The Wilson Rose Garden

Really gorgeous. Great place to stretch your legs during a long drive. You can tell the community cares.

This is a really pretty place, but we were surprised at just how small the Gardens were. We expected to roam around the roses for a couple of hours, not 1/2 hour.

Over a thousand roses. I go every year, to be a part of the effort to support that beauty.

Personally because I am an outdoors person I loved it. There was not a tour guide but many plants were labelled so it was pretty self explanatory. If you appreciate natures beauty you will probably enjoy it.

This is my favorite place. There are roses of every color. Theyre deadheaded by people and organizations so they bloom long into the fall. However the best time to visit is in May.

There are gorgeous roses of all colors here and they smell amazing!! It is a wonderful place to take pictures. They have a beautiful fountain, a large gazebo, and restrooms.

This is a rose garden. I still havent managed to visit when it was at its peak as far as the roses and blooming. From what I have seen here, it seems to be a nice place. You could rent it for an event if youd like. Id still like to see it at the peak of the rose blooms. This is just one of the interesting places that you can visit in Wilson, NC.

Love this Place! A hidden gem that I use for photoshoots all the time, also a great place for a picnic. So many beautiful roses, and it is usually pretty empty. The only down side is that it is right next to a busy road and in front of this industrial looking building.

Awesome day to walk around the beautiful roses theyre having a contest that my daughter one for painting in the park really nice look and smell the roses like they say in life stop and smell the roses and this the Greek place to do it so when youre out and about and around Wilson you really need to stop by and between May and October

Very pleasant public rose garden +picnic area to visit when weather is bearable Of course its absolutely breathtaking when carefully cared for rosebeds are blooming. I know because Im 1 of a bunch of dead-headers trained to properly trim roses.

It is a stunning Rose Garden that is free to the public. This is open to the public. So many roses! Beautiful!

They work hard to make this place look nice

Beautiful place, and full of different varieties of roses! A treasure of a find after passing by --discovering area. Would have liked to have seen a natural rock formation with roses and maybe a lively and lovely spiral twirly creation, from a great artist of the area, also a few bird houses would have been nice hanging in nearby trees. LOVE IT!
