It is a historical place. Beautiful. Saw many elk. No pictures to share only took video

Awesome random excursion we took. Was so surprised to even find the doors unlocked so we were allowed to go into this church. Elk were just on the other side of the tree line heading our way too. Perfect timing.

Just how I remember it after 13 years

I cant prove this but I feel like the original road was in front of the church between the church and the creek. You can see the depression that is now the trail going through there. It would make sense because the front of the church would have faced the road.

What a beautiful experience! Highly recommend visiting the park, for elk, natural beauty and serenity!

Always cool to see older buildings. There were loads of turkeys when we went.

Really lovely little chapel. We saw elk and the river is really close. Traffic gets a little heavy, but not bad, and the bugs were terrible.

We renewed our Wedding vows here and we love the history behind these old churches.You can definitely get very nice wedding pics here.

Iv been coming here since I was a baby. The elk have ran off all the deer and there isnt many bears left. If you go, go during the week. Less people.

A neat old church in a beautiful setting, next to a creek, surrounded by nature and open to the public. We went during the elk mating season in the fall.
