Loved spending time with my 2 sons here and the restrooms were clean, unlike other public park restrooms...

I wakj the paved path around the outside of the ball field. There is good parking with easy access to the path. Also there are benches. There are also public restrooms. If there are ball games it can be busy but you can walk the paved and non paved paths without disturbing the games

Good quality tennis courts at Hobgood Park in overall good condition. However, the lights are not working as of late. Still would recommend.

Its a great park. Clean and well laid out. Most times theres not too many people except when there are.

Nice play to come and play. Walk the track. Play some baseball. Soccer or football is always fun here too.

Good park for youth sporting events, needs more parking places.

This is a good park with many attractions for all age groups. I’ve seen old and young here: playing on playgrounds, using exercise equipments, walking around, running on the tennis courts, doing yoga, and pitching on the baseball field. I’ve come many times, and the trash cans are always taken care of. The bathrooms are clean. I would recommend for picnics or improv in the outdoor amphitheater.

We have always loved Hobgood Park. We started going there when our oldest was just a toddler. We had dinner in one of the picnic tables there the other day with my now 62 oldest and my quickly catching up teen. A great place to make memories!

I love this park, even better police stay frequently here so not much crime going on. The walk loop really needs some shade bad, its insanely hot in summers. Though the baseball fields always stay well taken care of, the tennis court is pretty damn run down though, it desperately needs to be repaved, which is why its a 4 star not 5.

Went there to see the annual Christmas light display. We were NOT disappointed!! This has grown immensely in the past few years! Even Home Depot and several other companies have gotten involved! Definitely a must see!! $10 per person is well worth the time. Theres even a large tent with an area for kids to build small projects ( free ) and have pictures taken with Santa!!

Both of my boys started baseball at this ball park at four years old. They continued to play after joining their travel teams on into high school,we all have many great memories of this experience with Hobgood Baseball Park.

They always have a great Christmas light display. Check it out if you’re in the area.

Great park if you play baseball/softball, soccer, and tennis. Not great if you like to walk/run. Is the same concrete circle.... So that is why I gave the rating!

Great facility and the concessions are by far the best. This is a good place for your kids to sign up for baseball at the youth fields or there is adult softball at the top fields. I used to play here as a kid and the park has come a long way. They have done a lot of upgrades. The fields are in good shape. The park stays clean. The people are friendly. There are tennis courts, a soccer field, a bunch of baseball fields, batting cages, and a playground. There is also a walking trail around the top section of fields.

A great park, but is very poorly maintained. Is there no budget for this?

Went here for an F3 (Fitness, Fellowship, Faith. Look us up. Free workouts and you get a cool nickname) workout and the facilities are amazing! I will definitely be back here for sure!

Love the idea of this park. Great place for the kids to hang out. Skate & bike. My kids love the playground too.

SOFTBALL FIELD mounds are atrocious NO MAINTENANCE just rake the sand back in the hole to be pulled out again !! Two of our pitchers complained to director who said It take lots of time to repair holes, after they saw the trainer on site for an ankle injury and knee injury and only pitching 3 innings on these terrible fields. Where does the $1600.00 go that each team pays to play for three days? Our pitchers should not have to worry about tweaking knees or ankles because of illegal pitching mounds! Its ridiculous!

Lights of hope is a great event for kids. Also this is a nice peaceful area to take the kids and family for a walk.

Hobgood Park is located in Towne Lake. Hobgood was completely renovated & is very popular for families with sports, picnics & walking trails. Pet friendly

Awesome Softball experience

Always a nice place. Ball fields, walking area, play area for kids. Fair amount of parking. Many events are held here.

Large space. Great softball fields, a large walking/jogging path, plenty of access and exit points, tennis courts.

Used recycle facilities. Generally well organized and litter free.

Over many years, I have watched my three grandsons start at T-Ball to traveling team baseball. Great concession stand. So many pleasant memories, great coaches that have provided so much principled approach to baseball & more importantly to life. All three grandsons have finished college & into careers for success in life. THANK YOU HOBGOOD PARK.I often pass by Hobgood Park and consider dropping in for a nostalgic visit. Just to watch todays kids and reminisce.

A terrific playground for the kids. The half mile walking track around the baseball fields is also very nice for a family walk. Concession stand during the ball games is refreshing.

Absolutely love this park I do all of my recycling through hobgood even glass saves me some money thank you all very much for helping us reduce our footprint!

Great place to play little league baseball. The teams are great, and the fields are maintained in great playing condition. The family has played at the park for many years and have never had a problem with any of the other parents/adults. All parents, adults, and players are very positive and play with enthusiasm. The coaches are great and really love to teach the passion of baseball. On any given day you could bump into former MLB players that live in the area and have kids playing at the park.

This is a fantastic place to visit. There is plenty of parking and tons of space to go for a walk or throw a ball. I wish they would plant a diversity of new trees to bring more wildlife and provide more shade. This park is quite clean.This is also one place to recycle and drop off goodwill items. Cherokee county has done a nice job of maintaining this park. Highly recommended

Parks are the way they should be been going for a long time playing softball

This is about as good as it gets for youth baseball facilities. You can tell its an older park but still nice. Lots of trees!! Bleachers are not covered however the trees shade them for the most part. Concessions and restrooms are typical. There is a playground area but its not convenient to let the little ones play while watching the older ones play ball. The playground is out of the gates behind the outfield of one of the fields.

Good place to walk if need flat place and it is nice and clean!

Love it! The tall trees help shade from the sun. They have a little outdoor workout area. My little kids love the little play area.

Terrible fields. No bullpens? Better suited for volleyball. Six inches of dry sand. Bring your buckets and build castles between innings!

Nice park, ample playground, small walking path, baseball fields, clean. The playground is not huge, not small, and a but outdated. But my two year old doesnt mind. Its a nice manageable size to keep an eye on your kiddo while they play. Playground ground surface is wood chips. Walking path is paved. Theres an outdoor recycling center and a Goodwill donation drop off there as well that we take advantage of. Go check it out!

Love the baseball program at Hobgood Park. My son has played ball at Hobgood since he was 5. He is now 16. They have great fields and concessions. sometimes it has been our home away from home.

This is a nice park. But---the ladies restroom are not always clean. OI notice trash and toilet tissue is done once a month. They dont clean or mop the rest rooms. Especially the ladies room near the ballfield near the batting cages it is sooo nasty, I had to use the mens restroom which was cleaner. To me it seems like the workers are more concern about maintaining the park grounds than public safety. WOMEN, stop being nasty...and clean up your mess.

Super family athlete / friendly park. Baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis, walking track. Very pet friendly with poop bags and disposals. Even a water fountain for your fur fiends. Plenty of clean restrooms. Pretty active park. Local & travel tournaments hosted with plenty of space for everyone! The concession stand rocks, with the soft serve ice cream.

I love taking the kids here, its small, but I love how it has a smaller park for my youngest and a bigger one right next to it for my older son.

Beautiful christmas decorations all over and plenty of things for the children to participate in.

Lots of things to do here. Baseball, playground, exercise area, tennis but they need a better practice wall. Its too small and wood is rotted.

This is my childhood. I dont have to go far into it. It has baseball fields (which is my favorite sport), a track, and of course, a playground. I love it here, as it makes a lot of good memories.
