I would give this ten stars if I could. My favorite ride at BGW. Awesome speed and airtime, no loops, just big hills, great for kids 8-13. Totally recommend it.
My favorite roller coaster at Busch Gardens. Very smooth and line goes through pretty fast. I am not an avid roller coaster rider, but this one is a gem! Would highly recommend riding (you have to try the front car at least once).
Definitely one of my favorites. very smooth and i love how long the ride is.
Loved it when I first rode it I swear my stomach was in my throat I was only 8
My fave ride there !
This ride is not scary. I dont know why everyone thinks it is, but as a thrillseeker, its nothing. It has nice and snug over the shoulder restraints, that secure you in safe and sound. Its standard height for most hypercoasters, and the ride is very smooth. It does have some pretty good scenery if thats what your looking for. If you want to go on a really intense and scary chainlift hypercoaster, go to hershey park and ride Skyrush. Its the only ride that Ive ever felt genuine fear on. Many say its the scariest coaster out their, and competes with the likes of X2 and Intimidator 305.
Almost everything is perfect. The airtime is INSANE. The views are AMAZING. The line is GREAT. The landscaping is PHENOMENAL. Don’t expect it to be something like a Steel Vengeance or a Fury, that’s a bit too much. I was shocked when I looked at the coaster and May 2019 was its 20th anniversary. Highly recommend it, I’d go back there just for this coaster.
This is probably my favorite coaster here but go at night, there is a chance you can probably go twice!
It was the best one for me. I thought the ride on the coaster that looked like classic cars was a lot worse with a sudden drop of track. I forgot the name of that ride but they looked like classic cars. That was much worse.Still a good ride, but not quite in its heyday anymore. Good for the big drop and lots of airtime. Just a little rough around the edges for a steel coaster due to the age.
I was terrified to go on it, but once on it,I felt secure with the way the seats were and the big square padded security bar hugging me tight. The twists and turns were very smooth, not jerky, and no sudden terrifying drops only minor smooth ones. It was the best one for me. I thought the ride on the coaster that looked like classic cars was a lot worse with a sudden drop of track. I forgot the name of that ride but they looked like classic cars. That was much worse.
Best ride in the park. Do not ride first cause it can ruin your experience on other rides. There are levels to this kind of thing so you have been warned
Still a good ride, but not quite in its heyday anymore. Good for the big drop and lots of airtime. Just a little rough around the edges for a steel coaster due to the age.
My favorite hyper coaster. Smooth, steep initial drop, and lots of air time.
This roller coaster is the only roller coaster I can 100% enjoy, as its not a straight drop, its very smooth and is a real thrill seeker for people looking for a good ride! The wait can get long, but in the end, its worth it.
This is one of my all time favorite roller coasters! I love the loops and twists. Look up a video on YouTube to see what it is like.
Best coaster Ive ever been on.
The park was quiet. We got to ride this 3 times in a row. Beautiful views from the top before you drop.
Ive never been on Apollos Chariot, but Im going with my best bet that its pretty good!
Wonderful ride! This is such a smooth coaster and is bound to give you some good air time. The seatbelts are very unique. I always look forward to riding this when I go to Busch Gardens.
Apollos Chariot is the first B&M hyper coaster, and it is still a fantastic ride, and the setting it is in makes it even better! Im very happy they are finally repainting it for its 20th birthday. The most fun and most re-rideable in the park.
Nice coaster, slightly rough edges now but still pretty decent, lots of airtime and comfortable restraints even for larger riders.
I tried this ride at night and it was a blast. 20 years old ride but it is still an outstanding one.
Probably the 1st or 2nd best coaster at Busch Gardens. Very close tie with Alpenqeist.
This roller coaster is in my home park and it is always a favorite coaster of many people in this park it is the original B&M hyper coaster and still runs smooth and gives great rides 20 years later...
No flips, just hills and fast definitely a top hit for me I love speed and this one has that for sure.
We went in late April on a great 7 Day Flex pass that covered Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens with parking included. The pass was available only at Williamsburg. It was great time of the year to go as the lines for the rides were relatively short. Pleasantly surprised on how the clean the park was. I would say cleaner than WDW or Disneyland. Three of us were able to decent lunch for under $30. One thing I found interesting was the park was a little hilly.
Just an excellent B&M hyper. This ride has great airtime, its glossy smooth, and it is pretty dang fast the whole ride. This ride Ive rode at least 100 times and it has always given me a awesome ride, I never noticed it shutting down hardly at all and it definitely #1 in the park in my opinion. You should probably ride it from 11:00 to 6:30 (most preferably around 5:00) and it packs a punch every time you ride it.
Great coaster. Its a long ride with fun all the way. Great for those afraid of inversion.
This ride is my favorite fide at bg because most of the time the lone is short and u have a good time if u like roller coasters.
One of my favorite rides of all time!
Great ride but not my favorite coaster at Bush Gardens
This is the best ride in the park. The operators are awesome and very funny. I love how they interact positively towards the guests. This ride in the front row is AMAZING. This is my number 1 favorite coaster at griffon, closely followed by Griffon which is my number 2 favorite coaster. I can reride over and over and not get tired of it. If you have never ridden this before, your missing out on an awesome ride. The lap restraints are amazing and are my favorite out of all the lap restraints in the park. This is an awesome Bolliger & Mabillard Hyper coaster. Awesome color scheme too.
Lovely coaster. Dont let the basic out and back layout fool you. Its full of wonderful floater airtime. The views from the top of the drop are really nice too.
20 years old and still fun. No upside downs- just up and down drops
Its a fun and smooth ride, and one to definitely stop by when you go to Busch Gardens.
My favorite classic coaster and the first big one I rode as a kid! lol
Great coaster. Smooth ride.
Great roller coaster, not recommended if its your first coaster, but there are many hills and the ride is worth the long line!
This was a very good ride. My son and me rode this ride multiple times.
Favorite ride at Busch! Smooth ride, no flips, several drops, and fast.
Been on some the greatest. This is one the best still
Smooth, fast, lots of small drops and a couple of really big ones. Favorite ride at Busch Gardens
Really good ride.
My absolute favorite park
Best ride there! True roller coaster
I loved this roller coaster. It was really fast. From the top of it, I could practically see all of the other roller coaster. It. Was. Beautiful.
I kind of skipped out on it when I realised it only held you from your lap and didnt go around your shoulders. Btw it is a 210 foot drop on the FIRST ONE. This ride SPECILIZES in drops so of you do not like drops I do not reccomend this ride. Even though me and a few others were wimps and did not go, my other friends loved it.
Best ride at the park for sure.
I love riding the front of this ride. The view is breathtaking day or night. Also, I get such a rush from not having anything holding my torso down - always freaks me out, in a good way. Great roller coaster!
Great coaster. 26 seconds of air time 70+ MPH.
An extremely fun and somewhat unique ride experience. You really do feel almost in freefall at points, and even as you go around the curves, the experience is almost all drops (which is really my favorite part of most roller coasters). Its breezy and its great. And I say this despite having been stuck on it TWO different times.
I LOVE this ride!!! It is amazingly smooth and the longest ride out of the other rides in the park! I love this ride and I look forward to riding it again!
Probably my favorite ride at the park
Fast moving line every time. Long ride.
Awesome coaster. One of my favorites anywhere. Front seat is ok, but the middle is where its at. You get super 0 Gs in the middle.
Great roller coaster!
My sons favorite ride, fast and smooth.
The best roller coaster in ever. I love coasters and the more I ride and different thrills, this one is still the most exciting. If you love drops and the feeling of weightlessness, you will love this coaster too.
One of the best rollercoasters at Busch Gardens. Tons of drops with intense G-forces. Large drops. Overall, a great rollercoaster that will not disappoint.
Closed right now due to Christmas Town, but its fun.
Best ride in the park hands down!
My favorite ride at Busch Gardens!!! I can ride this 30 times in a row!! What a smooth and weeeeeeeee type of ride. Perfect build!
Back seat is the best!
Great ride feels way slower than 72 mph great airtime. Awesome helix. You come out you seat a lot.
Excellent roller coaster. Not the best one in the park, second best, but a must ride.
Best roller coaster there
One of my favorite coasters at Busch Gardens. Still has a smooth ride and great drops! Just dont have a heavy meal before trying it out.
Great speed and drops loved it when I first rode this ride scared me half to death now lol I love it great strength and structure
I have been going to Busch Gardens williamsburg for almost 10 years. Outstanding park! Outstanding coaster! I have ridden Apollos Chariot multiple times, and it never gets old. No inversions necessary.
The ride is super smooth and great airtime
Best roller coaster. hands down. Tons of airtime, very smooth, extremely comfortable restraints. Theres just nothing to hate!
This B&M provides the most airtime you could possibly get. There’s one hill after another and provides a thrilling and smooth experience for all.
Awesome simple ride with drops!
Favorite roller coaster at bgw.
I was just to sacred
This ride is amazing perfect for everyone I think, just a awesome ride.
Really fun roller coaster! There are other hyper coasters out there that are more fun, but Apollos Chariot is still great!
So fun! Went 3 times with my friends! My favorite roller coaster ever!
Good smooth coaster.
Mine and my daughters favorite ride at the park, great drops and it seems to keep going and going!
A more relaxing coaster than most, gives some great air-time and has a layout that is different from any other coaster made by Bolliger and Mabillard. A must ride while your at the park.
Best ride in the park. Smooth, great views, good speed.
Still love it !
Ride in the front row for the most intense ride and ride in the back for lots of air time.
The zero gravity is quite relaxing for those who like roller coasters.
Might be older but totally one of the best. Its by far the longest and the staff let us ride 4 times at the end of the night without getting off once.
Great air time.
Lol I cried first time rider...where are the seats belts? Holding on to dear life feet wrapped around the dam pole???? Dont judge me...lmao
It fun ride but some days the ride runs better then other day the best time to ride is in October for some oddReason it fun ride
I rode this coaster more then 180 times it never gets old
I just rode a Apollos Chariot and it was a blast. My daughter and me ride twice. Its a fun ride with no inversions . I had fun you will to.
Best ride ever
A good B&M roller coaster
Amazing Ride, I absolutely love the air time on this roller coaster, rated #1 out of the 45 coasters i have been on in my short life.
The first drop is the worst, the rest is pretty in chill.
Fun roller coaster
One of the best coasters Ive been on, especially from the front row.
Gotta love B&M coasters and this one stands out for me as one of my favorite hypercoasters... Its a perfectly smooth ride from start to finish with air time hills throughout along with some great curves and helixes. I compare this to Nitro at Great Adventure. A must try and Ive never actually had to wait for this ride. Front row is the best.
Best ride in the park!
