I was amazed at how many awesome things are at this park! There is an enormous playground where kids have what could be its own self contained park, but then theres giant field after giant field of grass and pavilions and plenty of garbage cans so you feel guilty if you dont throw your stuff away. Amazing park.

Drive through storybrooke for Christmas, kids had fun, beautiful looking park. Were new to West Jordan, and will definitely be visiting during the daytime, playgrounds looked epic!

This park is huge. There is always plenty of parking and lots of space even if there are a lot of people there. There are multiple playground areas and a veterans memorial in the middle. The east end has new playground equipment. There is a large oval drive that you can walk around. Very nice place.

Best park in town, hands down. Its huge. Biggest playground Ive ever seen. Acres of grass, basketball, volleyball. Plus its literally in the same parking lot as the beautiful West Jordan library.

Great park! I love the location. It is a very easy walk from the Trax station (¼ mile).The park itself covers about 100 acres. As of this writing there are 4 different playgrounds. There is actually a 5th currently under construction. When it is finished it will dwarf the size of the other 4. It looks like a lot of fun (I posted photos of the construction area behind the fence).As you would imagine, in addition to the playgrounds, there are tennis courts, basketball courts, and several baseball diamonds. There are picnic tables, covered pavilions (with tables), drinking fountains, restrooms, and doggy clean-up stations at various locations throughout the park. Some of the larger pavilions can be reserved for special occasions. Phone numbers for reservations are posted at each pavilion.There is a lot of wide open space with a lot of mature trees for shade. There is also a Veteran Memorial in the center of the park with flags, plaques and water features. Just across from the memorial are several historic buildings and vehicles that were a lot of fun to learn about. All in all it is the perfect place to spend the day with the family.As I mentioned above, there is currently a larger playground under construction near the east end of the park. Toward the West end there is a recreation center. The rec center has its own outdoor playground for smaller kids as well as baseball diamonds. Inside the rec center there are a couple swimming pools under construction that should be finished before the end of the year. Im not sure if the rec center itself is open yet. Youll have to do a little sleuthing of your own to determine that one. Go have fun and enjoy! We did!

Great park, they redid the main playground recently and I hadnt visited since, but the kids and I enjoyed the new playground and the Library close by makes it a great after library visit.

Gigantic, beautiful park. Lots of high quality play areas, and room to run around. Large pavilion, and the lawn and trees are well maintained. Plenty of garbage cans. Four stars because the bathrooms are locked, and there was only one port-o-potty in horrific condition.

Pokemon paradise! If you want to catch a lot of Pokemon then this Park is the place! I used to think 5*raid battles were hard, but not at this Park! Theres always fellow trainers that join the battles! Worth the trip to catch them all from anywhere in the salt lake valley!

Great park centrally located in the valley. Love meeting up with friends and family here, either to hang while the kids play on the new playground, or to catch some pokemon.Im a geek. Sue me.

This place is a great place with lots of little play grounds abounding around. Each of them offering something different. Though the best one is the one with little play town, homes and such located by the very nice library. A library which has hosted to a multitude of events and offerings inside separate of it perusal of books.

Great place for families to unwind outside. There are at least 3 playground sets, many shady picnic areas and a lot of options for playing sports like tennis, basketball, etc. We enjoyed the picnic and playground areas.

They have a brand new playground and its AMAZING!! There are plenty of picnic tables around, and a pavilion. The playground is great for all ages. Its our family favorite park!

Absolutely wonderful! So large and diverse. There was plenty of play equipment, picnic area, grassy area, long trail, library across quiet street, close restrooms, plenty of parking...etc. Great for a large or small gathering.

We love this park! There is so much grass space to play in but lots of fun playgrounds for different ages, as well.

My Son would play for HOURS if time was not a factor. This is a great place for children to burn some energy.

Love coming here for a few minutes each September 11th to remember what happened that day and to teach our children about the importance of freedom and the price it sometimes costs to keep.

Lots of different parks but the wild west one was our favorite. Lots of things to do.

Veterans Memorial park is green, clean, and massive. This is the perfect spot to bring the family for relaxation and fun. The park has public bathrooms, trash bins, and plenty of parking. There are a number of playgrounds to chose from, and you will never feel like your packed in next too a bunch of other people. I highly recommend visiting this park. The memorial monument in the center is also worth taking a moment to look at.

This is one of my favorite parks in the valley and my 5 and 7 year olds agree.

10 Stars! I love this park. It has everything, play groud, splash pad, sandbox (has a place to wash your hands). Its great for little kids. They have a play ground that is for little kids 2-5 which I love because some times the bigger kids can be a little rough. So thats really nice. They have the slides and swings for The splash pad has a water fall. Im not sure why they didnt put the bathrooms near the splash pad? But I guess a little exercise never hurt. The parking is great they have 3 pavilions. Basket ball. Possibly 2 tennis courts. Ugh I could go on and on. My 3 year old is always asking to go here!

An incredible park with lengthy walking paths and lots of grassy area. Extremely well maintained.

Absolutely beautiful, nice to see people out enjoying the park as well was a little hot but sprinklers were on for children. Great place will be back for sure.

The new park is fun. We had so much to explore and see. One thing I did miss about the old park was the fencing around it. I had a hard time keeping up with my kid or being able to see him from any one point and the idea of not having any controlled entrance or exit gave me anxiety knowing someone could take him and run. Also the zip line was cool but it could use stairs behind it getting up to the ramp so that kids arent trying to walk up the ramp in the way of others going down with the Zipline plowing them over.There are little swing looking devices within the playground that look really dangerous. The 3 year old tried to stand on one and would have fallen and hit his head. They are in close proximity to things you can hit your head on... We watched a little girl fall and just barely miss a platform next to her head.Lots of fun photo op spots for parents that like taking pictures.Lack of wood chips makes me a happy mother.Lots of sitting room.

This parks awesome. If you have kids there is a ton of different playgrounds. Their wild west playground is probably the best in the valley.

This park is huge, with lots of lawn and large mature trees creating cool shade. A perfect place for social distance visits.

The new Wild West Jordan Park here is wonderful. There is so much to do and explore for both young and older kids. It has all of our favorite playground elements: Zipline, soft non-mulch ground, lots of different slides, rock climbing walls, merry go round, etc.! Love having the library right across the way as well. There are also a few other older playgrounds within Veterans Park.

This place has a ridiculous ammount of parks. Its awesome for my little one. Different park everyday, plus the big park is pretty awesome.

This place has a lot to offer! A basketball court with 6 hoops. Multiple baseball fields. A really nice playground for kids. You can jog around the park and work out. Its near a pool and a rec center. Its also safe with a police station nearby.

They have remodeled the far Eastern side of the park. It seems a lot bigger and equipment for everyone including disabilities. My kids played here for 2 hours and still didnt want to leave. There are swings including ones for a baby and parent. There is a Zipline, lots of slides and plenty of things to climb on. I think this park is better then the last one they had built. There are plenty of benches for sitting and lots of grass to lay on.

I respect for the people who have fought in the war for are freedom so its a nice place to visit

This is by far, our favorite Park we will ever spend time at. We hang out here all year long for the last 7 years :-) its safe its clean its kid-friendly its amazing.

Love this park! Great for longboarding, walking my dog, barbecues, and catching pokemons! The playgrounds are big and unique! Go visit! They also have a pool near by.

This park is so cute! My four boys loved it. They have a little bit of everything for all ages from toddlers to even teens would enjoy. I recommend taking your kiddos there. Its kind of quiet but nice and clean.

Nice big park. They have a really nice playground. Its supposed to be getting a new playground this Fall with accessibility features. It has tennis but no pickle ball courts. They have a lot of baseball fields which is fun during the season. The public library and rec center are right there too, so they have some events and things. The picture is when they were doing a summer reading kick off event.

I love this Park Is huge! Theres a huge playground for the kids and theres a basketball court a tennis court a volleyball court and I think theres an Olympic swimming pool

Great place. There is multiple baseball diamonds, tennis courts and several play grounds. Great place to walk/run and bike. Has picnic tables. Also the library in the same lot. The sidewalk around the park is flat however there are obstacle stations like pull-up bars, monkey bars etc...I take my 2 dogs there for exercise of the leash. There is one baseball diamond that is completely fenced.

I’m glad The Wild West Jordan Playground is finally open! The old park was fun, but this is better. There aren’t any weird places kids or transients can hide and do weird things and leave weird things behind. They have shade which I love. Lots of fun new equipment. I was hoping it would be a little bigger or something along the lines of Loadstone Park, but at least this is a huge improvement on what they had.

It was great, I took my 2018 Chevy Camero Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition there to enter it in the 8th annual charity car show, but more importantly, to support a good cause, which is the childrens justice center supportingchild victims of crime, so bringing my car around in the morning to get it registered, I was greeted by Sim Gill (district attorney for SLC) such a nice guy a pleasure being around him, he had a wonderful smile, he shook my hand, and said thank you for supporting childrens justice center, later he came and looked at my car and took a picture with me, the event was very successful, it didnt matter to me if I won anything, just to be there was a fun day, I enjoyed talking to people, it was fun to show and talk about my car, there was plenty of amazing vehicles alot of people take pride in their cars their cars are their pride and joy, the people that worked there did a amazing job putting the show together, I had called Megan and talked to her about my car, she encouraged me to bring it, such a wonderful person, JEN, brought me water a couple of times, so friendly, I enjoyed her also, it was a great day !!

Great memories have been made here. They are always looking at ways to make the park better. Havent been to the new playground yet. Kids called the old one the castle park. Im glad they took it down. Kids could get in crazy places by digging and hiding. Dangerous! The new one looks fantastic and NO MORE woodchips. Love the new added entrance off of 2200 West. The library is just off the park road as well. One stop Shop!!!

Just a very pleasant place to go.

This place was a blast for my nieces. They recently made a rather large renovation to the kids play area that was well done and much needed. Your kids should love it. Kids area is not only thing. Library nearby. They occasionally have events like 4the of July carnival and fireworks. Dog shows and movies in the park. Great place to picnic if it is not too cold. Has a water park nearby. Has government buildings and places to put voting ballots in box. Basketball courts. Tennis courts. Lots of space. A nice area to memorialize our countries service members with plaques and memorabelia.

Its a big park with plenty of different play grounds so it doesnt feel crowded and its across from the west jordan police station so its a safe park. The main playground is being redone abd looks awesome! Cant wait till its done!

A great place to walk. The memorial to the people who severed in the military is well done. Then there this great park for the kids. I believe sponsored by Mountain America.

I have always thought that tihs park is wonderful.

We go here all the time its huge always clean and well maintained. Love that the library and the events area are right by here. Great place to just hang out, walk around, there a several place grounds for kids and they are putting in a new main one right now. Theres lots of baseball fields and a volley ball court. This is one of the best and nicest parks around.

The park has nice open space but also a lot of trees for shade.

The playground is awesome! But it is always overcrowded.

My kids loved this park. Very cool style wild West play area as well as another area that has zip lines. One for small children which u can sit down in and enclosed seat. And a bigger style for the older kids. Lots of fun play areas. Very clean park

Theres a really fun fort with lots of little hiding places. My kids are 10 and 6 and they loved it. Even with tons of people, there is still room for everyone to play. We also played at the other playground and it has a zip line!

Great park, so glad its be redone. Perfect for all ages. I have a one year old and a three year old and the really could utilize multiple different areas of the park. Good quality and really diverse activities!

Great patriotic Main Park for West Jordan. Museum, Library, Performing Arts Center (opening 2019), Huge military service memorial, Baseball park, Swimming and fitness centers, senior center. Adjacent to the State Courts, City Courts and City Hall. UTA Trax Light Rail is less than one mile away.

This park is the most awesome park. Just scroll through the photos and you can see how elaborate the playground is. Its pretty much like a huge fort, and so much fun for kids. Its not really the kind of park where you can just sit under a shady tree and let your kids go. You kind of have to follow them around so you dont lose them, but hey at least you get a workout.

Love this park. Perfect for Pokemon go! We just walk in a big circle and hit so many pokestops and gyms!!! Only downside...so many dogs off-leashes. Wouldnt be to much of a problem except I go with my friend and her dog. Her dog if course is on a leash and I dont care how friendly your dog is you cant control what either if them will do when they meet. Ugh. Other than that the park is great. Usually not to busy and plenty of room to walk around and get steps/Pokemon.

A lot of playgrounds to take your kids to, one of them just got newly remodeled. The library on site is very nice. If you play Pokemon GO its a great place to walk around with plenty of stops and gyms.

Very big place and playgrounds for the kids!!

They knocked down the wooden play area we were disappointed it was gone on our last visit. Hoping it gets rebuilt or something else pops up. We stayed anyway and played at one of the other playgrounds in the park.

The new redesign is amazing! This is the most impressive park I have seen. There are so many different activities for kids.

Small park but very accessible

I am SO furious to come here and see it torn down!!! I can’t believe they replaced the most unique park with the most basic park that is like everything else. You should’ve RESTORED A NEW WOODEN park instead of replaced it with whatever this is!! The money would’ve been worth how iconic and sentimental this place was. So disappointed in West Jordan

The new playground is nice. However there is a long ramp to the slides. Older kids were riding a scooter on it...while other older kids were running up and down it playing tag. Without parents parenting...it makes it a little dangerous for smaller kids.

Amazing place to play! Theres 5 different parks and two are accessibility friendly for people with disabilities and young kids . But seriously the Wild West one by the library is one of the best parks Ive been to!

This park is amazing. Its always super clean, it frequently gets used for all sorts of activity, feels super safe as well (helps its near a police and fire station). Park is also an amazing spot for playing pokemon go if youre into that sort of thing. New playground for the kids is also being put together and its looking great. Its really a park for all sorts. Library is located here as well which is also fantastic.

This is a beautiful park that is very well maintained. The old play area for kids was really great but we are excited to see the updated version opening soon.There is a lot of activity at this park on Pokemon Community day.
