Absolutely love this place. It has a very huge lake and people can fish there. Its got shaded parking in some spots for those who to just hang out in the car or are disabled. People can fish. The folks out there are friendly and pretty much stay to themselves. The sunsets there are one of the most amazing Ive seen. There are a lot of people who come out just to see the sunset. You have a clear view of the sunset over the lake. Its got a boat ramp but you have to pay to play on the water but everything else in the park is free. Its not a place to spend the night or RV because they shut down around 10:00 p.m.

Bowman is a great park. It has a boat ramp, a pier for fishing, plenty of benches, a basketball hoop, a playground, and a pagoda for parties. Plenty of room for the little ones to run wild, and fairly wide open to help parents keep their eyes on them. Surprisingly clean restrooms as well.The city could do a better job at picking up trash at the waterfront. I understand thats not as easy as it sounds, because as soon as you pick up trash, the lake washes more up. Still though, some of the trash has been there awhile.Watch out for the squirrels. Theyre surprisingly brave, and very curious. They WILL steal food if you turn your back.

After living in the area for many years, this was my first visit to Bowman Springs Park. I found it to be the perfect spot to watch the sunset. For boating lovers and boat owners, there is also a boat ramp.

Nice big park with playground and boat ramp. There is plenty of parking and its a little off the main roads so theres no noise from traffic. A walking trail encompasses the park but you can also stroll right throughthe wooded area. Lots of picnic tables and a great view of the lake make this an idea spot to enjoy nice weather.

There is a nice park next to the boat ramp plenty of parking. You can fish or just lays around. Nice view of the lake. No bathrooms.

Great place for the family caught a few fish threw them back because they were small but had alot of fun and so did the kids will definitely be coming back!!!

Great place. I usually go here to meditate and enjoy few moments with myself in peace.The park is nice, the lake is soothing. There are tables to have picnic with family as well as ramp to launch boats and jet skis. Alot of people usually come to take a walk or fish. One of the gems in Arlington.

Its was very Kool but I think they can add a place for people without boats to fish but other then that I like it

My wife and I got married at the spur of the moment and found ourselves at Bowman springs Park to perform the ceremony... Very big park with lots of trees and plenty going on... Many people utilizing the boat access to the lake... Lots of things to do here...

This Park is fantabulous...Great path to walk on, loads of shade trees, the Lake is outstretched to your imaginations delight. Ducks, Squirrels, Birds galore...Lots of covered picnic tables and a great boat ramp...️

This was my 1st time visiting and it was nice. Its a good place to fish and launch a boat, if you have one.

Its a nice park, lots of shade, and a great view of Arlington lake.Boating is allowed, although swimming is not.Great park for get togethers, and for barbecue!Great fishing too...but the fish are smart and it takes a dedicated fisherman to outsmart the fish...are you up to the challenge?That park for all your recreation needs, and a childs play area, to bring your children for hours of fun and relaxation.Come join us get a spell, well leave a spot for you to park...and most people are real friendly...as long as you dont take their fish.

Beautiful little place great for picnics or fishing with the family

Honestly it’s pretty dirty and the lake is dirty as well, but our pups don’t mind! Just wouldn’t recommend to eat the fish that come out of it or have people swim in it. It also floods but it’s really fun honestly because all the people who have trucks we sit in the water and just chill all day and fish or do whatever. Love this place!

During the Pandemic, the kids and I will make lunch or get drive thru food and then head to the park to watch the ducks and eat. This gets us out of the house, but still staying safe.

Nice park. Boat launch is tricky with no docks or tie-offs.

Calm lake ruffled by the breeze with calm fisherman and calmly swimming duck. the sky and lake are of same color and reflect the calm cotton cloud.

Awesome lake, huge, has many many many things to do, you can walk with your pet, run, make barbecue, play single games fishing, and many other things.Great place for family.

A couole of friends of mine put together a group to clean up parks in Arlington. The park was shady. Lots of trash cans. There were ducks and squirrels.

Nice place. We had fun kayaking there ... too bad the wayer was so dirty and green.

I love the lake view here. We come to feed ducks here and enjoy the weather. Small place but very good and lovely.It gets very crowded in the weekend. I would recommend visiting in the week days better.

I like the park because its there! More and more cities are requiring you to pay to get in, its nice that the city is providing this for the citizens. Nice family environment, fishing, boat ramp, basketball courts! Only thing that would make this better is that it was BIGGER!

Beautiful, well-maintained lake park with clean restrooms!

I had a great time. The lake is very peaceful, the area was nice and clean. They have places to barbecue. There are places to cast your line if you have fishing gear or ramps if you want to bring a boat. There was a nice paved trail around the place. It is a great spot to take the family any day of the week. I am sure I will enjoy going there many more times. If you are looking for a nice lake spot try this out.

Its so relaxing. Just sitting at the park and enjoying the area. The kids play area is really clean and nice maintained. Walking along the water youll see some fishes and crabs. A really nice place when you want to relax and take a break.

Great park! Bathrooms with soap and water! Plenty for space for kids to play. Pets are on the leash. Lake views add to the allure.

Fishing, boating, picnicing, wildlife watching, people watching, leisure strolling- whats not to like? Theres a large gazebo for group picnics, benches to sit on and enjoy the lake breezes, wide, cemented boat ramp, 2 piers, a playground. Something for everyone. And dont we all need a bathroom now and then? Come on... you know you do. And a B-ball court. Dont forget the B-ball court!

It was truly relaxing

When you go early enough in the day, take some nuts of any sort... The squirrels here come in groups to be fed. If you just sit still and wait for them they will come and take the nuts right from your fingers, its awesome... And they also claim its the best sunset found in Arlington... You be the judge.
