This is an awesome playground for bigger kids, really maybe 3 and up. I honestly would play on it if I werent concerned about possible weight restrictions and these old knees! There is a lot of climbing for them to tire out on! There are a few tables for lunch in the shade and benches for adults to watch from a distance. However, there isnt much for tiny tots to do except swing, slide and a few other little things to tinker with until they are more confident with their physical abilities. There isnt much safety railing because its really geared towards older children who know to be careful with heights. I take my 15 month old and help him through and hes starting to enjoy it more so I still recommend taking them. Enjoy!

This park is awesome. Great for the lil ones. Grand sons first birthday. No cleaning up just putting trash in dumpster.

Super great park! We stopped by to kill some time and ended up picnicking and enjoying some time on the swings. They have soccer fields and baseball fields too and while we didnt do much exploring it looked like a few paths for joggers and bikers. If we lived closer wed be making a lot more visits.

Me and the kids love this park! We love how the ground is foam covered underneath the play structure and the large soccer field has plenty of room for the kiddos.

My 4 kids loved exploring this large playground. I even ventured up the large boulder in the center! It has just enough danger to challenge kids, yet I felt like they were safe enough. We loved the roller slide, too! Theres a nice walking path nearby to go hiking through the trees.

This park is absolutely fantastic I would highly highly recommended for all ages there is a giant parking lot but usually is not that busy so kids can ride bikes through there with no problem there also is a giant playground which has everything a kid could imagine its lifted up off the ground theres a rock mountain swings pause monkey bars its a really awesome I go here a lot with my kids there also is a hiking trail that goes all the way to Huron River through the woods it is also paved in good for riding a bike through or just a nice peaceful walk this place is great and I will continue to use this facility on an.

Nice park. There really isnt much to it, so unless you were coming here to use the softball field or play structure you probably wont spend a ton of time here, but it is nice none the less. The parking areas and pathways are well maintained and the park overall was very clean which was very nice.

Its a wonderful park, when its open. Ypsilanti township doesnt bother unlocking the gates for its residents for 6 months out of the year. Pretty lazy if you ask me.

Nice park for picnicking attended a picnic hosted by a neighborhood church with free food for all attending. This church holds this picnic on a monthly basis. I believe it was the Nazarene church of Rochester Hills

An awesome play place with lots of different pieces of equipment to keep kids entertained.

Pros: Excellent accessible playground with multiple slides, walkways, and musical toys. Rubber ground covering at main play structure, woodchip covering in swing area. Large soccer fields, plenty of room for kite flying. Large parking areaCons: No bathrooms beyond a couple porta-potties, very little shade (even in picnic area), there are a few grills and picnic tables but they are a ways from the playground making watching your kids difficult from the table. There is an opening in the barrier that allows kids to climb on a fake boulder but it is a falling risk for younger toddlers/preschoolers. No shelters.

The structures accommodate a wider range of ages and abilities than many other parks, there are wide open green spaces, plenty of parking, and its all well maintained.

Soccer fields can be flooded during rainy season. Great fun playground for the kids. Baseball field in clean and plenty of parking. Bathrooms are a porta potty. Bring your own tissue paper and hand sanitizer.

Awesome, huge local park. Plenty of sports fields: baseball, soccer. The soccer fields are popular for kids community teams. Great playground; large, fairly modern structure. Its the first play structure Ive ever seen thats specifically designed to be accessible to all kids regardless of physical ability or handicap. Great for all ages. My 1-year-old son loves this park. There are baby swings, as well.

Love this park! Were so lucky to have such a great park near our house. The playground equipment is well maintained and offers a safe play place for even the youngest of kids. The nature trails are great - we use them all year round!

My 2.78946 year old (as of early 2018) loves the playground. My almost 30 year old self lives watching him enjoy it. Ok, fine, I go down the slides too.

Nice park for kids, but no shade

Soccer softball and baseball park with a relatively large play area for the children. Parking is adequate for all the activities although you might have a short walk for the big softball tournaments. I personally enjoy playing organized soccer here with the Ypsi Township League

A nice park for a sunshine day. It has a huge kids play area, soccer field, dog walk, running trails and football field. It gets crowded during weekends / evenings. Access is from Textile road, ample parking . If you are bug phobic, carry your bug spray with you in the evenings.

Its a nice park with a blacktop trail and some small side trails. I was walking my dog going off onto a little side trail when I tripped over a 4 inch cut off tree stalk, tripped and broke both my knees..

Great for my two toddlers! Only down side is a small rock wall that the kids try to climb, its too dangerous for the littles but the big kids love it.

We love bringing our two young children here and they love it as well. The nature path is a nice walk for the family.

Great park

Its pretty well maintained, and has lots of soccer fields and baseball/softball fields if you want to play ball. Theres also a large open space, picnic area, playground, and a large woods in the back with two paths, and several little unpathed paths. The woods itself is damaged in parts, but its mostly due to elderwood and boxelder bugs making a mess over a decade ago. Still, the old damaged trees add to the woods, making it rather unique to me.

When there arent a lot of people here, some sketchy-looking dudes tend to hang out in the parking lot, but this is a wonderful park most of the time.
