I havent been here in a really long time. A huge garage occupies most of the parking lot now but it still welcomes hikers and walkers. The trails have been cleaned up and repaired which makes it even funner to hike.
Has a play ground best suited for 5 and under (small slides etc), has a port o potty, one picnic table in the shade, and some trails. The trails need more upkeep but I can see how it might be perfect for skiing in winter. Not a trail for strollers as weeds over grow just 1/4 mile down the path... at least when I went, there was some construction being done to improve the parking area (currently closed).
There was construction which is fine!!! Great playground for the kids, great trails. Would be great if they put out a map of the trails though because we didnt know which one or where to go.
I have herd great things and would love to go there
We decided to walk the paved and soft Trail Loop. The paint Trail is fine so there are no markings to tell you where you are or where youre going. We made it onto the soft Trail at the northwest corner of The Preserve, but after a few hundred yards the trail was completely unkempt. No maintenance. We went from a bark / mulch Trail to walking through weeds and Tall Grass for better than a mile.Compared to other walking trails around the area this mess in Woodbury is a disgrace.
Gorgeous and peaceful - feels like youre so far away from a city
Nice little walk but nothing special. Actually needs a bit of upkeep.
A good place to walk the dog. Feels safe enough. Near lots of residential so lacking much isolation.
I grew up around there i was always at the park People have there construction stuff all over the parking lot also one of the workers need a attitude check
Nice quite place, cool boardwalks
Scenic tamarack trees in a little patch of protected bog. Nice for a winter walk, with designated trail sections for Nordic skiing.
Nice
We were told by someone working for MMCD to wear bug spray, as they test for disease-carrying mosquitos. They havent found any this year yet though.
Nice little placed to walk tucked away in Woodbury
Miles of beautiful trails
