I took my granddaughter and she had a wonderful time ! The park was clean and free of debris. the people who came and brought their children were friendly and cheerful. We had a great time. All of the playground was very well maintained. We will return as soon as we can!

I had the best time with my granddaughter playing at this park. It has about 6 slides coming down from the long platform (castle) and has a smaller area thats perfect for 1&2 yr olds. Its a lot of fun for kids that like to climb cause theres plenty of places set up just for that. There are several picnic tables under a covering so theyre always out of the sun. They have clean bathrooms and also drinking fountains. Its a great place for kids to play.

Clean bathrooms and park. seems pretty safe. Kids loved it. Looks loads of fun for a playground. Great for kids of all ages. It has canopy tent so kiddos dont get burnt. Tiny free book, leave a book take a book station.

We went here and my children had a fantastic time! There are many things to keep those babies busy! The only reason I gave 4 stars is they dont have a fence and they are located right off of 78. A little girl ran towards the traffic and it was kind of scary for everyone there. Otherwise, fantasic playground!

This is a very nice park. Lots of open space that includes a big play area for the kids. There is also a veterans memorial. Located at the end of a quaint downtown area, there is plenty nearby to grab a drink or a bite to eat.

Took an absolute stinker in one of their port-o-potties. For sure made the thing smell like a pig sty for at least a few days. Watched a child walk in after me and instantly projectile vomit onto the ground. 5 stars.

My son and his friends like it as we can walk from our house. I like the exercise. Visit often

This is an awesome park with playground equipment for big kids AND little kids. There is a huge pavilion that is great for parents to hang out, bring a picnic or host a birthday party. There are decently clean bathrooms and a water fountain as well. The park on the street side has a wrought iron gate which makes it feel a little safer for small kids. Lots of green space, trees and a gazebo! It can get pretty crowded after school on a nice day. But still one of our favorites especially because we can hunt for rocks (Wylie Rocks) and maybe get a little treat from one of the cute shops downtown.

Pretty clean and well kept. Plenty of trashcans and the pavilion is a nice place to sit and eat.

Very nice and clean small park....

Such a great place to visit and take the kiddos... you get to see so much history and how we used to live so many years ago.... it was such a special bond that I got to share this with my parents along with my wife kids all together... now it will be something to share with our own grandkids...!!

Old school park, great from kids!

This park has two great playgrounds. One is a smaller playground meant for 2-5 year olds and one that is meant for 5+. The bigger one has a lot of slides at different levels. Both playgrounds are covered, so its nice to be covered from the sun. There is also a nice swing set too. There are bathrooms nearby and a covered pavilion is right next to the park. Overall a great little park. Note: the restrooms are closed from December 1st to March 1st.

Nice, clean, friendly people, small little town

Very nice Xmas decorated, small park for the whole family to enjoy. Playground for all children big and little. Has tables and chairs to sit and enjoy something to eat. Close to downtown Wylie. Not sure if it has restrooms though.

I love going to downtown Wylie to meet friends with kids. We meet here or end here. You can actually catch up because there is something for everyone. The playground has neat equipment that keeps even the littlest of babies engaged. Its got a shaded picnic area. Theres lots of little cute places to eat and shop within walking distance with bathrooms and soap. Its just great.

Fun place for kids. Nice covered tables and a large grill. Bathroom is closed in winter.

This park has changed drastically over the years, but the home town feeling remains. The mural makes me feel at home and the playground equipment leaves pretty of safe options to explore. I love visiting this park with my nephews and friends. Ive also enjoyed many outdoor events here as well.If your new to Wylie, this is a must stop.

Great place to take your kids . And grand children.. bathrooms there are clean yes I know clean wow.. its called Wylie pride.. your children will have a blast.. way to go Wylie you all rock. Great job on the up keep . Now yall come in on some family fun.. one thing since we dont have theft yet.. and thank God for that.. how about a soda machine . Plz lol

Great family friendly little town of wylie.

Its a great park, but the con is that with it being near a major highway, I wish that it was fenced in. My kids love coming here and the area is always very clean.

A really fun park, located right in downtown. Lots of equipment for kids of all ages. There is a large pavilion with picnic tables, and limited parking on-site, with street parking nearby too. When the kids are done playing, its fun to take a stroll downtown to get something to eat or check out some of the fun shops nearby!

In the heart of Old Downtown. Lots of room for a large venue. Nice pavilion and first class playground equipment for kids.

This little Park is awesome weve been going here for many years and lucky because its so close to the house lots of stuff for the children to play on

Very nice park. Took the grand-kids so they could swing on the swings and ride their new stand on scooters.

Any place that I can take my kids and wear them out and they have a good time is a wonderful place

Visited as a vendor at the Bluegrass on Ballard Festival (4th year in row for the event). Good music, good crowd, nice event location. Hopefully mother nature will be more cooperative next year for the event.

This is a nice little neighborhood park with a nearby water fountain and restroom. Its mostly a small childrens playground with swingsets, slides, and the normal playground equipment. The playground is cushioned by wood chips. There is an adjacent group picnic pavilion. Convenient benches to watch the children.

Went to the Blue Grass Festival and Car Show in Wiley. Fun.

Great little park with close restrooms and walking distance to your morning coffee. I am glad they just added a fence between it and the street. The shade keeps it cool in the morning, but it is too hot by the afternoon.

Good park to take the family in downtown Wylie. Great for birthdays and finding Wylie rocks. If you live in Wylie and you have kids you must check it out or you will miss out. Hope to see you there one day.

The playground is nice and big. Tons of slides and a separate playground for the little ones. Only a few swings. The equipment was in great condition. Flushing toilets at this park! A little close to a busy road and there is no fence so keep a close eye on your kids.

I love taking my family here! Its a great place to stop and let my kids play while were walking around downtown and shopping on Ballard. There are several events held here every year, from the fantastic Bluegrass on Ballard to Boo on Ballard around Halloween.

Too hot. Well, it is an outdoor park in Texas so...

I like its location, but when they changed the park up they made it dangerous and a parent of a young child cant feel comfortable letting their child just play without being right there with them because of the dangerous climbing equipment...

I love the space, the fact that the play area has a shade for rain and the sun. A small area for toddlers and bathrooms. As well as a picnic space. Great park

Wonderful park, love the location, easy to access!

The entire Downtown Ballard area is lined with Pokestops, so as a Pokémon Go player I was very happy. The park itself is well maintained, and has a decent variety of toys to keep the kiddos happy. Theres a little climbing wall, some slides, swings, and a neat fort. As a full grown adult, I was having fun. Im sure kids will appreciate it that much more.
