Beautiful and peaceful park to walk in. Not very big, but very pretty!

Vinhus help make my daughters first communion a great experience! Though circumstances prevented a usual family gathering, Vinhus provided an intimate setting where we can celebrate. Food was excellent and service was friendly.

Attended an outdoor wedding. Great weather and a terrific location. Convenient.

Lovely park but lacking facilities other than cushioned childrens climbing and play area Often a lot of teenagers in the evening. They leave takeout trash and often beer and other alcohol cans and bottles around the playground and gazebo. With no toilet facilities, guests have no option other than ducking behind bushes, etc., where paper is also tossed. Who cleans this, and how? The maintenance I see is to empty trash cans, which have very mixed trash and recyclables. As with Nomahegan, grounds keepers mow before picking up cans, bottles. or garbage.

Beautiful and clean. My kids love the playground, and i take gorgeous Christmas photos there each year.

Just an all around lovely park, with a gazebo, little walkover bridges and in the heart of a lovely town.

The ducks followed me. I was so happy. It was good. Not bad. Also my moms butterfly is posted there. Yay!

Omg, I cant say enough good things about this new an improved park. It is awesome what theyve done to provide kids with a safe and fun place. There is something for kids of all ages just about. If youre kid can walk or run its for them. My favorite aspect is there are no wood chips! Thank you Westfield for upping the standards of what a park should look like! ️

A beautiful park near the police station.

It’s a nice park with a big pond and multiple families of ducks. Parking is free and the neighborhood has shops for food too

Mindowaskin Park is a cute place, Ive been going there all my life.The scenery is beautiful, especially in the fall when the leaves change colors. They treat the lake so there arent any mosquitos which is great. Every now and then I see people having wedding pictures being taken there.Its a great place to take your family on a nice walk. There is a park that they just redid, and its really nice. The park is down the street from the main part of Downtown Westfield which is a really nice place to walk around for a few hours.Ive been coming here all my life, and I plan on continuing to go. I plan on taking my kids here when Im a parent.

Awesome ducks nature great walk

Beautiful little Park in the middle of Westfield. Large lake with an island lots of trees shade a nice gazebo and little Bridges. Also a very nice playground.

Very clean and spacious. Parents and kids are friendly and respectful of the park rules.

Stopped by during the evening and found it very hard to find parking. It had just rained and puddles of water was on some of the walks. So walks also had some mud.Overall the park is very nice looking with meandering walks and a beautiful pond / brook. The gazebo was lit which looked nice. I am not sure what takes place in the gazebo but, it would have been nice to have a couple of benches.

Nice small family friendly

Mindowaskin Park is one of my favorites in Westfield. There is a pond in the center which was recently dredged (and now looks great) as well as a small stream, grass field, gazebo, and playground. A cool place to go to hang out, or even picnic.

The park itself is great, but they have the worst merry-go-round known to man. You have to literally be a circus strong man to turn it at all, and as soon as you let go it grinds to a sad, disappointing stop. Also you have to park nose first and that’s terrible.

Beautiful park. Not like ones in the poor neighborhoods. This park has all the safety features you can ask for. Cushioned floors surround entire kids play area. Great activity courses. Swings,slides,spinning carousels. Wish they would invest money in the inner cities like they do here. Very upper class parks

Best playground in the area for the really little ones! They have a very extensive play area designed for 2-5 years old! Also lots of soft ground for my little one to practice walking.

Lots of people on a Friday evening in September. Everyone was friendly and considerate. Parents were playing with their kids on the playground which was nice to see.

This is a great park. It is beautiful and clean and safe. The kids playground is amazing. The closest bathroom is at the police station by the entrance.

Its a nice park in the heart of Westfield. Its a quiet place to enjoy nature and conversation with a friend. The geese and ducks land in The pond in the middle of the park.

It was good. But really hot. They should post cool mist areas and benches for the parents to sit under the shade.

Wonderful, small but has lots of features. Very clean and well maintained. There is limited amount of swings and to you may have to wait in the line, but there is lots of other things to do

Great, clean past k in the heart of Westfield. Lots to do for toddlers and young kids. The turf is great to save them from falls. Our kids really love the slides and the variety of swings.

Great little park. Plenty of shade, plenty of benches. A nice gazebo. And for those interested in Pokemon Go, theres about 6 gyms and maybe 10 stops. Also, less than a 5 minute walk to Downtown, where theres a variety of eateries and shops.

Beautiful park, my kids and I have been going there since they were very young, however, teenagers are gathering by the playground lately, doing teenager stuff in the middle of young children dangerously climbing on top of structures that are not intended for that . I think police need to patrol the playground installations and guarantee the safety of the children before an accident happens...

Nice park...I was there getting my car back. The Westfield police are terrible though and had the car towed, rather than let me move it 10 feet into a parking lot.

Bring a chair since there is nothing at all to sit on, and standing does get very tiring, otherwise it is great.

A good way to experience small town America. Nice night. Great concert and old time bandshell. What a nice time to hear the Westfield Symphony orchestra. The fountain and the colored lights were a nice touch when the sunset. Lots of benches and a good walking path.

Perfect for kids

When I lived in Westfield, this was one of my favorite places to stroll. In the spring and summer its common to see wedding parties taking photos at the gazebo. If youre an Ingress or Pokemon Go player, this park has an incredible density of game points.

Nice little park. Saw an egret there along with a bunch of frogs. Unfortunately there was also some trash in the pond and it was a bit eutrophic but nice overall.

Playground for kids has no seating. Adults and older kids sit or occupy young children play items such as swings etc. Why no seating?
