Gardner Village is always a fun place to visit. Each shop is unique and friendly. The Village has several very good restaurants with all sorts of homemade comfort food. I love to visit at anytime of the year. And although I dont have little ones to take, it is set up to be very friendly for little boys and girls, too. Parking is a little tight at times, so I would suggest you come before usual busy times, which you can see on their website.

I love spending time at Gardner Village! I love attending Witches night out and have attended for 12+ years. This year is a little hard because of the STATES regulations. Understanding that Gardner Village is trying their best to continue to stay open while requesting masks and social distancing, it is still a fun night of shopping! Lucinda is of course delightful to talk with and love her witchy personality! My kids absolutely adore her! We wouldn’t miss a witches night out even with the world in a pandemic.

I had a wonderful time this year at witchfest. Everyone was aware of the covid safety guidelines. Its outdoors and your kids will love looking at the witch displays. I wish they had a bit more selection of boutiques. Face painting was awesome but I wish they did the proper one we asked on my son. The little creek is so cute floating witches on it! It was just overall fun. My kids enjoyed ringing the huge bell.

Our Grandson noticed Santa Clause and could not wait to go see him. Finding out that we had to pay 88.00 to see Santa was totally ridiculous!!! Not one person in line. Our sweet Grandson was so disappointed. I’m just shocked at how much they want, even if you don’t want pictures!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Not worth going to WitchFest events this year at all! Not able to dance and if you do start dancing to a song they change it. They are basically wanting people to walk around and spend money at boutiques. People and little kids were asking to take pictures with my group and we were told we can’t take pictures with people not in our group. The main staff witch was so rude. We understand the rule of masks and the staff have to follow guidelines or they will be shutdown, BUT the witch’s approach and what she said was very confrontational and rude. We explained to the main witch it’s hard to dance and do an active activity while wearing a mask because it’s hard to breathe. She told us to not dance then. We will be canceling and requesting a refund for the tickets on the witches dinner and will not be going again! Not worth spending the money and time on costumes to attend.

This place is wonderful. It is very peaceful here and there is a delightful combination of creativity and comfort that make up the entire atmosphere of Gardner Village. There is an energy to this place that feels as though it stepped out and off the pages of an old, beautiful story book and into our sometimes bleak little world. Mind you, many of the shops are for women or children but there are many things to enjoy as a family from the river occupied by ducks (which you can feed) to perusing the beautifully imaginative candy shop, getting a couples massage, or dining at Archibalds. There also events for the whole family that (Ive heard) are incredibly fun. I love this place for its serene beauty and storybook style atmosphere.

My family loves Gardner Village! It’s a well-kept shopping center with lots of cute little boutiques, a bakery, a restaurant, a photo studio. During the spring, they have fairies displayed all around for shoppers to find. My kids love it! They do witch displays all over around Halloween and elves at Christmas time. It’s just a fun place to visit. We enjoy bringing friends here from out of town because it’s unique and always decorated very festive. We also love just how naturally beautiful it is—there are a couple small bridges and a pond, with ducks (when here seasonally). The shopping is definitely geared mostly toward women here so don’t expect to find lots of clothes for guys here. It’s mostly little boutiques selling toys, decor, home goods, some clothes and accessories with a little dining and a couple entertainment options.

Awful today! If you’re coming anytime during fall break count on a crowded, chaotic time. They tell you to keep “a broomstick’s length apart” from each other but there’s no way you can due to masses of people being crammed into this small space. The parking is horrendous ( too many crammed into the spaces again) and this year, you have to pay for it. We used to love coming here but not anymore. They need to take a page from Thanksgiving Point’s page and learn to meter and control attendance. Such a disappointment.

Response to owner: We were dancing and socially distanced while dancing. Obviously you didn’t notice. If dancing isn’t allowed play different music, and announce that no dancing is allowed on the news and radio. My group was in compliance with the Salt Lake County mask mandate because we were socially distanced, and per the Salt Lake County mask mandate if you are socially distanced you don’t have to wear a mask. Check your facts next time before you tell someone they were doing something they weren’t. I posted a picture, and I am the witch in white... obviously you can tell from the pic we are socially distanced. More than 6’ apart.DO NOT GO TO WITCHFEST THIS YEAR. They do NOT allow dancing. The main witch Lucinda said I couldn’t take pictures, was so rude and had horrible presentation. Then she came back and said I could take pictures with a mask on. My entire group totaling 9 people heard her say I couldn’t take pictures the first time. Get your details straight lady. If you’re not allowing dancing this year post it on your Facebook, news, radio stations... everywhere. I’m still at Gardner Village and they are continuing to play dancing music. So why are you continuing to play dancing music and not allowing people to dance? AND per CDC guidelines you can or can not wear a face mask when you’re doing a physical activity. Get your facts straight on what the CDC says about masks Lucinda, and Gradner Village. Also, don’t be so rude to people. If wearing a face mask while dancing is a Gardner Village rule than you should post it everywhere, and not play dancing music (Gardner Village doesn’t allow dancing this year). Also, be nice when asking someone to put a mask on. I know you’re a witch, but you don’t have to be so mean. Everyone in my party, and every spectator commented on how rude you were to me. I hope you’re nicer to people after you read this review. And if I’m not allowed to touch people, then Gardner Village shouldn’t allow face painting... because they’re touching hundreds of different kids a day.

They are not abiding by county mask mandate and I will not be back. Went for WitchFest and upon pulling into the parking lot noticed the attendant who was shouting into a walkie-talkie did not have a mask. Not just that it was draped around his ear or his neck or in his hand but that he did not have one at all. This seemed to be a trend with employees and attendees. I expressed concern to one employee and they said they will not ask attendees to wear masks because it is too dangerous nowadays and someone could get shot. Fascinating considering how many police they had at the event that no one was willing to enforce safety standards. The crowds were huge and this felt like a super spreader event. I left shortly after I got there.

I visited in June during the Fairy season. There were little fairy displays set up in the water features, in shop windows, intermingled with the merchandise within the shops, and placed throughout the area to find as a game. There were photo op fairy wings in a couple of places and truly the whole place was full of beautiful backdrops for picture taking. The candy shop was full of all sorts of delicious treats. The house-made salt water taffy actually has salt in it from the Great Salt Lake. So cool! And it was SO fresh and soft. Fudge samples were offered, eaten, and then more fudge was purchased. They have carmel popcorn and gourmet chocolates among the fresh offerings too, as well as all sorts of pre-packages treats that would make a special occasion even more special. Among these were several different flavors of malt balls. I purchased the mint-chocolate malt balls for my husband for Fathers Day.So many vintage pieces in these shops; both truly vintage and made-to-look vintage. Plan to spend several hours here browsing and enjoying the beautiful property. I will be back.
