11/10/20I enjoy coming here to speed walk and run here with my wife. I find the scenery around here beautiful and relaxing. I especially like running/speed walking near the water.Since coming here this year, I am seeing some familiar faces, as we pass each other on the trails. We just might come back here tomorrow for another walk/run.

This garden is gorgeous! Its not huge but has many different types of roses that smelled heavenly! I went towards the end of September and there were still lots of flower. The park has some picnic tables and a large green area where people were playing sports.

There is a nice play area for smaller children. It was a great for for my 3 year old but my 7 year old was a little big. There is a lot of green space to run and many paths to walk. The rise garden would be beautiful if we were in season but the fall places were great.

Pretty nice park. Not a whole lot of bench/table combinations to sit and eat but ample benches to sit. We did go prepared with our mat so that was really good. Enough parking available too. Just adjacent a amazing trail.

Wonderfully maintained rose garden. Lots of old varieties to charm. Could use an updated playground with more shade. A hike toward 66 reveals an even older playground with loads of shade.

I have been to better rose gardens, but I havent been to a better free one in Virginia. A nice assortment of roses that are well cared for and labeled. Definitely worth a small stop on a late spring or summer day. There are also remind courts and access to local walking and biking trails.

Wasnt really in the park but a bench across the stream along W&OD trail. Guy had a chain problem, stopped to try to help, thought I had a chain tool, someone else came along that did, then someone with a Master link but problems, bent link, drop rivet, maybe mismatched chain 9 link for 8 speed chain, hobbled something together but broke again further on. Called it on time guy with tools supporting his son riding to Purcelville, and thought he needed the time to get to Leesburg much less bbq ...

Blissfully beautiful rose garden located in the hustle and bustle of Arlington. I was leaving an app in Falls Church, and I wanted to escape the city and avoid rush hour during the late afternoon . My trusty four legged companion and I walked the grounds of the rose garden to a stream in the middle of the park. Didn’t realize how much acreage Bon Air really held till we walked around the loop where there were cyclists, runners, and dog walkers alike dotting the trails . Every turn there was new forestry and scenery to be engulfed in. Truly a sight to behold . Stayed for a good two hours watching the sun set on a higher part of the hill overlooking most of the garden. There’s a playground for younger children to enjoy as well as a tennis and basketball court on the premises. Parking and directions were a breeze and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Good energy and flow was abundant, wonderful surprise to a long day.

Playground technology has come a long way since I was a kid. Back then we had to make due with a couple milk bottles and a stick. At this park there are all manner of places to swing, climb, and hang. And yet, thanks to clever designs, its difficult for the little daredevils to get hurt.Nice work, Arlington!
