The Martinelli Winery not only supports a local non-profit providing housing for homeless youth, they also craft delicious wine with a high alcohol content, which pairs wonderfully with meat. Their wine has an incredible depth of flavor, and the site of their winery is just gorgeous, rustic with an old winery feel, and a gorgeous stone worked terrace behind the tasting room with an outdoor gazebo for outdoor enjoyment.

Great desert wine and a great family story

Very nice vineyard with an awesome staff to boot. They were so informative about the local winerys and had a lot of other tips for spots to check out around the area. We both enjoyed the wine tasting and would recommend everyone gives it a try. Also bonus for you Tesla owners they have a charging station.

I am not a huge collector of wines, but due to my advanced age, I have enough in my cellar to last my lifetime.I dont know exactly how long I have been getting Martinelli wines, but probably 10 years at least. Long enough that I get all I want of the fabled BLUE SLIDE Pinot.About 5 years ago my wife and I visited the Martinelli red barn. We dropped in un-announced, but were treated like beloved relatives. They opened so many bottles for us to taste that I was embarrassed. That was the first time that I sampled BLUE SLIDE. When I asked how long before I would qualify for an allotment of Blue Slide, the nice lady told me to keep buying and maybe my children would get some. I got a small allotment the very next year.The thing I like most about Martinelli is that anytime I open a Martinelli Pinot, Chardonnay, or Zinfandel, my guests and I will be very pleased with the quality. We never have the slightest doubt about wether or not we will enjoy the wine.I know your family has been doing great work for almost 140 years. All of us wine lovers out here are very proud to know you. Keep up the great work.A Tennessee Hillbilly.

My personal favorite spot in Sonoma. Big, monster Zins, beautiful Syrahs and perfect examples of Sonoma Pinot Noirs. Not sure whats up with the lower ratings, Ive visited several times and have had a great experience every time.

Want to thank Linda for the great tasting on Dec 27, 2011. It was great to finally give Martinelli wines a try. If you like Pinot Noir and Zinfandel...go there. And Despite not being a Chardonnay drinker, theres were excellent.

Loved this winery SO much; we visited them 3 times over the course of 7 days.

Martinelli Winery may have the best wine in the world at very fair prices.

We drive past Martinellis every week on our way to croquet and always assumed it was the sparkling cider, so weve never stopped. Today we decided to investigate and what a wonderful surprise it was! We are Chard fans, but we tried the Pinot at Judys urging and it is the absolutely BEST Pinot Ive ever had! Its fruity and smooth...just lovely! Evidently they get very little local business; fellow locals, you are missing out!
