Low key but very informative on a beautiful campus. On a sunny day take the time to walk along the riverfront.

Naval Academy... feel humbled by sacrifices made by true Patriots...must visit...

I had an awesome experience at the US Naval Academy Visitor Center, gift shop and grounds when I visited Annapolis recently. They have a very informative video about the most recent class and I am glad I watched it. I did not have time for a formal tour so I toured some of the grounds. I saw a wedding party come out of the chapel which was touching and memorable.The gift shop is a must see and has some great items. The view of the United States Sailboat Show from the Naval Academy grounds is also a must see. Highly recommend this and thank you for your service to our country!

Its an interesting place to go and observe how is the registration, and life of the cadets, as well as the history of the USNA and all the activities, sports and benefits it offers.

This was a great tour with a lot of interesting information! I enjoyed it and was able to ask a lot of questions. Being new to Annapolis, it was helpful, and like I said, very interesting!

Visitors center for the historic US Naval Academy. Provides guided tours of the Academy grounds - our tour guide was fantastic with sharing the history and giving us a glimpse of life at this 4 year college / Naval officer training facility.

Visitors center was very informative. We went on a self guided tour. Be sure to plan your visit to see the noon meal formation. Don’t miss a tour of the chapel and the crypt of John Paul Jones.

If my parents had brought me here as a high school junior, I would have competed for a position here. I was pretty hot stuff back then, but I would have been swept away by the challenge, prestige, and honor of the Naval Academy.This visitors center would have been the gangway to that indoctrination. The exhibits are enticing, the staff friendly, and the daily pomp and circumstance of life at the Academy does just what its designed to do: intrigue the nations most promising to answer the call to duty.So I wish Id come here earlier.

A pleasant visitor center complete with a NAVY brand store! The guides at the information booth are very friendly and helpful. This is the first place you must visit when checking out the Naval Academy...unless you are a graduate, or have a friend/family member here!

This is a great place to stop by to learn about the navy history and what they do. I have learned a lot. Parking can be a hassle.

Check-in for the facility is a rigid 4 pm (no exceptions). If you go to the bar to kill some time be prepared for $8.00 beers. Otherwise the overnight stay was okay.

Enjoyed the weekend visiting the Naval Academy.

I visited the Gift Shops museum display area on 1 JUN 19, and an individual who was behind the counter told me to leave the building, because I had my Emotional Support small dogs with me, (10 and 18 lbs). I am in active duty and my dogs were prescribed by a DOD psychiatrist. The old man was aggressive and threaten me to call the base police if I was not leaving the building right away. I went to war many times and as a Naval Officer, I was insulted in a naval installation. He asked for my dogs license (?) despite that I told him they were ESA. I will place a formal complaint, so this will not happen again.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. They gave us great directions and helped us find things the kids would enjoy. We will stop by again the next time we are visiting. So much to see in Annapolis.

Theyll answer any question you may have about Annapolis, and their shop is fl of really cool stuff... but expensive!

I recommend to check it out online prior to visiting in person. That way you have a good idea of what you want. Especially if you have a limited amount of time in order to select gifts for yourself and/or others. I didnt have a lot of time so I had to rush.

The United States Naval Academy is a large four years undergraduate school by the Harbor where students graduate with bachelor of science degrees. The area looks beautiful and is quiet with sailors and tourists strolling around. There is plenty of yachts in the Harbor. While my family and I spend a few hours strolling around, we noticed that there were less traffic on the narrow roads. Our visit here was just wonderful.

A great look into the naval history of the US, as well as a behind the scenes journey into the life of the many young men and women who decide to commit themselves to preserving Americas freedom. Well worth a visit. Thank you to all of the incredible people who have made the sacrifice to allow us the freedom we currently enjoy.
