The folks there are very helpful. During corona, Master required and they check your temperature if you go into the visitor center. We took the trolley tour: fun and informative; masks required, yet social distancing was not enforced. Fortunately, I sat next to a window that opened and was able to have fresh air.
My wife and I visited Annapolis for a weekend in December 2019. We stopped by the Visitor Center early on Saturday morning to see if they had information on the sites. We were greeted warmly by one of the staff members who gave us an information book and gave us suggestions about what to see that day. Her suggestions and the book were very helpful in helping us plan our weekend. I recommend a quick stop at the Visitor Center to anyone visiting Annapolis.
Great tour. Very informative.
Everyone in here is very helpful. Their knowledge of the Annapolis area is fantastic. Even if youve been to Annapolis before, stop in here to find those out of the way places to see.
Best place to get information about Annapolis. Janet, one of the crew members helped me and gave lot of information on the places to visit in the area. Very friendly and helpful. Very clean place.
I was looking for Shuttle bus routes and time information..It took them a little while, but they found exactly what I needed. Then the drivers where a bug help, getting me orented.
In Annapolis Tues, leaving Thursday & visitor center is only open Thursday to Sunday. No help to me. In a tourist town, cant believe it is closed on some weekdays!
Great place was there only for the day. Will go back for a longer time.
While the collection of county services are conveniently located within a central location and building, the attitudes of most staff are little to be desired. There are a multitude of politics involved with employment and recruitment methods while favoritism runs rampant. But the actual services provided to the citizens of those who live within the county are stellar!
Very nice old city, many original houses. The Main Street has many local shops and restaurants. The harbour near the city center is nice too. I love this city! The only problem is the parking: maximum two hours in the parking near the harbour. There are a few parking garages (one is behind the visitor center in West Street), they can be full on Sundays. I didnt see these parking garages clearly indicated. Free parking near 7-Eleven at 611 Taylor avenue, 1.0 mile from the center of Annapolis.
Very friendly folks who are very resourceful. They have plenty of maps and guides for you to take and use as you plan for your activities around Annapolis. Clean restrooms too.
We visited Annapolis for the first time. Our first stop was the Visitor Center where two friendly women were there to answer our questions. We had tried to schedule a bus tour online but it showed as full. However we were able to sign up for a trolley tour at the center. It was a one hour tour for only $18 (cash) and was well worth it. Annapolis is a beautiful, clean, historic city and we will definitely visit again.
Kind and friendly staff.
Great information about the town and places to visit..
A really nice visitor center & parking garage. The folks in the visitor center were all very helpful. The garage was a good parking option, not cheap $11 for the 4 hours we were there but Ive paid a lot more for less in other locals. A 15 minute stroll to the Naval Academy and way less traffic coming and going than parking closer.
Good place to start your visit to Annapolis. They have three stations that are staffed, and each staff member is knowledgeable about the area. All the recommendations that we received very good. If you plan on walking around Annapolis the parking garage beside their offices are the best place to park.
Very informative. Free visitors guides and maps. Make this your first stop when you arrive to Annapolis.
Good in helping from the volunteer prople. Thanks for your volunteer.
They were very helpful. Pleasant
Super helpful and friendly staff
The town is awesome as always. Been here multiple times.
Did a little tour while there in Annapolis and this was part of it. Great tour.
Loved it. Beautiful place.
Horrible parking deck. Did what we were supposed to do and paid for parking before getting back into our car. Waited in line over 30 minutes to leave and then got charged 2 more dollars. Lines were backed up because the machine was not accepting credit cards. No attendant. A lot of frustrated Visitors. Never again.
Good place to start. Larger than it looks inside. Has bathrooms, lots of brochuresand maps, and people at desks that can help you. Nicely decorated interior. The trolley and walking tours start here. Had a couple benches to sit at and a drink vending machine. However the machine was sold out of many drinks and was exact change only (none of the drink prices were even dollar amounts, you need nickles or dimes and quarters). We were here for a watermark tour. Has a small conference room too.
Gave great information
