner who isnt teaching their dog proper pooch etiquette, an aggressive dog may hassle you pet more so that when at a park that isnt so spread out.Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy taking you dog to play with others!
I love this park. This should be the mod for more dog parks. It has a big dog side and a small dog side, and a sign to help you figure out where your dog fits size-wise.They have lots of room for dogs to run, great shade, plenty of open space for fetch or frisbee or other dog running activities. The dogs also have a wooded area where exploring adventures can happen, and squirrels can be chased. The squirrels are wily though; they know just how to mess with their canine friends. There are watering stations for the dogs, doggie bag stations and poop disposal areas. For the humans, there are plenty of benches and shade where you can break and let your dog run free. The human water fountain in the big dog area doesnt work, so bring a water bottle.
Great place. many trees for shade. sections for small and larger dogs. not recommended for cats
This was a huuuuge doggy park, it was nicely separated for little fur babies, and large fur babies.. and it was clean. Check it out!!
This is the best dog lark we have ever been to!
Weve just moved here and we like this little park. A real bonus are the trails around the park. I only wished there would be a dog wash/spray down station outside of the park to get our happy dogs somewhat cleaned up before the jump in the car. I like to thank everyone for keeping this park clean and so enjoyable... ️
Great place to take the doggy. Always clean and plenty of bags for clean up. Separate areas for large and small dogs. Also there is a separate trail if you just want to walk around.
Lots of room for my dogs to run. Large wooded area with shade and an open area to play fetch. They keep kiddie pools available so the dogs can cool off. Very nice place to let your dog interact with people and other dogs.
An excellent dog park. Compartmentalized for size and allows for dogs to meet between fences. We like taking our dogs there.
Good dog park!!!My favorite part is the woodsy trails. The dogs really liked running around in the woods. Lots of really nice people. Only reason it didnt get 5 stars was the water part. There was only one bowl and one spout for all of the dogs which inevitably had one dogs front end in it. We were there at about 1ish on a Friday and there was a medium number of dogs.
Great place to take your dog so he can interact with others. Could be a little larger but nice.
My dog loved it, even though he was the only small dog there at the time.
Best dog park I’ve been to. Respectful group of owners and dogs. Fun place to meet new people and socialize your puppy.
The park is great. Be on the watch for a young blond woman with a young black lab in a green/grey or brown harness. Her dog relentlessly attacked my dog. Her and the men with her had no control over their dog. If I see them at the park again I will call the police.
My dogs love the park they get to run and play with all their friends and I just get to watch and fill the water for them all
This is a well made dog park. There is plenty of space for both small and big dogs, there are many benches for everyone, much shade for sunny days, a forest area, the fences are well maintained, there is a trail right next to the park, and the water for the dogs is clean. However, it would be nice if the park was open 24 hours like the one in Grand Prairie because owners have different schedules and can only take their dog out at certain times. The park also needs better lighting at night.Overall, I would recommend this dog park over the other public dog parks in the area.
Great place!
Awesome park never seen such a huge place for dogs. Dogs and owners are very friendly. Whether your dog is little or big it does not matter they hve a park for both or you can go where ever they want to go big side or little.
Im from out of town and staying in for about month while working here. I discovered this place in a Google search and am glad I did. My 70# 12 year old labmix is even happier. It is the perfect antidote to being stuck in a hotel room day after day.It is made up of several large well fenced spaces, some for large dogs, some for small dogs, some clear open fields where the dogs play chase, keep away and fetch to their hearts content. Others are enclosed woods where the people and dogs can ramble or sit on a bench and do whatever. The dogs organize waves of games of tag chasing one another until the another chases the one. Water is readily available. The park is well lit and well maintained and well used. It is also to be noted that the people who bring their dogs here are a community that encourages to clean up after their pets. Walk here is a delight and not a worry.
Ive never been to a dog park before because Ive always had dogs that will didnt like other dogs but I brought my 6 month old lab Shepherd mix to this dog park and he really enjoyed himself was able to let go some of that puppy energy that I just dont have the yard for him to do here at home it was a little muddy but thats because of rain got to expect that but it was big enough area it seemed to be clean theres plenty of poop bags stations around I will probably bring my dog back
For being the 1 of 3 dog parks in Arlington, its spacious and sufficient for a dogs to fun, with two sections a forest for the adventurous and a plain for the social meet up. Although, it would be better if people didn’t always trash it with cigarette buds, wrappers and not picking up after their pets.
Very nice park. Wooded area for all of the wonderful dogs! Two separate areas one for big dogs and one for small dogs.
I enjoy this dog park but of course I go on a Tuesday morning and it’s closed until 12pmbecause of the mowers ugh also had a bad incident when a young girl brought her two big dogs one a pit bull onto the small dogs side and didnt care when her dog got aggressive with mine. She refused to go to the other side I told her I was gonna report her inside the pound center of course they didnt seem to care and said it was parks and recreations problem. Next time im calling 911! Overall most experiences have been good though!
Took my dog for the 1st time she had a blast and the dog owners were so friendly
Rules are clearly visible, there are plenty of balls, provided water & poop bags, & a divided section between Small & Big dogs. All the necessary ingredients for a solid dog park!
Great park for the pups! Big open area with lots of trees and trails.
Great for the dogs. Fairly well maintained
Great dog park with a really great, large, fenced-in wooded area for dogs to explore!
Shady enclosed tree trails in the back are the main attraction. Small and big dog sides
Best Dogpark ever! Absolutely love it here and most importantly so do my s
This is a huge happy place for all dogs, big and small. There are different sections to explore, plenty of benches for humans to sit on everywhere, a fun water fountain and the people I have met have been very friendly and fun too! Thumbs up from me!
Asides from the occasional over protective owner that feels extra entitled and yells at everyone else, I love the community here. The people are so nice and it doesnt matter if its your first time there or not - you and your furry companion will be treated with warm welcomes. For the most part, the majority of the park is clean and just about everyone picks up after their dog. I imagine the majority of what isnt picked up is because the owner simply didnt notice. Anyways, fun place. I highly recommend it!
This place is awesome! Great people and atmosphere, plenty of room for the doggo to run, and tons of friends for her to play with.
Absolutely wonderful!!! Wish I lived right by it. Beast dog park ever. My dogs are addicted
