Its a nice park by the Lavon lake. You can spend a day with Family. There is boat ramp also if you take your boat. There is entry fee of $4. You can also swim there, but I saw a warning sign says no life guard available there.

Pleasant calm and best sunset views near Lavon Picnic places and beach with boat ramp is added advantage.

This place was very relaxing my family from California had a wonderful time here. We will definitely be going back before summer is over

Area has dues to pay upon entrance. You would think because of these dues, it would be much better maintained!

3 is pushing it really. Im not sure if the park was technically open as the gates were locked prohibiting vehicular traffic but you could walk down to what qualified as the swim area. There were broken bottles and trash in the area...we took the dogs and made the most of it though.

Its a bit dilapidated but despite its rough edges it had good spaces and great views.

Decent prices but not great customer service in an old run-down store it looks like everybody is buying from Amazon now and they are on their way out unfortunately used to be such a great store

Great little park for families to get together nice and clean any park hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly

A beautiful picnic spot. The road conditions to the park are terrible. Lack of directions inside the area. There are no facilities for water activities, a small pier would do the magic. Landscaping is unattended as well, lots of fire ants.

Its pretty, and easy to get too

I really liked the scenery alot. Its a great place to fish and ride your boat or something. What I dont like, however, is that many things there werent very maintained (eg. the road, the vegetation in certain areas, etc). Also there were some strange spiders and other bugs around but other than that, it was really nice

When is it open? Ive gone multiple times threw out the year and everytime I go whether its during the week or the weekend its closed. According to their sign closed as of April 1st pointless to have this place if its closed all year around.

Park is ok it has swimming areas and bank fishing areas. The problem isnt the park the problem is the rude inconsiderate people that go there, we were fishing in the trees that are growing in the water where I wouldnt think anyone would swim, I sure wouldnt, and a group of Mexican people showed up and set there chairs up and walked in to the water between us right where we were fishing without any consideration.

What a beautiful place wish i had my Kawasaki jetski with me....

Roads were bad.The boat ramp is in bad shape.It is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Could tell it was pretty from side street unfortunately closed due to some budget issues due to recent floods
