My Grandma actually lived on part of the 16 acres that the park is a part of when she sold it to the city of Woodbury. The land was a part of our families for a long time and I am happy that the name of the park will carry on the Kargel name. Hope all who use it will enjoy.

I was assured there were free-range chickens here, but we saw none. The playground was good for the kids and it was very clean. Thanks, Captain!

This is a nice little park. I love that it has a big playset and a little playset. There are great bathrooms! At first I didnt see a picnic table in the shade so we just ate under a tree. Later, I did notice two picnic tables on the other side of the building under the awning.

Swings and a jungle gym. Its got decent upkeep. One of the better ice rinks in the east side of the twin cities though.

Nice little park. They have swings and a nice playground set.They have a full size hockey rink. They also have a large open grass area that I believe might also be a free skating ice spot in the winter. There is a building that is open in the winter I believe.Lots of friendly people from the nearby neighborhood.

ARRIVE EARLY! great place for a bbq, pets allowed, cash only, shows start at sundown but you definitely need to be in line about 2 hours before gates open

Good little park with little and big kid play areas. It also has a rink next to it and has a shelter area which can be used if needed on the exterior of the shack. To use the shack, it must be rented. No public bathroom is why I give it a 4 and there is little to no natural shade.

A small park with a playground and an ice rink. Theres a nice building here for meetings and classes but not much more. It gets busy at times, but a good option if youre hoping to get away from the more visible crowded parks in the area.

Theres a path through the woods connecting brookview Road to Tamarack Road. Through the woods on one side, theres a lake. The lake is barely visible through the woods. Either side, the woods are beautiful and lined with wild flowers. Theres a connecting path that goes to a parking lot that is accessible from Interlachen Parkway. In the corner of the park is a childrens play area which is accessible from Moonlight Drive.

Quiet and clean. Great for a family outing as it has wood trails and a kids playground.There is a gazebo for bathrooms, picnics or group activities.There is nothing particularly extraordinary or exciting, but what it is, is relaxing.

It is a neighborhood park with restrooms and picnic area. In the winter theres a warning house for the outdoors ice rink.
