I wanted to love this place. And awesome old playground with lots of cool passageways lots of stuff for the kids to do. The problem is all of the spiders that actually on this PlayGround everywhere you look there’s a giant web with a decent size spider. We’re talking spiders that are the size of quarters. And not knowing anything about the spiders it’s not as if we can let our kids play here. I wish it was maintain better and maybe sometimes cleaned of spiders so that we could come here.

The Sunrise Rotary Park, also known as the Greenway, is a great place to go for a walk with your family and friends. This interminable walkway that stretches outside of Yakima from Union Gap to Naches and follows the Yakima River and I-82.The trail has a number of great spots for children to play, to stretch or do exercise, and walk a pet. I went during sunset during the week and there were a number of families/people walking the trail. There are also several emergency phones along the trail for safety but this is where the trail can improve. There could be more safety features installed along the trail in addition to locations to toss garbage.All in all its a good place to do some exercise while enjoying the natural beauty of the river.

4 stars only cause bathrooms were locked and its a 15 minute walk to a resturaunt to use the bathroom. Very clean park

Love it here however it could use some fixing up there is picnic tables, a river near by, its a nice walk, swings good hide and seek spots if the kids want to play hide and seek tag, bathroom needs to be checked and sanitized more

Very cute park for whats there but it is run down! Either from lack of use or lack or care. Spiderwebs and broke wood in places. But it was a cute park. A little TLC goes a long way

Place is full of cobwebs and spiders. The wood is falling apart. Got to be careful here especially with children. Can get lots of splinters. Be safe running around on the playground, the wood is rotting

Looks like a big castle toys are so much fun kids had a blast would recommend the nice little walk with a beautiful background towards the Yakima River.Thank you Sunrise Rotary for your donation and time with a playground.

I love this place! I hiked (if you can call a stroll down a paved road near the river hiking) the mile up from a nearby park and enjoyed the seclusion of the tire swing with some tunes. Most of the neighborhood kids stick to the playgrounds you get to by car, so its a great way to enjoy a playground as a 20+ year old without taking equipment from children!If you dont want to hike: you can access the trail from numerous parking lots up the path such as the Oxford hotel. A parking lot marked Fredericks parking across from the target and the dollar tree on the other side of the median was the closest!

Nice park, but the spiders have taken over! It was insane!

This part of the greenway is very nice you should try it.

Its quiet so nice place to get back in touch with wildlife and to teach your kids about nature so they can enjoy it for the rest of their life somehow I got really is

My boys love all the hidey holes, tires, slides, and swings. Such a great park!

My kids love it. We enjoy the walk.

Fun park, but its a long walk to get there (cant drive directly there). Also no clear place to park along the path to get there. We ended up parking at one of the hotels risking the WARNING! CUSTOMER PARKING! YOU WILL GET TOWED signs.Kids had fun playing castle and restroom facilities arent bad.

Lots of black widows and wolf spiders there i wouldnt recommend this place for babys

Nice paved path between river & freeway. Has a single restroom (dirty when I went) several picnic tables and nice wood play set.

Beautiful little area along the Greenway setup for young and old. Even have a power spot to plug into. Bathroom convenient for anyone on the Greenway.

I used to live here up until I was 7 my mom worked at Oxford and we would walk to this park basically every day, I loved it, now I have 3 kids of my own and live back in the earea and Ill be making great memories with my babies!

Super fun for my kids laved it not crowded with a bunch of people the walk was pretty far but its worth it!!!!!

Little walk to get to but worth the walk.

We don’t know, we can see it from the freeway, but after driving back and forth and taking different routes, we have not been able to get to this great-looking park. Huge bummer.

Wood in the play ground needs to be repaired or sanded! Kids walked out of there with multiple splinters in their hands! Will not be going back!
