Very pleasant experience dealing with the folks at Andy’s. I took 5 fragile water colors painted by my Grandmother and was very pleased with the result. Karen helped me pick frames and matting. She was “right on” with her suggestions and very helpful. I would definitely recommend using Andy’s services.

This was my first time ever framing anything and from the moment I walked in the staff made me feel right at home, were very knowledgeable and over delivered! All 3 of my frames came out much better than I expected and look beautiful on my walls. I can’t thank Andy and his crew enough!!!

Last June (2017) my daughter and I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend five nights attending a certain concert tour here in Columbus. Since it is her favorite band, and I enjoy them as well, it made it even more special. The very first show I noticed a souvenir that said Limited Edition - Total of 54 and I new that each show would have these. Right then I knew that I wanted to get a souvenir from each show and make something special for her for Christmas. In October I went in to Andys shop and met with him, taking in a simple drawing and an idea of having the whole thing matted and framed. Andy spent a good 1/2 hour with me and the drawing going over my idea, asking me questions, and making suggestions. I wanted to add the concert tickets from each show, and photos from each show to this project along with a small poster. Andys first question was what do you want to accomplish with this project? I told him that attending all 5 shows was a once in a lifetime experience, and I wanted this project to be a one of a kind once in a lifetime gift. With that answer, he replied Then this needs to be a shadow box, and not a matted piece. THAT is where the 1/2 hour came into effect. He explained what his idea was, brought out examples, pulled out frame colors and styles, and laid out one of my souvenirs along with a photo and the poster so I could visually see what it was going to look like. He took the time to measure each piece, so I could easily figure out the size pictures I needed to print for my project. Christmas came and went and I was not able to obtain the Night 4 souvenir. Fast forward to February of this year (2018) and I got my hands on the missing piece. My daughters birthday was coming up the beginning of March so I immediately went into Andys shop. Low and behold he remembered me and the project. He didnt have my information in the computer so this was most impressive. We met for another 1/2 hr going over the project again. I let him know that the original picture sizes we spoke of would not print properly and gave him what I had. He said no problem, I can make this work. While he had everything, I decided to change one of the pictures (lower right corner of the drawing) and I brought him two photos to ask his opinion. After not being able to decide, I just said you decide and surprise me. Fast forward again to my daughters birthday, and I went to pick this up. It is a HUGE piece. Roughly 4x4 and he used both pictures that I couldnt decide on. I left it wrapped in the brown paper that it came in from the frame shop. I had her close her eyes and stood it up in front of her. When she opened it, it literally took her breath away. She couldnt speak, and the tears rolled down her face. THAT is what Andy did for me. Are there box stores out there that can do custom framing at a lower price? Probably. The better question is, can those people look at what you have, build something based on your ideas, and make a truly one of a kind piece? Probably not. If you want your piece done right, and you want personal service then I can not recommend Andys Frame Setting any more than to say This is where you NEED to go. THANK YOU ANDY!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You turned my idea into a reality and made a gift that will last my daughter a lifetime.

Wonderful place for custom framing with reasonable pricing and great customer service. I have had a number of custom frames done over the years at places like Joanns or Hobby Lobby and you always have to wait for their fake sales to even make any project affordable. But at Andys the framing is always priced appropriately and the personal touch to each framing item is perfection. Highly recommend!

I had a Chinese Character tapestry framed in December 2018 because I could not find a frame that would work. The result is beautiful and the advice of which type of frame, glass, and border were excellent. I will definitely go back for any future framing needs.

Andy provides fantastic service and is a great resource for addressing all of your framing/art needs. Andy does not simply frame your art--but he asks questions to get a sense of the setting where the art will appear and of the type of look you want to achieve. I have had many cross-stitch pictures mounted, matted and framed at the Andys Framer Setting store. They are always wonderful about suggesting frame styles when I explain my vision and very patient about calculating the cost for each frame. Andy handles framing the needlework and does an excellent job of working with the difficult fabrics and ensures that the material is straight in the frame. He takes the time to make sure there are no floating threads that can be seen through the material and that the fabric is taunt with no wrinkles.I highly recommend this store for your framing needs.

Great custom work!

I just dropped off two more pieces to Andys Frame Shop last evening. Why? you might ask...because theyve done five (5) other pieces for us with superb quality. The old adage goes you get what you pay for and they are well worth the money. While you might find cheaper options around, Andys huge variety of frames, helpful/friendly staff and excellent finish work make it our only stop for framing. I highly recommend them, especially if you are looking for quality workmanship and an attention to detail that is hard to find most other places anymore.October 2016Andys Frame Setting just completed another two pieces for me for my wifes birthday. They took a rough idea from me of how I wanted to frame two pictures and made it a beautifully finished reality. Exactly why I continue to go back and give them my business!

We framed two large paintings and they look fabulous. Karen was extremely helpful selecting matting and colors to compliment the paintings. The choice in wood frames is extensive and she helped narrow down choices and the final product was better than expected. We just had two art pieces framed and again, the staff - Andy this time - was very helpful in offering his artistic opinion to ensure we love these pieces forever. I have been using Andys Frame Settings since he opened on Cleveland Avenue several years ago and have followed him as he to moved different locations. Every piece of art - whether it was a family heirloom, counted cross stitch pieces, photo of a special place, or a cheap poster the framing was done with the same quality workmanship and care. Super fast and excellent quality! We had a special picture fall and break the frame and glass. We took it to Andy to have it repaired. Ended up the frame was beyond repair. Andy suggested some changes and a new frame. We expected this to take a few days, but Andy called only HOURS after we dropped it off! The picture looks better than ever thanks to Andys help and we had it back up by the end of the day. Highly recommend Andy for any framing needs, the price was much lower than we expected and the quality higher than we could imagine, and dont forget fast!

Unbelievable! Andy helped me frame a picture for my wifes office from our trip to Venice. He printed it to canvas, and chose the perfect frame to match her office decor. The result is better than I ever would have imagined, and the cost was significantly less than previous framesetters I have used.
