A lovely park with great walking trails. We took the trail along the river- after you cross the bridge go right- and we enjoyed the old rope mill ruins (lots of concrete, some stonework) and the trees and water. We saw people fishing and many kayakers, and a couple in the water. We plan to go back to explore the different paths.

Great park with tons to do (no playground that I saw at the entrance by the main bridge). Lots of different trails options, a couple of bridges, and a small field with rocks to climb. Another group was grilling out by the picnic tables. We had a great time!

Ive always loved going here and recently been practicing photography at this park! Its always clean, people here tend to give you space and proper social distancing. Theres many biking trails, a sidewalk trail, and some off sidewalk trails that can go all the way to the railroad tracks! A great place to hang out with friends, take photography, bike, kayak, walk, and jog!

Great park! Lots of fun. My one complaint is the trail markings are awful. Its hard to tell what are hiking trails, what are mountain bike trails, which way to go, and even the direction to follow them. This needs work.

This park has nice bike trails for all types of riders and without the competitive racers from Blankets Creek. Very well maintained trails and secluded... You will feel surrounded by nature and forget about the outside world with just a few steps. The Mill and Raceway have a lot of flow throughout the entire trail and great trails to practice, if you are a beginner/intermediate rider, before adventuring to Blankets. ProTip: check the Sorba Woodstock website before hitting the trails to check if they are open. Parking is limited close to the head trails but many available on the overflow parking. Clean restrooms available.

Great park...my only complaint is about the hiking trail that goes to Toonigh Creek Falls. It is very easy to get turned around and the trail is not clearly marked past a certain point.

Beautiful historic park in the heart of Woodstock! Plenty of trails to explore and the new kayak launch that theyve built there really makes things hassle free. My only complaint is that theyve taken away parking spaces and will tow you if you park in the grass. Other than that, pretty cool little park.

Great mountain biking trails! Trails are kept up well. There are old style and flow style to make you happy. They also have a real neat kayak dock and a nice can part of the river to paddle around in. SORBA Woodstock Mountain Bike Club does a great job maintaining these trails.

A really nice little park! Very enjoyable. Lots of Bench swings around a little creek flowing into a bigger river. Information and maps about the old rope mill that existed across the river and a metal bridge to get there. Very well thought out lots of money well spent on this incredible little park. It even has handicap bathrooms! Wow

This is one of my most frequented locations to drop my kayak in the water via their kayak/canoe ramp BUT the engineers that installed it did a terrible job predicting the rise and fall of the water level and the RAMP WAS SWEPT DOWNSTREAM. You can still drop in but it is nowhere near as convenient as it once was.

This place is so awesome. At first you think its just a creek with a paved walking path, but the deeper you explore, the more you realize that the creek and forest branhes out in Every direction. Whether you want to go out for a nice picnic or exploring nature, rope mill park has something to offer for everyone.

This is a great spot for kayaking/canoeing/paddle boarding and mountain biking. Heavy mountain biking traffic can cause issues for hiking at times. Trails are not the best in my opinion. Parking is also an issue and tends to get packed by mid morning especially in nicer weather and weekends.Paddle left out of the put in spot until the water opens up into Lake Allatoona and turn right down the cove to get to a waterfall that is popular for swimming and hanging out. You can also hike to the falls which can be steep and slippery in spots.

The park itself it great, plenty of trails for walkers or bike riders. The only thing I would say this park is lacking would be - decent parking. To me I feel that this should have way more spots than what it currently does. Otherwise, I was quite happy with my overall experience here.

Nice local park. This little hidden gem follows Little River and offers hiking on paved and dirt trails and mountain biking. Most dirt trails are shared by hikers and bikers who travel in opposite directions for better sharing. The Rock Trestle Trail is paved, and follows the river. A small bridge crosses the river and a large wooden platform and multiple Trailside branches offer great river views. Restroom and picnic facilities are available and well-kept.

This is a go to trail of ours. We love all of the different trails within this park. If you want a short trail without too much grade veer toward the railroad tracks. About a mile to the tracks. When you get to the end you’ll see the street art often changed. You can keep going and add more on if you like. This part has no bikes which we enjoy. One concern is if you have small kids, or older or handicapped kids/adults there is a small area in the middle that may be hard to navigate. Also, there is a very small paved trail very easy to the right before entering woods. For another fun option there is a trail when you first arrive to the right that can offer 2-4+ miles. It is bike and hike friendly. Also, another favorite is to the left. It has directional signs as bikes and hikers must go opposite ways, for safety. This option offers 1-3+ miles of trails. This one has lots of switchbacks. Also, many love to take pics here.. some even bring kayaks. Personally, I would stay out of that water. We’ve seen snakes near the swings up front, and the water is still much of the time in areas.

Okay so.........I moved to Canton March of 2018. Sat on google for hours looking for parks, lakes, etc. Olde Rope Mill would always come up in the search, however, I just had the chance of going there a week ago for the first time. My kids and I absolutely enjoyed it. Everyone is extremely friendly!!!! We even met a beautiful and pleasant spirited woman at the park. She was there walking her sons dog, and the dog fell in love with my boys. They played while the lady and I had small chit chat. Come to find out, she’s a realtor and said she would help me find my very first home and just overall get the process started with mortgages or what not. Back to the park lol......I loooooove the trail, it’s full of history about the warehouse that once stood there. Haven’t had the chance to fully explore the entire park but I’m working on it and I advise anyone reading this review to do so. There are bike trails and the lake all through the park. Once I find more I’ll update my review. Thanks for reading :)
