My favorite place to be not just during the summer, but year round. I love the peace and tranquility and enjoy the wild life. My grandkids love being pulled on the tube with the boat. Water skiing and of course swimming and fishing . In the winter its ice fishing and skating.

Its nice for the family and have a good time I enjoyed a lot they have BBQS.

Great place to cool off. Place opens at 10am. I came here on a Sunday to see if I could test out my new scuba suit unfortunately they dont allow snorkeling. Place has changing rooms, bathrooms, grilling areas and allow dogs on leashes. Mass residents pay $8 . Clean place, water was warm and pond overall is shallow came up to my hips makes it safe for families with young children. You can also bring your kayak and small boat. Glad I came. Highly recommend.

The place is good if you want to stay by the water and fry meat, spend time with family and friends. There are many tables, toilet. There is a swimming area and parking. But I dont like opening hours. Late to open and close early. For the summer period, this watch is not successful. And the rest I like this lake and its arrangement.

Theres Dog Poop everywhere other than that its a nice place,Friendly staff..

Grew up here and have fond memories of biking and fishing and hanging out on the beach with cousins. Beautiful little area with a couple areas to swim, sometimes the pond water isnt good though (bacteria!) so double check.

Very Relaxing to me the only thing they close early at 6pm

Had an excellent time with the kids. 2 beaches 1 guarded 1 that is not. I suggest the non guarded one bring pool toys and have a blast. Grills,Picnic tables, Bath houses.

Nestled in Westfield is a beautiful small lake surrounded by homes, hilly terrain and woodlands. It has several nice sized beaches some with shelters, picnic areas & fire boxes for grilling to entertain families on those hot summer days. There is boating, canoeing, paddle boats, water skiing, fishing, hiking and lots of other ways to enjoy yourself. It makes for a picturesque setting with many of subjects just poising for you to take a picture. Walk the streets with the shore homes youll be surprised. There is a Fighter Reserve Base near by and youigjt get a to see F18s taking off vertically, fly around usually in pairs and close ups as they land. It is quite a sight. Enjoy, we certainly did and will again.

It is a nice place to fish and use your boat. They also have swimming available for a fee to the state park.

Great place to bring the kids for a birthday party, cook out, or just to relax. Swimming, grills, and fishing. There is even a boat ramp!

First time here and it wont be our last. It has a picnic area with grills, the water area, and even have dressing rooms. We loved this pond!

It was ok just make sure you bring an umbrella if you want to be on the beach. Sun beams pretty hard.

I had a birthday party for my dad here last year and it was the best decision I made. We got there early enough to secure a few tables under the huge gazebo and there was plenty of grills. The water doesnt stink like I expected a pond would and the sand is SO soft. I would definitely recommend this pond for family gatherings or just to bring a towel and relax in the sand. Even when the parking lot is packed the beach doesnt feel crowded.

I 100% recommend this park for a date or family outing location. You can hike uphill (significantly steep) or drive all the way up the mountain and park (paid parking). Either way, the view from the top is incredible and there are picnic tables and rocks to sit on while you enjoy it.

Beautiful & the water is crystal clear and warm water. BUT the life fairs are incredibly young & childish- one of the females was dropping the F bombs and referring to her other lifeguards as “bitches” this was after they kicked all the kids out of the water to practice whatever it is they were supposed to be doing?? They just hung out and horsed around with each other...doing things they would have told our children NOT to do...were paying for THIS?? Not cool...ignore o haven’t heard her drop about 5 F-bombs I would have let all this nonsense slide but There were families there and that’s behavior is t cool-

This state park is great. It has a double wide boat launch that is open 24/7. The lake is best for smell/medium sized boats but is still fun on boats a little larger. The park is staffed with rangers and is kept clean. It does have a beach.

Nice friends and nice weather is a nice mix, we couldnt catch anything but was a nice time with friends and also this place has nice views, also is is a nice place to go with your children an just chill there.

Part of the beach area was closed due to some type of bacterial contamination? We picked up a few pieces of glass on the beach without having to really look. You need to be careful when youre there. The picnic tables have rotted boards on the top almost everyone. Being a state park I would expect it to be kept up a little bit better than this.That being said the staff was great! The lifeguards were very attentive and friendly. There was staff in a golf cart who are cleaning up and gave anyone who needed it a garbage bag who was using the lunch areas so we can keep that clean.Bathrooms were quite clean.

Park guys are a bit annoying with their atv.

This place was great with large beaches. We went with kids and the had a great time. Pack a lunch and maybe an umbrella if you are sun sensitive like me.

The weekend during the summertime are extremely packed. The swim areas are small and thet do not allow you to swim in other locations. They dont let you bring any floaties of any kind. The people who visit, are rude and loud.

It was much different coming back as an adult! Its about $10.00 dollars to park and there isnt a soda machine or any vendors or anything, just sand and a fairly small size of room roped off to swim. I didnt mind the fish swimming around us, but I didnt like all the rocks and seaweed and other debris. It wasnt a place I would recommend to go swimming. They also have people get out of the water so the lifeguards can do 15 minute checks.

Great place but signage needs a little work, sorry I was still inside at 4:07 but website says open till 8pm. Thanks for being patient DCR worker. 4th of July, maybe a different story but 4th of April, this place is GREAT!

Great close locale place in the summer for seimming and fishing.All kinds of fish.....caught a nice pickeral last time i was there....the water is clean !!!......canoe rentals.

I always go fishing/kayaking here. I would suggest getting in through the back entrance before 10am during the summer season because its free. However, its great to support out state parks!

Theres two spots to swim and they arent big compared to other places Ive been. They have bathrooms, life guards on duty, seating areas and shade from Sun. You can picnic here as well. But they only accept cash ($8 to go in) plus you cant use a diving mask here. And be sure to bring mosquito spray.

Its nice to kayak until the jet ski people show up. The state only opens one beach and its not one of the better beaches around.

The workers work hard to keep the place clean. But still always some sort of trash. Thats mostly because of lazy patrons. Nice place for kids to play in the sand.

On July 4th they had great security and attentive lifeguards.

Has a boat ramp great for kayaking also good swimming and fishing spots. Mainly pan fish that bite anything moving or live bait.

If i could give a 0 i would. This place is a waste of 8$ dont do it. Kids cant play with anything in the water. They can have floats on their arms. Sand is dirt and the place sucks.

Everything is great here except the older staff, always trying to get people out of the park like 30 before the park actually closes!

Park looks ok,,,,but since we got ther the staff staring say,,,,,cant do this,,cant do that,,,cant do this and cant do that. And the water doesnt look safety for your ears,,,,lots of green stuff coming from the bottom.
