The shop of the wigmaker is designed to show you what the art was like in the 18th century. You can listen to the story of how wigs were fashionable.

I love the wig shop at CW! It is the reason I started making wigs myself. The wig makers often reference Didereot and Garsault a LOT but they dont seem to actually be familiar with the texts.

Fascinating collection of period wigs and an actual wig-maker who will explain the process and fashion of wigs in the Colonial Era. Well worth stopping in if you are doing the Colionial Williamsburg experience.
