An awesome place to hang out, read a book and catch the occasional rockin concert (when applicable). Shops and restaurants are all around, waiting to be explored. Cool spot!
Beautiful park. Great food nearby. Awesome place to hang out for the day and have a picnic.
We very much enjoy the farmers market!
Love just coming here and sittingCute shops around to see and is surprisingly quiet.
Always clean and during this time with covid, very few people! Cant wait until everything is opened again and the Town Green gets back to all the activities that we all love!
Wonderful! Walked around Charlie Browns Christmas tree patch. Lots of very nice folks. Very family oriented/kid friendly. What a great part of Windsor.
Went to the farmers market, were a bit late in the day but it seemed like a really nice small market with good quality vendors etc
Beautiful area to walk your pup and self and just enjoy the sites and smells of the restaurant and store ALL in walking distance even for the disabled its not far to walk around in
Has shade and sun, its a nice place to stay especially with the local shops in the area--such as ice cream and coffee shops.
This plaza is more of a half plaza. Only one (arguably one and a half) sides have shops. The other sides have a community center and a delightful library. You can grab coffee or an ice cream here, play or sit beside the green. In summer, watch evening movies or listen to music, shop the tiny farmers market. In winter, admire the local Christmas trees decorated and displayed on the green. A nice, casual local hub, but not quite a tourist destination. With that said, if you are in Windsor as a tourist, its worth taking a stroll around the green and checking out if any events are going on during your stay.
Great meeting spot. Every restaurant is good!
We love the Town Green! Great restaurants. And numerous locally-owned shops including a great bike shop, two cafes, Kaleidescope Toys, candy & Gelato shop. Plus a large grassy area to play and a great playground. And great events! In the summer, check out Thursday night music on the green and Tuesday night movies on the green. And in December, the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Grove!
Just reopening the Farmers market! Sanitizing hands and giving free masks was a good start to a safe environment.
Super fun place to ride bikes and scooters at
Rode Rosie the Trolley to Windsor Town Green to see the Christmas trees. Loved all the different theme trees. Such a good time every year. I hope they keep doing this!
What A GREAT place to go. May be for the farmers market, maybe for Thursday night on the green, or, perhaps for the movies.Sometimes it is just to relax. Then theres the concerts. Listen and enjoy a glass of wine on the grass.Maybe its the schools night to have students sing Christmas carols.Great playground for the wee lads and lassies.Library right next to it, and the cop shop. So its safe. Then on two sides there are eateries and ice cream shops.I am there at least once a week, I will be there again on Sunday and Monday.See ya there.
Such a wonderfull place for families to hang out!
Beautiful clean and vibrint park. Always clean and welcoming. People are always very polite and helpful. I guess you could say the city of Windsor is a bit yuppyish but from my own personal experience, the people there have been nothing but nice to me and my family.
Its so lovely
Fun park. Nit as small kid friendly as I would love but he still liked it.
Thursday night summer music is great. A wonderful community and family event. Food is very culturally diverse. Everyone is in a good mood and friendly. Never any drama.
The Christmas tree display here is amazing i took the kids and had a great time. They really loved the snow that comes at 5:30 and 7:30 every night.
Grew up around this area, its beautiful and there is a lot to do on the green.
Its just a tourist attraction
On a beautiful day, this is a great place to enjoy the sun -- and to savor some gelato from the candy shop. The Saturday farmers market is worth a visit, but get there before 1:00.
Love it here. All the shops are great and good restaurants to. The lawn area is huge. During Christmas is the best with all the decorated trees by locals companies and families.
Its unique! I love it! Always something happening there. Tasting rooms and excellent restaurants all around the Town Green.
Wow thats awesome! What a great way to unite and show Christmas pride! Love the Christmas trees and all who made the park beautiful. Was amazing to see it all lit up at night. Every tree had a special surprise and theme. Was a great walk to take in the serious themes All in all a display of a small town community doing a positive meaningful display of unity!
Very nice to go to the park with my boys and dog
Fun place at Christmas, more decorated trees than you can shake a stick at. Great playground for the kids.
The Windsor Town Green is a great place for events on Thursdays to Farmers Market on Sundays. Shops and restaurants circle it, providing a great stop to have dinner and then take a stroll and feel like you are in good one downtown America.
The Christmas trees are adorable. Plus the Pokemon go stops are lit as well
You should see the beautiful colors of Lights so vibrant on all the different trees decorated by our towns people!
Went to the last concert with friends we found a Shady Tree because it was hot that day. Listening to The Beatles Revisited was wonderful again and again I will come every year as long as they have it.
A really lovely park in the center of downtown Windsor. Its well maintained, well structured, and very safe.
Truly the center of the community. Good things happen here.
Small beautiful town, nearby wineries, Russian River.
Thursday night live music season has started! Awesome time! Come down every Thursday night from 6 PM to 8pm. Live music, food, drinks, its a good time!
Great free music venue on Thursday nights. You can bring chairs, blanket, wine and beer. They sell beer and wine too. There is usually about a dozen food vendors as well.
Small park with great location. Surrounded by great dining and shopping opportunities. Many civic functions including well lit xmas display. Public restrooms and police department right next door. Small childrens playground
It was fantastic probably one of the greatest parks I visited thought it did have some draw backs likeno restrooms (that I saw). It had a round about (margole roud). And see-saw along with a lot of greenery and cool trees, with many place to sit. If you have a chance to go there and take your kids, I really recommend it.
Great music during the summer and good play toys for the kids.
Came for the Thursday night concert. Busy, but a nice crowd. Lots of interesting food vendors. Lovely evening.
Windsor is a family friendly place. We went to the Town Green to see the Christmas trees and hear the kids singing. The town really went all out to make it enjoyable for all ages. There are affordable shops and restaurants all around, unlike Healdsburg. Go and enjoy
Wish I lived in this place its like a little Christmas town all year round
Windsor Town green is a must visit site during the month of December. The Christmas tree display there is really pretty and fun for everyone. The green is surrounded by restaurants and shops that are great for dates or family and friends.
Clean place great for kids. concerts on Thursdays good time to get the family together band starts around 6 PM on Thursday
Love this market. So fun the people are wondering. The food is great
Great shops and a great park, play ground
So quaint has an old town feel. Park is lovely to walk in
Great place and a beautiful green area to share with family
Such a relaxing, safe feeling, and happy place to gather. Love the Sunday Farmers Market.
Its beautiful everyone is in a nice
The Town Green, located in the center of downtown Windsor, functions as both a gathering place and an outdoor event center. It features a large grassy area, peppered with oak trees, pathways, a gazebo and a water feature that you can walk across. It has a newly renovated playground, with benches where adults can sit and watch their kids play. There are picnic tables scattered throughout the green. It is a short walk over to Olivers Market, where you can buy a fantastic picnic lunch to take back with you. Even the pickiest eaters can find something there. There are restaurants and stores all around. The library is currently located on the green as well. There are many events on the green throughout the year. In summer there are movie nights (bring a blanket and sit on the grass ); music nights that include an evening farmers market, food vendors and food delivery (straight to your lawn chair or blanket) from some of the restaurants on the Green; the Windsor Certified Farmers Market runs on Sundays from 10-1 April through December (check their website for exact dates); there are special holiday events and displays too, like the Christmas tree grove, tree lighting (Santa and Mrs. Claus ride in on a fire engine to light the towns Christmas tree) and Scarecrow Days in the fall. Check the town of Windsors webpage for more details on these and other events. Have fun!
Windsor Town Green is the hub of the town. Theres a large lawn atea for picnics and events. Live music, movies and farmers markets. The library and stores surround the green. Great food, gifts, coffee and services.
A little under exciting...
A thriving Town Green which be offering even more, next year.
Decent place to visit. Needs some improvements
Always a good time. With or without the girl you love... cuz there is plenty more that want love.
Great place for a nap
Summer events on Thursday night are not to be missed. Great music and fun relaxed scene make this a terrific stop in the evening if you are in Sonoma.
Great place for a stroll and for family friendly events. The Summer on the Green offers movies on Tuesdays and live music on Thursdays and Sunday they host a farmers market.
They Have Movies for Adults onTues.&Children Movies on Thurs.nights.during the Summer + Great Candy Shop, the Librarys there, a few nice Restaurants.
Home for almost 17 years. Go there for food and fun especially in summer.
Love the Christmas trees all decorated & lit up. Its a safe place to go with your family.
Such a nice place. They do all sorts of events here from conerts in the park to fireworks on the forth of July. It really is beautiful here, if you have not ever checked it out I highly recommend you do. Shops all around the park from restaurants to toy stores there is lots to do for the whole family.
This place is the calm and quite part of town and its a good place to hang out with friends
The playground is small but very new with plenty of activities even when the place is busy. The green itself is close to plenty of windsor favorites and good food is never more than 100 feet away. During the summer windsor holds movie nights, concerts and the local farmers market every week. My only complaint is that the downtown resturants are a bit pricey
Event planning is great! Would like to see more quality restaurants/cafes and shops on the Green. Options are limited and mediocre at best, with the exception on one restaurant. This location has opportunity to draw in the locals and attract tourists!! Maybe work on improving business opportunities with retailers. Vacancies are an indicators of unbalanced leasing terms for business owners.
Never any good parking.
Really great and uplifting, loved watching all the people dancing
Cool spot to shop hang out and bring kids to play
Love the shows on the Green, get to visit with a lot of people from around the area who come to the shows there, farmers market, food, good time also
I worked The Prayer Shawl Ministry Booth and had a great day!
The Farmers Market was a very nice place to be on a Sunday, morning there was a great band playing called Youngblood & Co.
It was good but I got allergies
Farmers market is off the hook! Live music and alcoholic beverages allowed in the park!!!The Elote is fire, and the food is amazing!!! The rotary club seves margaritas or lemondrops !!! Off the hook on Thursdays...!!!
An absolutely lovely place to take your kids to play or to go for a long relaxing walk. There is a large playground in a corner of the park and beautiful landscaping all around.
Great place for a stroll with your dog. Dont miss the Christmas displays in December and Sunday farmers market, plus great restaurants and the local library all surrounding the perimeter.
This large park has pinic tables and grass for setting up the chairs very dog friendly. The park is surrounded by a small business shops bikes ice cream jewelry knick backs ect most have dog bowl of water out front as you walk down the sidewalk.
Best park for your family! Right in the center, new childrens playground! Spacious grass area...and best of all: surrounded by all the stores and restaurants...
Every Christmas season they have a Charlie Brown Cristmas tree grove display, including a snow maker for nightly snowfall at 5:30 PM & 7:30 PM.This annual exhibit is FREE to the public and supported by sponsors. It runs until the end of December.
The Green is always nice, places to eat, drink and just relax.
Quiet peacfucl and plenty of cute shops. I mostly come to the Town Green to knit/crochet, read and collect my thoughts its perfect for that
We eat a kcs every time in town. The last time we went to the farmers market in the park. We loved everything we picked up. Walking across the park a noticed a bike station. I had never seen one. It had a rack with many tools for repair or adjustments. At Christmas the park is full of trees children and companies decorate
We like going to the green when we are in Windsor. They do have concerts and a farmers market on Thurdays. I thought it odd though that the farmers, market had zero, none, nada grapes? No grapes? Seriously, this is Sonoma, why no grapes? Anyway, lots of great food around the green, try any of them or all of them, we have never been disappointed. Bon apetit.
I love to be here when i Have something to think So geen
