Great family park. Offers adult outside exercise equipment, playground, open field and playing field with backstop. Lots of tables as well as tables under shelters with barbecue stations.

Beautiful Park in a great neighborhood. Two full size basketball courts with spectator bleachers. Su baseball fields with dugouts. Greenfields outdoor fitness area. Several park benches with BBQs. Two jungle gyms for different ages. Its a nice size car that you can fly a kite walk the dog, or just to spend a nice Sunday enjoying family and friends.

I love this place, great for trying to make new friends(unless you have social anxiety) it is a great place to take families here. At this park they have grills that you can bbq on. If anything plan your next family get together to be at this park.

A very nice place to meet wonderful and caring people. Non-judgement zone. My kids love it here,lots to do. clean restrooms, big library, exercise station. Dogs enjoy the open field. Its the only Park in Whittier open 24/7. You cant park at the park overnight but you can be at the park (all night long)(x2). Sorenson is a nice park.

Very nice park with a toddler area as well as bigger kid area. Also has a rock climbing wall. A lot for a kid to explore and spend energy.

The park is very well taken care of. Lots of open space and trees to have a picnic. There are tables and benches, but I didnt count how many. They have two play areas, one for small children and the other for big kids. Theres basketball courts and parking spaces on two sides of the park. Also there is a libary if you want to read a book under the shade of the trees.

My kids love this park, the only inconvenience is that they put like wood chips on floor where playground is, when kids fall can get easily hurt. My kids have gotten splinters in their hands when falling.

My son and I arrived about 15 minutes ago and actually the park looks nice and we were having a good time. We walk halfway around the park only to start hearing some cussing behind us and somebody talking about Casper, lol, I know right. As we continued to walk we see about 16 or so people screaming and yelling at each other and then it quickly escalated to them beating the crapped out of each other. Nice park but just be careful I guess.

It’s a nice park but when I was using the restroom the guy that cleans the restroom told me to leave the restroom to clean it and I still had to go to the restroom and I told my mom so she will take me to use the bathroom somewhere else . But it’s a beautiful, lovely, quiet park

The highlight of this park was it having a clean restroom. that may not be every time but it made my visit a bit better. its spacious and easy to look around and laze around for the afternoon. the parking isnt too bad around the area either as its easy to find a spot

Love this park! Playground is big and has a lot of fun stuff for little kids to do. It is also surrounded by trees so it stays cool and shaded. Bathrooms are right by the playground. Very convenient.

Drunks and bums beware

I like it but sometimes the parking quickly fills up. I like when that have family events and concerts in the Summer.

Restrooms are closed way too early. Around 5pm they were closed. And park was really muddy. Nice shade tho and clean park.

Exercise equipment, baseball field, green grass, tables.

Good play area & exercise area offers a good workout it is unshaded. Kids lunch/movie time works but food could be healthier. Week days are nearly empty but weekends are very crowded. Recent improvements are noted.

Airways a Good park for a morning walk with puppy

Clean park, nice staff. Great place for parties with good tree coverage for shade and lots of space to play. Playground is modern. Restrooms are not so great. Also new to this park is Concerts in summer on Saturday evenings.

Beutifull park..

We love to go ski at Winter Park. There are multiple mountain areas with many runs for all skill levels. I love that their signage on the mountain is very clear so you dont accidentally go down a more challenging run without realizing it. The resort area has a Starbucks and multiple restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed pizza from Pizza Pedalr and an apres ski beverage at Derailer. There are lockers you can rent in various places at the base area and even on the mountain. Even various places to get food, water, etc scattered all around the mountain. There was even a Heat Hut to stop in and warm up a few minutes between runs!You can park for free at a various lots, but need to be early if you want to park in the lot close enough to walk over to the base area. Otherwise youll need to take a shuttle bus to/from the parking lot to the base area.Winter Park is a popular place with many visiting people staying right there in the resort area, so this can lead to some crowded conditions, especially around the weekends and holidays.Youll want to try to save money with a 2-pack or 4-pack of tickets, as purchasing individual days of lift tickets can get pricey ($125+/day).

Great park and staff. Friendly atmosphere. Also the library is very nice. Love taking my kids here. I definitely recommend it.

In Sorensen Park is the Senior Citizen Center which everybody can use love the fact that Knitters and crochets gather there on Fridays has room for quite a few things to do card playing in it one room Knitters and crochets in another room if you just want to sit quietly and read you can do that they also have bookshelves and you can get books there too

This Saturday December 29th Las Flores & the Rockin Jardineros will be playing in the Sorensons park Winter concert From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. so bring your lawn chairs and listen to music and even dance if you want to.
