I visited the Miller-Cory House for the first time since Ive moved to Westfield. This is a cool trip to take if you live locally, and dont mind spending an hour or two learning about local history. I recommend if youve never been!

If you are interested in early Colonial history, then this is the place for you! This 1740 homestead recounts how life was for the Miller & Cory families who lived in this home from the founding of our country to the end of the 1800s. Costumed docents explain life for early Americans and recall how dedicated early Westfield residents struggled to farm the land and battle the weather. Pay a visit to this one in a kind home.

Very realistic portrait of a period of time in Westfield history. The house is original and the volunteers there do an excellent job explaining all of the artifacts and rooms.
