Great, unexpected little Vermont Park in the middle of suburbia. parts of it almost look like an old growth forest with almost no underbrush, but Im not exactly sure about that.it can be dark and cool even on a hot summer day which is nice, not so nice on a cold day. it does have a little playground but the main show is simply the woods in the rocks in the little caves. Ive seen coyotes there, harmless and pretty cool. theres a little fetid pond, perfectly nice for walking around and feeding ducks which youre not really supposed to do :-). Ive actually crossed country skied here, but its pretty small. wonderful rocks and hills for climbing. highly recommended but please dont overcrowd it :-)

One of the cleanest park that I have seen so far.

Review №17

It’s pretty but why is there 3 baby swings and only one big kid swing? Disappointing for our 7 yr old, he asked if the park was only for babies? Feels kind of baby/toddler centric as anything else around here giving nothing much to do for the older kids. :/

This park used to be the best place to walk dogs and hang out, but now they are way over the top strict about dogs remaining on a leash at all times which truly destroys the enjoyment of being there.

This is the total package, just a wonderful place if youre looking for happy. PROS: Its peaceful and calms the kids down. A place for all ages 1-100 yrs and up. Great get away if you just want to read or meditate. Walking trails with resting benches in/around pond (winter ice skating) ducks and turtles, beautiful species of birds, shaded swing/ slide playground construction, large open field for ball playing & activities, picnic area, and ITS FREE...CONS: no outhouse, limited street parking.

I love this park. Its great for little kids to walk and play in. Its also good for dogs, but there is no fully enclosed area.In the winter, the neighbors set this pond up for skating, and some of the big stones have been cut into seats so you can lace up your skates.

Despite signage requiring dogs be leashed in the woods, I always encounter loose and unsupervised dogs on the forest trails. As a person with a disability and service dog user, this is dangerous and entirely negates my enjoyment of the public space.
