This park was a lot of fun (I had a Freudian slip and typed sun) when the weather was not hotter than blazes, and the night I went I got lucky since a severe storm blew through a little before game time and cooled everything off nicely. The hotel looked really neat, and the food choices were fantastic. Hopefully the new stadium will be just as good as this one, but maybe not as hot. I loved the playing of Deep in the Heart during the game, it is such a fun tradition. Cheers.
Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel distanced when our local high school football game was played there over the weekend. The employees were helpful when I had a question. Just be prepared and leave your bag, purse, camera backpack, etc... at your house. If it doesnt fit in your pocket, you cant bring it in. Luckily I had jeans on that would hold my gigantic wallet/wristlet. I was able to bring in my camera, just not the bag. You can bring in 1 SEALED (they check the seal) water bottle per person, or there are concessions available.
Fun ballpark to catch a Rangers game. Going to miss watching a game here, but the new stadium looks like it’ll be first class, looking forward to next season. We try to attend a game or two at Globe Life Park once a year, always enjoyed our time here. Now theyve built the Texas Live across the street, theres even more things to do around the area and avoid the traffic going home!
Nice facilities.. they did a great job keeping people aware of protocols and watching live sports was great!
Looked great from the outside. There was no game so I didnt get to go in. Did go to Texas Live tho. Visited the new Revolver brew pub. Outstanding selection of experimental brews on tap for your enjoyment. Some will be offered for general sales one day I imagine.
The concession food was sub par at best. Still a clean nice facility
Great city great people. Loved it
Lets get back to rocking and rolling with the great American past time of baseball. I do enjoy this cool stadium and even though the rangers havent been the best lately, I am still a die hard fan!
Amazing facility. A must for baseball fans!
First time ever being here. This is a beautiful ballpark. Cant wait to watch the Rangers play here.
Very nice set up for alternate use. Great for high school football games. Fix the PA system cant understand it . Grand Champion Lamar ViQueens.
Masks required and groups (pods) were set apart from each other. Blocked off seats were strapped closed. Its as safe as going to a restaurant currently.
Must see ball park, great atmosphere, fun place to visit.
I give Globe Life Park in Arlington (Home for the Texas Rangers) located at 1000 Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX 76011 FIVE STARS. What a great baseball stadium and with so many incredible food options. This will be the Rangers final season at globe life park and Im glad I was able to watch a game before they move across the street. Haha.
Attended a college football game at the park. The fan experience was awesome. The person playing the music during the timeouts was outstanding!!!! Friendly staff in the park. First class venue.
Nice Stadium, Nice Location..Right Near Cowboys Stadium & Texas Live
Absolute blast watching the Renegades play. The stadium is beautifully modified, clean and welcoming and such a great environment. Season tickets for us next year. Cant recommend enough. 10/10.
Still a Great Park, used right now for Minor League Soccer. Probably cost more to open for the Venue, compared to the amount of fans attending the games. Not really sure what they plan in the future with the new Indoor Baseball park & AT&T Field & The Other Arena all together in this mega complex area, but still a beautiful Baseball Field!!
Went to check the Fletchers pop up truck today. Got some Corny dogs, funnel cakes and some Fresh Lemonade. Credit only, no cash . Mask required. But oh so delish!!
Glad for the new park, interior is amazing, and the fan experience should be second to none!!
Its a beautiful stadium with all the extras to further make your visit exciting and memorable.
Went to the 2020 World Series and had a wonderful experience!
Nice state of the Art baseball park with lots of food and drink outside close by. Plenty of sports to watch on Tvs in all the food and bar areas.
Great stadium, great restaurants nearby, had such a fun time! Perfect for couples and families
XFL FOOTBALL! DALLAS RENEGADES VS HOUSTON ROUGHNECKS! It just doesnt get any better than this! Excellent Family Time! Great FAN ATMOSPHERE!
Went to the Trinity vs Lamar football game on Thursday the 24th of September. Sat on visitors side. Seats and video score board were great but the sound system was terrible. Could not hear or understand the announcer or referees at all.
We went to see the newly renovated stadium that is now the home of the Dallas Renegrades Football team with the XFL. I was very impressed at all the work that was done and the way they constructed the field of play. The game was very good, even throw Dallas lost due to multiple turnovers. What I didnt care for and didnt understand is the ticket pricing. We paid 158.00 for 2 tickets to be able to watch the game. I noticed and if you look at my photos the second and third decks of the stadium are not used. I was shocked at how high the tickets were especially when I realized there was so much room and it wasnt being used. The parking was 30.00 so that turns out to be a pretty expensive day and thats not including food, drinks and a souvineer. I hope very soon that they open more seating to allow for some lower priced tickets to make this a more family affordable place to go and just affordable for anyone that wants to go.
Very nice looking park. I also thought it was easy to get to my seats compared to some other ballparks.
This is a great stadium. Ive always wanted to go see the Texas Rangers play, but they remodeled the playing area into a football field. They had the first college game there today. A great game that went into overtime. SFA beat ACU 35-32. A great ending to a great game. I was privileged to help work the game on the sideline as the SRA.
Went to a game in 2019, the last year of the old Globe Life. I have to say I was impressed. The stadium was huge, as expected. After all, we are in Texas! Security was relaxed and I had overall a good experience. I do think a downtown location, or including more of the Arlington area into the stadium, would have gotten them a 5 star. Cant wait for to see the new ballpark!
I had a really good time there I really dont think theres a reason for them to tear it down but oh well. The seats me, my dad and my sister had were pretty highly rated but that means that it was very crowded and was very very hot/ humid but I dont know that might have been because everybody wanted to see this game but other wise it was very enjoyable. There was plenty of food and merchandise stations and it was just a huge stadium. I had a great time and I hope yall do if you go there.
Went there for senior walk and High School game. So much social distancing I felt comfortable.
Excellent Place!! Were here for My Sons Graduation!! Proud of Luis Antonio Juarez Grimaldo Colonels from South Garland High School Class of 2020!!
Great atmosphere. Had issues with the tickets as the original game was canceled due to weather and when clarifying the game time at will was given bad info. Had to buy more tickets, since we had already paid for parking, trolley ride etc... i would go again but this time we too a major loss!
Nice facility but food and drink are way overpriced and not good at all. Employees were all nice, especially Simon who went above and beyond to help my husband in a wheelchair.
Enjoyed my seat! The stadium is comfortable because the stairs are not that steep. Great game food available. Parking good. Security great.Loved the closing show!
This is the old Rangers stadium..the new stadium is being built next door. Be prepared to pay for parking $10+. Most of the seats have a good view of the field unless you are on the 3rd level. When taking young kids, try and find a seat in the sections near the batting deck which is protected by a net. Otherwise pay attention to the game and watch out for fly balls.
Very cool, right field no deep no balls :(. Not the trop
Because the world series is where i worked at and when you get a break from the concessions you get to watch the game and it gets rowdy in there and alot of drunkies there for sure when they get ready to leave thats why i go home early so that does not happen. I would recommend this place to anybody when the place opens back up.
It’s a beautiful park, it’s a shame they are moving to a newer park soon, but oh well that means more memories and another chance to catch the Yankees at a new ballpark. The staff was super great. I loved the energy one of the vendors had, really livened up the place. Opposing fans were super welcoming as well. All around a great experience and I definitely want to see this park before they close it.
Beautiful area! Lots of things to do. Great place for the family!
Great time. I always think things are pricy and this is one of those pricy places I think. O and the nachos sucked lol...
When youre looking for certain types of food, it does absolutely no good to ask anyone because if they dont work that, they dont know it. When they have a special or promotion going on, the employees will have ZERO clue what youre talking about, it will blow your mind . Dont leave your section, you will get yelled at.
Theres extreme organization in how they manage large crowds. The police are very friendly and helpful and its a gorgeous park even though its the last season for the ranger before the new park goes up. Its been a great run of many memories here in Arlington, but heres to the future.
Just as I remember it. Its a great place for a family get together
Nice setup, but Ill have to wait until they open it up fully in order to see if its something that I enjoy more than the 94 stadium
I loved it! Have wanted to visit since it opened in 1994. Beautiful park. Friday night fireworks to boot.
An amazing ballpark! Plenty of parking available, every seat is a good seat for the price you pay. Affordable family fun. Make sure to check the calendar as they offer many different “days” such as dollar dog day, dollar ice cream day, autograph day etc. The ballpark also has several games per year where they give out merchandise such as large bobble heads, t-shirts, hats, bags, posters, etc. very generous. There are plenty of bathrooms available, with that said you do not have to walk too far from your seat for relief. There is plenary of food and beverage stands, literally all over. The food and drink pricing is compatible to most sporting events, though significantly cheaper than a “NFL” stadium that shares the same zip code. It is easy to purchase food and beverages without even leaving your seat. There are plenty of vendors that walk the stands delivering a wide selection of frosty cold beverages. When parking there are several areas to choose from. You can park on one of the ballpark lots, or park a little further away and use a “parking service lot” for a cheaper price. If you plan to do this make sure to give yourself extra time. It can get very hot during the late summer months, day games (especially in the Lexus terrace along the 3rd base line) so make sure to stay hydrated and WEAR SUNSCREEN. The Texas Rangers will be moving into a new covered stadium soon, so I suggest catching a game here while you can. You won’t regret it.
Hate to see it go. Remember being there for the 1994 season. Its a great ballpark with styling of old classic parks mixed in. It can be pricey, but its always a good time. I hope they will find a good mixed use for it so it doesnt go away. I can understand the need for a roof with Texas heat.
It was my first baseball game in 29 years and I thought it was absolutely amazing! Literally felt like a child when I walked into the stadium. And since its the last season in this stadium, I took thousands of photos!!!!
Good variety of restuarants and bars. Place gets packed on game day during football season, so remember to rsvp tables early
Great sports bar. Plenty of restaurants and large screen TVs
Great first experience at the just updated football field. Great seats and view. Still not done switching over signage or have all levels open but what they got done in such a short time is well done. Game was great. Loving spring football. Go XFL.Second Renegades game was fantastic. The crowd was a great mix of Renagade and Ruffneck fans and there was a lot of colorful fans enjoying the game. We had a guys game out and everyone loved it. Mumme is the man coaching after he broke his leg in a sideline collision. Thats just double tuff. The game whent down to the wire. Got to love the action. Dunbar and Artis-Payne can tote the rock, now they just need to find a qb. The Ruffnecks have theres PJ Walker is a Mini Maholms. Keep slinging it PJ. Worth the watch everytime. They are playing for the love of it like the tag says.
There for a high school graduation. Thank you City of Arlington and The Texas Rangers. Its climate controlled now yeah. I do like brick but A/C in June.
Great view. At night. No age restrictions
Dont let the outside fool you. The inside is just as architecturally pleasing as the older ballpark if not better. WIFI access points strategically placed for continuous access. If you cant get access, get a new phone.
Amazing base all field
This place is amazing! Grandkids had a blast! It is a very big place and there is lots of walking. I want to go back soon. I see they are bldg a new one with top. I hope they recycle everything they can out of the old one. Ty.
The park is amazing. The final game in the park was a big win. Future events at the park will be exciting. The upper seats are a bit windy however the lower seats are super humid. When buying tickets to an event or game always look at the seat compared to the sun (time of day). Doing this will improve your experience. The new stadium will be have a retractable roof so weather reports and judgment will help. The higher you go up the closer the seats with leg room and your knee is in the back of someones head verse lower seats your knee is behind the seats.
Not sure if this is worth anything but we went to the last series of rangers baseball in this park. One day we sat in the Lexus club. This club is not air conditioned. It was 90+ degrees, dry and with an unforgiving sun. The only areas with ac in this section are small one room stores which some were closed. The last game of the season was in the all you can est porch. It was cheaper and much better with ac, family restrooms (if old women and large men dont use it) and all the popcorn, soda, peanuts, nachos, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and burgers you can eat. Its in the outfield but there was no sun and lines were manageable.
My first ballgame experience! I loved it! Rangers vs. Astros 11 Innings! Crazy amounts of Nachos! And so much fun! A little rain from Barry didn’t stop this ballgame. We had to visit before the season was over. Globe Life Park, thank you for your years. 1994-2019
Sad this ballpark will be gone. Its still a great stadium with lots of life left. Surprisingly it was very clean for a ballpark. But summer baseball was hard to sit through with temps in the 100s. A lot of great memories here this place will be missed.
Great time! We enjoyed all you can eat seats in section 247. Seats were great. Food was excellent. Games was superb. We will definitely be back!
It’s my first time to watch ball game in Texas. It’s easy to purchase the ticket by the MLB app. Also I purchase the parking. It’s very easy to find my parking site, and we have time to look around the field. Also buy something food and some memento. Then I can take my time to go to my site and enjoy the game.Wonderful time in Globe life park.Hope the new filed is also great!
An enjoyable time -- everytime.
Its a really nice place to hang out and watch a game on the big screens they have available. I enjoyed myself!!!
It is a nice Ball Park #HowdyRoughnecks
Beautiful place for baseball! Not a bad seat in the house. Lots of good food including these boomstick dogs!
Had a great time watching high school football
A stadium with blessed memories and fun. Sad to see it in its last year. Never would have known the stadium was as old as it was truly maintained extremely well. Lasting and forever made memories with family and friends. Thank you and looking forward to continuing to be fans of the Rangers
Only needed three seats was forced to buy four for social distancing purposes for an ENTIRE EMPTY ROW to my sons high school football game. Card only, card machine wouldnt work to buy my four tickets for nearly 30 minutes, had cash, wouldnt take it, missed the opening of the game. Not even sure why they played there. 58 dollars to watch my boy play football, would have better at the school field. Wouldnt recommend scheduling this for next year.
Was great to be there for their 1st game . even if all I could do is listen from outside
Cant believe they turned it into a football field but nice
This place is in my own opinion a historical place that is ASTONISHING really our School took a tour and it was amazing props to Don our tour guide she did an amzing job explaining and showing us everything she told us about the nee building that will be right across the street
Enjoyed seeing Sir Paul McCartney there. Parking outside the ballpark was the pits. Closest lot was $45 per car.
Good service good place to eat and enjoy the texas rangers game
They sold me a ticket for a seat that didnt exist. Apologized but made absolutely no effort to correct the problem. Had to sit on the stairs.
It was actually for a Concert in the Car featuring Pat Green. Everyone there had a lot of fun. Great idea.
Looks really different than what it used to look like when it was a baseball field. Has a lot if changes done to it to have a football field in it now.
The hour long tour was awesome. The building is great. It is a great new home for the rangers.
Wish the parking situation was better, but once youre here its a really cool experience. The ballpark is nicely distributed in space. I am hopeful that the new stadium keeps all of the good stuff and perfects the rest.
Fairly new installations, this place is the best definition of a Texas size sports bar
This place is amazing. Its like one giant adult play ground. Of course during the day its kid friendly. You have many different bars & restaurants under one roof with massive TVs and entertainment. Very fun place!
Nice ballpark. Kids loved it. All you can eat seats are pretty good
Love going here. Never have issues and its a great place to enjoy Baseball and family. Sep 2019 last game and season ending to be played here.
Attended Timber Creek High School graduation at the park and it was a beautiful event at a fantastic facility. The park is gorgegous and I cant wait until my next visit there!
Still love the Ballpark in Arlington. It does get chilly in the early spring and hot as snot in the summer, but it’s a great ballpark. It won’t be long before it’ll be gone and we’ll all be in 73° stillness with no fly-overs anymore. *tear*
We had been here for baseball, but it was also a great place to watch a football game.
This is a nice Ballpark #HowdyRoughnecks
Brand new park. Wide open. Plenty of food options and tons of bathrooms. Went and saw The Dodgers win it all !!!
Love the ball park! Really a terrific stadium that does not have a bad seat in the house. Ive been to alot of the new stadiums and the ballpark still completes well. We will be hitting a lot of games pt there in its last year. For the first time, the food was pretty mediocre.
I grew up with this stadium. Always have a great time here with family and friends. Always well kept and clean, and the staff is always kind and helpful. The food keeps evolving and hard to turn down; the loaded tater tots from the Chipper are hard to beat.
Great stadium, Texas Rangers house. New stadium being built next to the old Globe life Park. May be this is the last concert in this venue will be missed
I cannot believe this place is being replaced. I have been to several major league ballparks and while this one isn’t iconic like Fenway or Wrigley it is very well done. I’ve been a few times and not had an issue with parking or difficulty getting in and out. The food and atmosphere are great and it’s nice having the Texas Live venue so close to hang out before and/or after the games. I will be sad to see it go.
Oh my what an event. The Christmas lights are fabulous and breath taking. This was our second year in a row to attend and cant wait for next year.
Wife loves the Rangers..we went today to watch the Rangers play Houston today..love it..we love the seating and the price for the game is very reasonable and the weekend crowds are good..
