Pirate Park is for 3 years and up. Swings are good for younger than 2 though. Plenty of space to run though!

Older large park. Plenty of fun for all ages. Lots of wooden play structures so watch for splinters and such. Walking trails and play fields surround.

Perfect playground for multiple ages. Walking path nearby. Sand volleyball, tennis, baseball - its got a lot to offer.

This park is large, lots of open space as well. We were able to put up a badminton net next to one of the soccer fields and there was still enough space.My 5 year old enjoyed playing in the pirate park which has a large array of swing sets so theres enough room for everyone. There are 4 softball fields (lighted), 2 football fields, 5 soccer fields and two sand volleyball courts.I was impressed that the sand volleyball courts were both occupied the entire time I was there (2 hours).There was also a trail around the park. Its also conveniently located next to the Wylie stadium and Wylie HS. Very clean and seemed to be well maintained.

A great park. Im here just about every week for something, whether it be for the soccer, playground, tennis courts, sand volleyball, football fields, etc. It has pretty much everything and it all is well maintained and in good shape. The playground is a pirate theme that was fun for the kids. The fields have a pretty nice grass and the soccer goals have nets that are still in good shape. The park is heavily used by rec and club leagues so depending on the season, saturdays and tuesday/thursday evenings will be busy, but I recommend a look for anyone wanting to get the kids out of the house.

Founders Park is a hidden gem in Wylie. The plush and well-manicured fields are perfect for football and fútbol alike. It also features nice baseball fields, outdoor basketball courts and a trail along the perimeter.

Its a great place to take the kids the people are helpful

I absolutely love this park for my little ones to play at. It is completely fenced in so I down have to worry about anyone wondering off. Great shade and a great time to visit with other moms.

Founders Park is a great place for the family. Kids have a big playground area with many options, there is a paved trail to walk/bike, plenty of fields to practice soccer, football, and I have even seen some small kids playing baseball. Its clean, safe, and very well maintained.

Enjoy taking the grandkids there, lots of wide-open space for them to run and play. Nice volleyball court- dual, and the play area is nice for the little tikes. Plenty of pavilion spaces for a get-together and the restrooms are clean.

Great park for pre teens. The pirate playground is very nice. Several soccer and baseball fields, even Pokemon stops for the less outdoorsy.

Very nice park. Its large, clean and very well kept. Lots of open land. There is a large pirate theme kids playground with a fun bridge. Only downside is that It’s heavily used for sports practice and games, so weekend parking during seasons is dreadful. It also lacks sufficient shaded areas. Overall it’s a great park and feels safe.

We Love founders Park! It has fields, a play ground, and like an old abandoned obstacle course of some sort. Used to practice parkour around here, very nice. Also a great area to fly quadcopters or other things of the such. Nice big parking lots, and fields to practice sports. Very cool!

Went on a Thursday afternoon and it was a ghost town for about 30 minutes... Either way, we had a good time at the playground with a 5 y/o. Be sure to bring water!

Huge castle themed playground for kids to run around. The playset is showing its age and I just noticed that some areas have been poorly patched with plywood. Tons of swings and neat features like ropes bridges that you dont see other places. There is a smaller playground for the younger ones.

So far so good for kids activities, wide compound and a lot bigger play ground.

It has a wonderful park and feild its just that the soccer goals are never out other than league games

Great park perfect for all kind of activities with the family, restrooms all around the park and clean. The kids area is big and super fun, my kids never want to leave.

First time I went it was amazing and clean, 5 stars. Last two times Ive gone, filled with trash. They need someone coming to clean it up on the weekends I guess because I spent ten minutes today cleaning up litter.

Just OK. Kind of run down and even some rusty nails hanging out of the wooden train engine at the park. My 4 year old was ready to leave after just a short play time.

Nice tennis courts, open from 5am-11pm and they are lighted so thats a plus.

Its a cute little Park and is perfect for small kids. It needs an overhaul though. The playground equipment is sun worn and kinda dated. It is a great place for the events that have been held there. One feels right at home during the the tree lighting, arts festival and such.

I would have given it 5 stars but when your kids are playing sports there on the weekends- it so SO extremely busy with absolutely no parking- and we even arrive way early. Time to expand or find an additional spot to accommodate all the games.

Big, beautiful park, huge playground, lots of sports fields, even a concession stand (not open during my visit) but not a water fountain in sight! There may have a water fountain/rest room on the other side of the park...? Wylie, you want people to come and stay a while, at least provide some water.

This place is huge for a park playground, and theres plenty of places to climb, explore, swing, slide, and run around. There are a couple picnic tables with trash cans nearby, and plenty of benches throughout the enclosed playground area for parents to sit and supervise. The park seemed clean and well kept.

Its a lovely park with enough space

Clean park, never trashed out, EVER!! ALWAYS, some kind of sports activity going on there.. Ive witnessed adult beach volleyball, FC Mutiny Soccer Clubs practice soccer there, baseball fields, softball fields, flag football practice, regular football practice and games, soccer games on weekends.. All this right behind Wylie High school football Stadium.. On Wednesdays, Thursdays, and some Fridays you get the background of exciting high school football cheers.. Theres occasionally a boot camp for adults in the parking lot to music there as well.. So you see, theres always activity, and the City of Wylie keeps the park very clean... If theres inclement weather, the website lets you know the park is closed due to water or whatever the weather is for that day or group of days.. They dont want the park damaged while weather events are taking place as well as injuries too.. Stop by the park and see for yourself, especially now that the weather is cooling off, activities are sure to be more PLENTIFUL, most definitely... Especially in the Fall months, these months are the reason to live in Texas, everyone knows that!! Mid 70s during the day... Low to mid 50s at night.. Cant beat those kind of temps.. So come on out to Founders Park and enjoy some Fall activity, see for yourself how much there is going on and how much there is to do!! See ya there

My daughter loves this park its got a lot of stuff for her to do and its very cool. I wish my parents had taken me to parks like this when I was young.

Great ball fields, tennis court, play ground and volleyball courts. Many you sports activities available. Great for running, the sidewalk perimeter is more than one mile. Clean restrooms.

Great playground. Great pond and floating board walk. Ropes and obstacle course that could use some repairs. Lots of soccer pitches and baseball diamonds. Close to Wylie Stadium. Clean and well maintained restrooms.

Great Public Tennis Courts with lights

After the kids from the elementary school left the park was rather empty. My son liked it. The equipment is well maintained. The playground is fairly compact. My biggest issue was the portopotty. There was no tp and the door didnt lock.

Founders Park is very nice. The park has softball fields, soccer fields, Etc. it also has a play area for children. The park is very clean and nicely kept up with.
