Gorgeous views! Saw a bald eagle soaring high overhead. Well kept, wide trails are perfect for pets & socially distant people.

A really beautiful area. A good amount of bugs but that’s to be expected. There’s also a well maintained pavilion with an overlook and an outdoor stage

Great trail with more hills than the average park in Illinois. Extremely buggy around this time of year though.

Most of the area is pretty cute and great for long walks, but some of it just feels like youre in the middle of someones huge lawn next to the road.

We had such a great time.Took the grandkids to the Pond Exploration, we found dozens of cool creatures in the pond. Tadpoles, snails, crayfish, we heard a very loud bullfrog and a green frog, that actually sounds like a single banjo string ! Thank you to the two women who worked there, they made the pond enjoyable!

The scenery is beautiful! The paths are cut clear and wide making the walking/hiking easier. Plenty of parking with several locations to do different hikes. The sounds of nature are so clear because you are out far from road noises and yet its easy to get to by car. So peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing for the soul. Go and enjoy

Great park to take dogs on a hike. Never anyone there I always seem to have the place to myself. There is a pond for fishing and a few miles of trails that go through the forest as well as the prarie. Definitely worth taking a day trip out there and walking around a bit.

Miles of beautiful, scenic trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and groomed trails for cross-country skiing when there is at least 4 inches of snow. We visit year round. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Bring your family and discover this gem!
