Really nice park. Can get a little crowded and busy but all in all a really great park for all kids big and small.

Lovely park with several different play areas and structures for kids. Including slides, swings, picnic area, climbing stuff. Lots of street parking too.

Large area for younger kids with lots of equipment including a sand feature, area for older kids, ample picnic tables and lots of benches scattered throughout, fenced in, street parking.

Very beautiful, I took my 3 year old and one year old to play with the sand at 4, weather was hot but it nice there under the trees shade, lots of other options suitable for toddlers too.We enjoyed it alot

The park was renovated just a few years ago, so its in good shape with lots of climbing structures that young kids love. The park is designed for small kids up through middle school. There is a very nice water feature the kids love. There are lots of trees providing ample shade for benches. Only street parking is available, the parks one short coming.

An awesome park with a great sand lot. Really fun playground equipment, almost always a lot of kids to have fun with our 3 year old. He asks to come here a lot.

This place is huge. A play area for little kids and one for big kids. Two tall blue slides that looked like they would be fun. However they were both boarded up. Luckily hes smart so he just climb them from the bottom to slide. Has a lot of used and broken toys like meadow lane park. The best feature was the 50 foot sandpit. Thats where the action was.

Great playground for all ages. Well shaded. We like to walk down and watch the baseball or soccer games at Yorktown

Perfect for kids of all ages, even the little ones who are just starting to walk. Two play areas, soft rubber surface, plenty of shade, sand pit, and sit-on/push vehicles. Plenty of street parking. Many tables and benches for lunch breaks

If youre looking for a really nice park in this area, this is the one you want. There are lots of trees creating shade for relief on the hot sunny days. When I went, there was plenty of street parking. The toys at this park are not new, and starting to show their age, but, this park is still well worth it.

Took my 2.5 yr old and baby today. Loved this park. It has sand area where kids can play with sand and water, there are some obstacle course for kids. There is slide baby and big swing, many benches. The coolest part is all the bikes and cars just laying there for kids to use. Lovely place

Good place to out in a kayak

This playground has everything except a Splashpark. Nice big sandbox, a water feature, swings, and a climbing area for up to 5 plus another space for older kids. Nice that the space for the 2-5 is mostly shaded at least in the morning.

Very cool playground! Creative sand play area and water feature is unique. nice balance of equipment age levels.

Tons of stuff to do. Gets busy during the summer, but the kids always love it.

Great playground

A wonderful park for kids all ages! There is a big sand box, wooden tunnels a kid can also climb on, two sets of swings, big blocks similar to the ones at the Building museum, a big jungle gym, and even a short zip line. Besides the big and wonderfully equipped playground, the park has a wooded area that makes it really a park rather than just a playground. On the back, the park is bordering Yorktown high school, which continues to the beautiful vista. The only downside is that there is only street parking available rather than a big parking lot, but I didnt have problems finding a spot during my visit on a weekday.

Nice park. It has a sandbox that the kids enjoy a lot. A like that have good big trees so, it gives good shade for summer days

One of the best playgrounds in the DC area. We tended to come when the weather wasnt too great (snowing or cloudy or getting ready to rain) and almost always found it empty. There are seasonal restrooms down the hill after the football and basketball grounds.

This park is awesome its fully fenced-in its beautiful its eclectic there lots and lots and lots of things for kids to do and its also a drop off point for parents who have little cars or buggies or shopping baskets for children to play with very cool place,nice place to meet other parents or grandparents

We call it the land of broken toys, but in a good way. Plenty of folks have donated all kinds of the things to the park in the way of extra toys. Our toddler loves it.

Nice shade in the toddler area. Large sandbox with discarded toys. Lots of other push and ride toys to choose from. Good number of swings and places to sit. The older kids play structure is in full sun, but had lots of places to climb and slide.

This is our favorite park! So many things to do for all age groups. Playground for toddlers and an area for older kids, as well as courts and paths for the little ones to practice on bikes!

Great park. Theres a big sandbox with plenty of toys on site. There are plenty of activities for kids of all ages and ability. Parents are, for the most part, relaxed and welcoming.

Park is divided into two sections. One aimed at younger kids, around 2, and another for older children. The younger sister has rubber composite material for a soft ground surface. It includes a large sandbox and lock and dam system for water that is great in the summer.

If youre a red blooded American seven year old who loves swings, seesaws and like the tallest slides ever then this park is for you. (Google wasnt around in the 80s so this review might be dated).

Wonderful fun park with lots of activities! Our 2 yo loves it!

Nice playground with some all tricicles and other stuff, the playground has a fence so kids are protected from the street side.

My kids love this playground- great for age ranges toddler to bigger kids, 10ish.

This is one of the newer parks in Arlington. Its got a water area that connects to the sandbox next to the play area for young kids and a separate play area for older kids as well. Another interesting thing is all the toys people leave here for everyone to use.
